Great Service!! I've gone here a couple of times and have not been let down. I think we can all agree, or at least have been in a similar situation, where we have had to bring our car into the shop and we assume we're going to get taken advantage of. "Yep....gonna need a new alternator, you motor is shot so we're going to have to replace that and I'd recommend we rebuild that transmission for you. Also, your cabin air filter is due to be replace." Wait..... How did you get all that from a slow leak in my tire?!?!?! Here's why I gave Firestone Complete Auto Care that fifth star that I do not give out freely.... I had a situation where my car wasn't starting. I figured it was a battery, or more likely in this case, an alternator issue. That's what it appeared to me. So I got the battery charged and brought the car in. After looking it over the next day, the manager of the store called me to give me an update. He said that they checked everything that they could think of, but didn't find anything wrong with the car. Battery was good. Alternator was good. No parasitic draw on the batter. They checked everything that they could think of. He said he wished they could find the problem, but suggested it may have been as simple as a bad battery connection. When it was all said and done, he charged me a fee of around $40 for looking into it and that was that. No hassle, no "recommended" service items or things to gouge me on. He could not have been more clear and fair about it. This is NOT what people typically expect from a garage. And, as much as I wish they would have found a problem to explain the issue, it has not happened again and I'm good with that. Would I go back? Depending on the need, yes, I would go back. They've always been easy to work with, clear with their explanations and fair all around. I do see a few negative reviews here. Different people, different situations. Sometimes things can be open to perception and relative to the situation itself. For me, I have not had any issues and would highly recommend. read more

BEWARE .... I WILL NEVER GO BACK! MY FAMILY IS WITHOUT A CAR NOW!!! had my daughter take her vehicle in for an oil change & what we thought needed new brakes. We found out it need new tires, and over $1600 of work done. I agreed to most of it ,but thst night when I picked it up the check engine light was on. We have never had an issue with engine and we called them the next day on 10/17/24 to tell them and that the car started over heating too. Once again no issues ever. My grandson was just diagnosed with cancer and this was there means of transportation. I explained this to them prior. We had the car towed back in and the machanic took a couple of days to even talk to us. He said that some how the car jumped time and that he didn't know if this could be something they might have done. He said that he would talk to his manager, but he told me in advance that his manger would most likely say that this was not the machanics fault. I never herd back so I called them back to find out the results and he said the manager was standing by them. I told him I would have never spent that kind of money if there was an issue and I asked for a refund for the tires since there was hardly no millage on them. He said they do not refund their work and if he knew that something was wrong he would have never suggested any of the work. The worker talked super fast and I feel like he just took us to the cleaners . Its funny that no ressults for the engine showed up until after they worked on the vehicle. I feel like they need to take responsibility for what they hqve aused to happen!! They also left the car without any antifreeze and we had to buy some because of it over heating when there has never been an issue like this before!! read more

Ruined transmission in wife's car when botching radiator work. Manager and Firestone won't admit it of course. Gave the manager the bill and work order for transmission..never heard back. This place can handle basic oil changes that's about it. Go here at your own risk! read more

Had 2 new tires installed 9/14/22. Requested 4 wheel alignment because car was wandering to the right. After alignment, steering wheel was not on center. After taking car to dealership for another issue, I was advised that alignment was not done properly. Was told that steering wheel is supposed to be locked on center prior to alignment, but that was not done. read more

Made an appointment for Saturday at 3pm drove over to the store on Anchore in Hamilton. Was a little early I arrived at 2:50pm. The customer service is horrible! was told that they were booked and could not honor my appointment. Then of course I received a call at 3pm (after I already been and gone from the store ) the customer service rep was calling to let me know that my appointment would not be available. again this was at 3pm after I was already there and gone and my appointment was actually at 3..... and the rep also hung up on me, very rude and horrible customer service. I would never recommend this store to anyone! read more

Love this shop. It's the only one I trust. So much that I now have 3 family members and 4 coworkers going here and loving them as well. Trustworthy, affordable, dependable service is what we are always given. They go out of their way to work hard when they are super busy and in a time when parts are hard to get. I went here on a recommendation. Scheduling an appointment was easy. The place is clean and easy to find. The guy at the counter was friendly. I was there for a brake pad on a squeaky rear tire and an oil change. Upon looking at my car, the first thing they told me was me my check engine light was on and they were going to run their diagnostic test on it. I was not informed of price but I immediately said no. My neighbor is a mechanic and had already done it. It's fine. It just stays on. The cost, had I let them do it, is $79.99. Next, the salesman, I assume he's what one could call a salesman, told me I needed tires. I knew this. I had been to a repair shop and consulted a man there on the topic. I have until about autumn until I need them. The salesman told me the numbers and measurements of my tires, warned me of dry rot and how I could explode. I asked if it was actually dangerous to drive on. He conceded that, no, I needed them, but I was pretty much ok. Next, my breaks. My rear grumble turned out to need a standard brake service of the rear-drum sort, of course. Costing $389.96. I asked if this was dangerous. It is not. I didn't like the cost or that I felt like they were trying to scare me. I took it for a second opinion. My rear brakes are fine! Dust! It was DUST! My front will need to be replaced fairly soon but they aren't bad. Don't go here. Ever. Update: thought it was cool the big Firestone in Dayton contacted me. But, all they did was ask my invoice number and then told me it was a misunderstanding and to contact the Firestone I initially went to. Ridiculous. Worst company ever. read more

Gave a 5 star simply because a response was made. Not trying to get anything from Firestone, but as you stated your time and mine are special. I just feel that institutions take advantage of women. I only needed my tires rotated and was told that they were waiting for me, (I was early). I did not feel that it should take over an hour. This is my reasoning. read more

I personally give them a zero rating because my mom took her van in for 2 tires an alignment and oil change first problem was the estimate they gave her didnt include the alignment then they didnt even do the alignment they said the front bearings and seals are bad then they said she needs rotors which i know is not true they just need turned they tried to go from a couple hundred dollars work to almost $1500 I wouldnt send s kid there with their bicycle read more

This Firestone is a joke! I wouldn't go to this location! They totally jacked up my tie rid on my car. I went in for an alignment and they gave me an alignment. I left and knew my car was all jacked up. Well I just took my car to a different Firestone location and they looked at my car and told me whoever did your last alignment broke my tie rod lugs? And he showed me. They messed up my car so bad it wasn't drivable!! Worst service ever I called and told them what they did and the guy who answered the phone did not care at all about them messing up my car. Worst service ever. I don't even trust them to go back and have them fix it for free cause they messed up my tie rod in the first place. So I'm going to a different Firestone location the location who noticed the issue for them to fix it I would rather pay out of pocket for a location who knows what they are doing!! read more

This is not the first time I have sworn off this location. I refuse to take my personal vehicle here but unfortunately my girlfriend has a credit line with Firestone and out of convenience she brought her 09 Kia Borrego for pads and rotors. I assumed there would be an upsell conversation (There is ALWAYS an upsell and RJ is a good salesmen to at least try to raise the bottom line) I get it... but thats where it should have ended. I was told the calipers were rusty and needed replaced. I am 100% certain this is an upsell I did not need. I was never told the caliper had seized, only that they had 'surface' rust and were dangerous. So I refused the upsell and explained we did not want to replace the calipers at this time and to simply finish the brake pads and rotors and we would be by to pick it up. I was then told the warranty would be void and I would be wasting my money if they didn't install the calipers as well and again I explained we did not want to replace the calipers at this time maybe later.... Thats when the fun began... Stop me if you have heard this from Firestone before :) 'We can't do the job without the additional parts and cost because that would be dangerous' Things went south from there... What started as a 'suggested' upsell of calipers to 'save me money down the road' and to 'Keep the warranty intact' has literally turned into 'Pay what we dictate or drive it home with cracked pads that are unsafe' The ironic part is they will certainly put the cracked pads back on and let you drive it home because you were too stubborn and wouldn't pay another $400+ in extortion. I understand this review will fall on deaf ears for the most part and that doesn't bother me but if one single person is spared from dealing with this nightmare then I feel like it was worth it read more
