This place was a mess. So bad that I went there probably a month ago and I just now remembered that I never left a bad review, which I never do. Went there for a simple oil change, which I normally do my self but I was in a crunch. I dropped it off, left for an hour and a half, came back, waited another hour and a half. Finally asked about my car and noticed it hadn't even been moved into the garage. They finally move it into the garage, I wait 30 mins, where I'm then called to take a look at my drain plug, which they were saying they were having a hard time getting off. They completely destroyed my drain plug and proceeded to make it seem like it was like that, which I know it wasn't because I change my oil so I know what it looked like. I end up telling them forget it and give me my car back. Later that night I go to start the car and my RPM gauge is all over the place. They left my mf engine oil cover unscrewed so there was a vacuum leak and oil splattered all over my engine bay. Bunch of clowns. I'd rather let my car blow up then go back there read more

My husband and I have had our oil changed at this location multiple times since being stationed at JBMDL. The first few times were fine, but today, when we added on other services (wiper change, brake check) we've been put through the ringer. I was told our brakes were fine, but that the control arms on the front were going to break soon. We decided to have them change them out to prevent further damage. Well, when they went to replace the control arms, they BROKE THE FRONT AXEL OF OUR ONLY CAR! They are comping our oil change, and not charging us for the axel replacement, but my poor husband has been stuck in their waiting area with crappy phone service for nearly 4 hours now, and is just now being told it's a 45 minute ETA for the delivery of the axel replacement! So basically, don't go to this place. It may seem convenient, but apparently they aren't very careful or considerate. read more

came here to change my light, it is hard to leave the car here as everyone needs a car on base so to leave the car here I depended on rides. the best way to avoid having to leave the car for something simple is to make an appointment and that makes possible for them to separate some time to just look at your stuff and you can just wait out in the store. that is what I did. I got an appointment and had them change my head light. be aware that this place is not cheap at all, I had changed my light before for less than 30 but by my home in NYC but here they charged me 50 dollars to change the light. so yes I would not come here again unless it is an emergency. but overall the staff here is pretty knowledgeable and friendly. read more

My second time at an on-post Firestone (first time was not this location) and my second time having to do the work myself in the parking lot of the Firestone. This time, I saw a nail in my tire on Sunday afternoon. Firestone was the closest and only service shop open on Sunday. Tech said tire was too bald to repair. I use my truck for transpo for my family and to work. Even though Firestone is cool with people driving around with nails in their tires, I am not. Changed the tire in the Firestone parking lot myself. Firestone exists bc it's on-post. Look at the reviews... I'd drive 20 miles out of the way to get an emergency fixed. read more

Bottom line: should loose AAFES/on base affiliation. Terrible-charged for a rotation that never happened, tech said he rotated only half the car.-say what? I will give them one star for the refund. What else do they get away with that goes unnoticed? Even after the alignment and lack of rotation the car still pulls right. Skip these guys altogether. DO NOT GO HERE! My husband brought his car here to have his tires balanced and and oil changed since he had a coupon. The mechanics make stuff up and will try to rip you off. They are overpriced and had his car for hours and hours. In addition, he coincidentally had a tire leak the day after taking his car here. Whether they did it or not, I would not recommend anybody chance it. The risk isn't worth the convenience of not having to leave base. Just go the extra mile and take your car elsewhere. read more

I don't want to continue the trend of one star reviews but I would not recommend anyone going to this Firestone. They attempted to over charge my wife double the original price on a job that should have only cost $55. And told her she is actually getting a deal because they usually charge more. Tire rack delivered tires. So we were only getting tires installed. She called me and told me the charges and fees and I was blown away. They were attempting to charge us for installing low profile tires on an SUV with stock wheels. And continued to tell my wife that it's the right charge. Even when we were telling them we don't have low profile tires being installed. It costs $3 a tire extra in the system to install low profile tires. So they were charging us to install low profile tires but installing stock sized tires. It wasn't until after we told they we were being charged the wrong amount and them noticing my wife was on the phone with me did they finally "notice" they were wrong. On top of this they told my wife it's required to install new TPMS sensor kit. And it's included in the tire install. Only $28 extra charge. I don't trust their employees honesty or their ability to perform work on my car. I will use Daves auto or GW Tire from now on. Never have I felt unsure about the quality of service or trust worthy of either of those locations. read more

My wife took her car there for an oil change appointment. She dropped it off and went to to PX when she came back an hour later she was told the new tech did not know he had a car to service. It then took another 45 minutes. She has been going there for years. The service used to be great but it has gone down hill since the old assistant manager got his own store. Never again. Dropped my car off for oil change and balance/rotate tires at 1200. I called THEM at 4:45 PM to see if my car was done. Almost 5 HOURS later. Eddie said he was so busy all day that he didn't have a chance to call me. Seriously!?! 300 minutes you have my car and you can't find 2 minutes to just call and say "hey, your car is done. Bye". Also, bit pricey for bare bones service. No car wash, no vacuum, no window cleaning....nothing. I will definitely find a better place. Wish I had read the reviews before taking my car here. Sucks that the place on base is crappy. Guess that's why it's still in business....constantly new customers so people don't know any better. read more

I've never had a problem here. Sure, it's a bit pricier than some options, but the quality of work is good and the staff is top-notch. I don't appreciate being nickel and dimed to death with nitpicky, unnecessary work when I go to an auto mechanic, and this Firestone does not do that. Everyone I have dealt with at this location had been up front and honest about what my car needs or doesn't need. I brought a car in that I had recently purchased for an inspection. Rather than try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary work, the mechanic told me that the car was in great shape, and didn't need anything now, but would probably need new tires in a few months (I knew that when I bought the car). Another time I brought a car in with a problem, they looked at it and called me to tell me that I might want to shop around because it was going to be very expensive to have the work done there. For me, that kind of honesty goes a L-O-N-G way! I will continue to bring my cars here for just about everything. Good place, good people. read more

Was a Firestone customer, without issue for oil changes for almost two years. They were convenient to my office. I too had read the Yelp reviews but ignored figuring that was the unhappy minority, not the pleased majority. Found out the hard way that my safety is more important.... I had strut work performed and when I picked up the car the brakes weren't working very well. I went on travel and when I returned was nervous to drive the car since I had to put the pedal on the floor to stop! I took the car back to Firestone for them to fix their work. They took the car and called me an hour later saying they wouldn't test drive it because the brakes were so bad and I needed a $400 repair to fix the brakes! I spoke to two others who had experienced performance issues at this same location and they recommended other mechanics in the area. I retrieved my car from Firestone and took it to Tom's just outside the Wrightstown Gate. They bled the brakes and made the vehicle safe to drive. I returned to Firestone and explained to them that I had to pay Tom's to do what I had already paid Firestone to perform. They gave me the run around to talk to a manager about a refund for the portion of the strut job that they apparently had not done but did reimburse me for what I had to pay Tom's to complete their job. I can't put a price on my sense of safety or the time wasted trying to get Firestone to correct their work. I would not recommend using this location. read more

I've had a few problems here. Management over 30 minutes late to open store maybe even longer causing me to leave because the 30 minutes was already having me running late. Second problem - telling me they had a part for my Honda that they didn't. Took 3 hours to tell me this and had to leave to go somewhere else. Overpriced compared to dealership on certain things. I only come for oil changes. Never had a smooth time here but its convenient being on base close to my job. After today won't be coming back read more
