Went there for an alignment and a knocking sound in my vehicle they put my vehicle up on the lift and they told me I needed some sort of sway link. They quoted me a price of $479 which was totally overpriced and they also told me that I needed to have my radiator flushed, which maybe I do because it is over 50,000 miles but that's not why I went there. Service adviser makes a heavy commission and they're overpriced and they oversell. although I must say that the gentleman who evaluated my vehicle was very kind. read more

I brought my 2019 Chrysler 300S to Firestone at 1375 Blackwood Clementon Rd in Clementon, NJ after my vehicle shut off while driving. When I first arrived, I left my keys with the store manager, Rob. The following day, I spoke with an employee named Kyle, who informed me that the vehicle had not been brought inside due to the cold weather and that only a code related to the battery had been pulled. Despite that, I was told the issue could be related to the transmission, without a proper diagnostic being completed. The vehicle remained there for a couple of days without a confirmed diagnosis. When I returned to pick it up, the hood was already propped open, and I observed that engine components, including the intake and wiring, appeared to be disconnected. Because of this, and the lack of a clear diagnosis, I had the vehicle towed to another shop. The second shop diagnosed the issue as a faulty fuel pump, and after that repair, the vehicle was able to start and run again. I opened a corporate case (Reference #2956499) and went through multiple levels of communication. I initially spoke with store staff, then an area manager, and was told a regional manager would contact me, which never happened. The situation was then escalated to the claims department instead. During my interaction with the area manager, the call became unproductive and ended without resolution. I was later contacted by the claims department and asked to provide documentation, which I began gathering and submitting. At this point, it has been over two weeks without any follow-up or update on my claim. I made multiple attempts to resolve this through Firestone's proper channels before leaving this review. I moved here from Ohio. I have firestone tires on my car. This morning I woke up with a light on the dash. I went to Firestone to get help, as in, check the tire pressure, tell me what is wrong, and I couldn't get anybody to wait on me. So I left. What is sad, I could have spent hundreds on new tires and would have been happy to do so, but I left and I won't go back. I wonder how long this place will stay in business. Either they have so much work and not enough help, or they just don't care anymore. read more

***BEWARE!*** I just purchased a new tire, installation and alignment less than a week ago. I was on 42 driving, with my son in the car, and it felt like my tire was gonna fall off so I pulled over on the side of the highway. Turns out 4 of my lug nuts were so loose I could unscrew them with my hands. They could have killed me and my son or someone else..this is serious! I will NEVER go back to them ever again!! Thankfully my son and I are safe and ok. But if I kept driving like that on the highway I don't know if we would have made it to where we were going. Any suggestions on how to get this issue heard louder so more people are aware? I'm going to post something on Facebook and yelp as well. I had an appointment at 8am today. They didn't not bring my car back to be diagnosed til 9:15, after I finally went to the counter requesting to know why my car wasn't brought back yet. After diagnosing (over another hour), I was informed my services would take another 2 hours. Had they brought my car back into the bay at my appointment time, I would've been able to be out of there in time to be at my job by noon. Not recommended for service due to poor communication and no sense of urgency. read more

I don't know where to begin; my vehicle is a mess just like the owner... These guys went above and beyond on more than one occasion. Ted the store manager and Anthony one of the mechanics are absolutely phenomenal. They are well informed with vehicles both domestic and foreign but the main selling point for me was the fact that they care. Their customer service is exemplary they actually want to get the job done and repair whatever issue it is that you have as opposed to taking advantage of a car owner totally ignorant to everything about the vehicle besides driving. You can go in there and expect to get an honest opinion, fair prices, personal & professional treatment. There is a location closer to our home but I am so glad that I chose this one and will continue to go there from here on out. Great service! The manager helped me a ton. They were super fast, in and out! I went to a Pep boys to get an oil change done quick, needed an appointment, that particular day I had off so that wasn't an option(they didn't have a single car in the lot). Firestone said no problem and go it done quick and with a smile on their face. They had a bunch of people in there and still got it done in less then an hour. Dropped off truck Sunday at noon for an oil change and their complete vehicle check up made it very clear needed truck back by 3 pm. I was told no problem showed up at 3:27 and the did not even start working on my vehicle. Asked Mgr said it was a bad day..... Really it takes 20 min for an oil change 4 techs working plus manager. Thanks Firestone really screwed up my Sunday dinner plans. I guess my time or plans don't mean anything. BEWARE great customer service read more

This Firestone is the BEST!!!! The manager Ted is unbelievably honest. When they realized my car needed something that the dealership could do that would be covered under warranty, they DIDN'T charge me for the diagnostic test/work and assisted me with getting it to the dealership! What car place does that? They could have made a fortune off of me, a single woman in her thirties. But there are still honest people in the world. Ask for Ted, or even Chris, heck all of the men there, lol, and you will be in good hands!! Such a great place! read more

Monday night, I hit a pot hole and immediately knew that it was a problem. I pulled over and changed to the spare tire and noticed that the rim was bent. I got home and the next morning(Tuesday) had to call out because my spare was flat. I took the rim up to firestone in clementon (I live in berlin) because I've been going there for 3 cars now and my father used to work there. I dropped it off and they informed me that it looks fixable and would probably get it back tomorrow (Wednesday). I left a good number to call since the account has a few. I called Wednesday morning asking if it was done and they said they forgot to call me and that they were sorry. They couldn't fix the rim and I had to get a new one and it would be there the next day(Thursday[today]). I asked about pricing and said it was ok. I called today and they said oh wait it just got here right now. I said ok. my brother will be up to grab it and pay for it. My brother calls and tells me that while no car is there and they have multiple people working, he has to wait for the tire to be mounted and balanced an hour AFTER I informed them that he was coming. I actually have been pretty patient with clementon firestone throughout the years because even with oil changes that shouldn't take long, I drop off the car and ask for them to call me. sometimes I would leave it over night. each time I would do those things, I have to call to ask if it was done and EVERY time, they forgot to call me. The time i sat and waited for them, i was out within the hour even when all the waiting chairs were full. They have no respect for their customers getting cars in a timely fashion even when the most patient ones give them HOURS to complete it. I had a diagnostic done to find a short in my electrical system that was preventing my windows from rolling up or down. I informed the mechanic ahead of time that my husband and I had worked on the car before we discovered we didn't have the proper tools, so the windows were rigged shut. The mechanic said that that was ok and we left the car over the weekend. I got a call a few days later saying that they couldn't do work on my car because it had no "original parts" left. I told the employee that I mentioned this when I dropped off the car, and didn't appreciate them holding my car for several days just to tell me what I told them. So they bring my car out. First off, my car wasn't spotless when it went in, but then again no ones is. But the "mechanics" left trash in my car (several schematics crumpled up on my floor, hairnets?!, my window controls pulled out, crumpled up floor protectors all over), and they left ALL my windows down, despite me telling them that the windows weren't working, hence the reason I even came to them in the first place. The woman who brought my car around ran in faster than I could even keep up with, and I knew that there was no sense in even going to complain, because I had enough of their shitty ass service for one day, and managed to get all my windows back up later that evening. Luckily there was no rain that day. So I wrote a nasty letter to Firestone to tell them about the fast one the mechanics tried to pull on me. I left out my personal contact information, because I didn't want to be bothered about it, or try to find a solution. A few days later, I received several back to back phone calls at either 9 or 10am, and called from 2 different numbers before I answered to find out it was a Firestone rep, and I refused to talk to him. He called back 2 weeks later, so I wrote a second letter to Firestone, telling them that if I had wanted to be contacted by them, I would have included my number on the complaint form, and I didn't appreciate them calling the store for my contact information, and that I DID NOT want to be contacted anymore. That was a week ago. Today I got a "card" from Firestone, with a voucher for $15 off my next visit because "they miss my business". Clearly, this company does not understand what "leave me alone" means. When I have a bad experience, 9 times out of 10 I don't want some reimbursement to go back to a place you just trashed with a review. Trashing my car is completely unacceptable. I'm sure Clementon and the surrounding areas have much better, a million times more respectful local mechanics who would be willing to take cars that don't have these special parts. Speaking of these "special parts", they were no more than some plastic clips that hold the windows up that are probably less than a dollar, and a bracket to hold the battery in place, which was $5 read more
