I don't even try to hide it; a lot of people could actually take advantage of it but they don't. Anyways, I'm a stickler about my oil being changed now because of a certain incident that ended up with me replacing my ENTIRE engine on my car; but i digress. I came in uniform and obviously exhausted from the day and just wanted to finally knock this check off my lift of "to do" and just wanted it over with. The customer service here was impeccable. I mean, opened my door, called me by my last name with a "miss" in front and said if i wanted to go get a jersey mikes sandwich i was more than welcome and he'd call my cell. How nice was that? And i totally did. it took less than 20 minutes and they even cleaned the windows, checked the tired and filled up some liquids for free. All in all it was about $40 but i know if i had cut coupons and not gone on a whim it would have been cheaper. Definitely going there again if only to hear someone so nice talk to me. I'd pay for that ha ha. So sweet and nice there - amazing service, seriously.

I contacted jiffy lube the 29th and they said they did the investigation and it shows the guy taking my engine cover off and not putting it back on. My car is misfiring and I can't drive it due to the misfire and it jerking when the rpm's go up. Jiffy lube said they ordered the engine cover on April 14th , and they would change my spark plugs. Well April 23rd I called for an update, well to come find out they were ordering the part that day and it should be here the by the 29th , It is now April 30th and they have yet to update me even after I have reached out!

I attempt to call the service location to find out their listed phone number is not working. I partner with their customer service department to establish a claim and attempt to have the vehicle towed back for them to look at. A few days go by, and I hear from one of their associates who seems really friendly and is going to help get my vehicle moved to the store for inspection. Day 1 - nothing... I was apparently supposed to text them my address which is also on the invoice for reference. Day 2 - tow truck will show up to get my vehicle since I provided my address - it does not show up. Day 3 - my car is finally moved to their store and all claims of wrong-doing or error are denied. It was just a bad break that my radiator was going to go according to them. Just the tip of the iceberg unfortunately... I reluctantly agree to have Valvoline replace the radiator which is covered under my vehicle warranty, and it gets completed within 48 hours. That was about 8 days ago, and now I can't get my vehicle back because they can't provide a valid repair invoice to the warranty company. I even had to conduct a three-way meeting with warranty company and Valvoline so that everyone can understand exactly what was needed. 6 more days have gone by that my car is being held hostage over an itemized invoice with a valid address. This started off as comical until it wasn't funny anymore. I attempted to have my warranty group contact them, and they had the same experience with the publicly posted phone number being inactive. I will ensure everyone I know in the city I've lived in my entire life knows about this experience. I'd say that you will never touch my vehicle again, but joke's on me, you won't give it back.

I love their "tire air lane" where you just pull up and there's a tire technician who will check the air in all 4 tires or 1 tire whatever is needed and will on the spot add air. I went in because my tire pressure light was on. The technician found my problem pretty quick, a headless screw had penetrated my tire so it had a slow leak. I dropped off my car the next morning and they fixed the flat for free. No hassles just excellent customer service. They also checked the tread on all 4 of my tires. Tires don't seem to last as long as they used to or maybe since I'm older I'm just paying more attention. I'll be needing new tires soon and will give Discount Tire another chance to earn my business on a new set of Michelin or Hankook tires.
