I'm not sure if it was the owner, but he was super helpful and quick despite not even being open for business that day - he stayed to help the community, including the several others that showed up while my husband was there. I've had my car serviced at many places throughout Florida, from chain auto shops to local mechanics. This was by far my best experience. Because I expressed curiosity, they explained and showed me their process of working on the engine. They finished quickly, charged an unbelievably low rate, and didn't try to sell me any additional services I didn't need. Several days later, my engine is in great condition. I've never had an enjoyable experience getting my car serviced before going here (the pet dog in the waiting area helped!). I can't recommend this place enough.

He held to his word that he gave me on the phone and expedited my service to hold to that. But what really stood out was his amazing attitude. Ken is a man that truly knows how to deal with people and make them feel welcomed and important as they are dealing with what is usually an annoying time for us all (getting work done on our car). I just wanted my great experience at Tire Discounters to be attributed to Ken and his amazing attitude. The tires and free alignment are great as well, my car hasn't been rolling so smooth in a long time. Thanks Ken!

Truly baffled by my experience today. I've been to this location a few times, even brought my…read morefriends car in too. But after today I certainly won't be back. First and foremost everyone in store was fine - no issues and I wasn't upset with the situation. The car needed an oil change and I forgot to bring in the mailer stating their oil change special of 39.95. I told the lady at the counter but she wouldn't honor it because I didn't bring it in. Okay- annoying but whatever right? WRONG. They drained the oil but then couldn't get the filter out. I know this can be a common issue but to quote me nearly $400 PLUS the $80 oil change seemed insane. I called the last place that did the oil change and they completely took care of it/me. Now I paid the $80 thanked them and left. But I found the mailer and read every single word - nowhere does it state it needed to be brought in for redemption, it actually doesn't even say it's a coupon it says "oil change special" So I called the manager Blake, he was immediately rude, condescending and disrespectful. When I mentioned the tech drained the oil before taking out the filter he instantly remarked how "That's the ONLY way to do an oil change." (Truly, almost any mechanic can give you a different answer on what's right or wrong but that's neither here nor there). It was the immediate rudeness and talking down to me that really took me by surprise. I told the manager all I was asking was a partial refund since I had the ad and it doesn't say it needs to be brought in. He essentially told me too bad and again "EVERY store requires the coupons in person." He then offered that the coupon doesn't expire so I can bring it in next time. I told Blake frankly I don't know that I'll come back if this is how they treat customers. After a few minutes of back and forth regarding the coupon Blake told me I can bring the mailer in, he will write me a check for the difference, and to never come back to his shop again. P.S I called Amerifix of Franklin - I said I totally forgot my mailer at home can you still honor the coupon, they told me yes. I also asked if they usually drain the oil first or remove the filter, he said they remove the filter first. What a terrible way to do business and a terrible way to treat customers. Shame on you Blake.

The car has over 300,000 miles on it but has always run like a brand-new vehicle, so when I started having issues with it struggling to accelerate past 40 mph and having trouble going up hills, I knew something wasn't right. When I first got the vehicle, we took it to Pep Boys, and they recommended that we visit a muffler shop to have the catalytic converter inspected. It was rusty, and although there weren't any visible holes or broken parts, we were told it was fine but I found out that that's not a part that you could just inspect from the outside. A family friend of ours, Demetrius R, who is a mechanic initially offered to do the work for us at a great price, but he actually ended up recommending Kraft Street Muffler -- and I'm so glad he did. I ordered an OEM catalytic converter from AutoZone ahead of time, and when I called Kraft Street Muffler for a labor quote, I was shocked to hear it was only $150 before taxes. Even better, they were able to get us in immediately, and the entire job only took about an hour. The technician who serviced my vehicle was extremely friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He took the time to educate us about the car and explain things in a way that went above and beyond what I expected. Since the repair, there are no more check engine lights on, and the car runs even more amazing than before. Faster and more powerful. Overall, it was a smooth, affordable, and trustworthy experience. I will absolutely continue to use and recommend Kraft Street Muffler to anyone needing exhaust or catalytic converter work.
