I purchased new tires and new rear break pads. My $119 break pad deal turned into $199 because nobody asked if I wanted something else added. I was ticked. When it came time to service my suburban, I made an appointment with Firestone so that I could get my tires rotated for free with my service. I mentioned to Tommy about the charge and he assured me it would be taken care of. Tommy had said he would refund the money I was charged previously. When finished with our vehicles they did not have the paperwork done properly so we ended up paying (Tommy was not there). After making a phone call and not hearing back we went back in to be refunded the money we were owed and I was also back to have my windshield wiper fluid refilled. As part of the service my reservoir was supposedly filled and it was not. Tommy made things right, but I just don't know that I'll go back. read more

Customer service was friendly but I was told to bring my car in for a tire change at 11;15. It's now 3:10 and still not finished. Just needed one tire. Car has been on the rack for 2.5 hours and still nothing. As far as product, the Bridgestone run flats are the worst tires I've ever owned. I've now bought 6 in the last 10 months. Firestone complete auto care did a wonderful job performing routine maintenance and repair work on my two cars. The managers Kevin and Brent did a great job explaining the issues for each car, let me vent and help me understand what was wrong and how it was going to be fixed. They did not try to up sell nor push products I did not need. The best service they recently provided me was troubleshooting my leaking oil pan. One option was to replace the entire oil pan but the labor was 6.1 hours. Then they wanted to try an over sized screw but they realized the oil pan material was not strong enough. Finally, they called around to other mechanics and even to the Honda dealership to fully understand the best repair for the lowest price.. The service provided by Kevin and Brent gave me was what I needed to have the satisfaction of fixing my car and knowing I was getting the best price for it. In the past, I've brought my two cars here for Routine maintenance; new tires, rotation and balancing; new batteries; new belts; oil changes and Repairs: new shocks and struts; new brakes, pads and rotors. read more

When you have a 10:00 am appointment for an oil change and lifetime alignment check, and they are done with your car at 11:52 am, why would anyone be pleased with this poor of a service experience? Almost two hours, really? And no explanation or apology for the delay. And since I didn't get a printed report on the wheel alignment, I can't be sure it was even done. I've been getting our cars serviced at this store for many years and the service experience has been declining. read more

These guys are amazing! I was there twice, a couple weeks ago and then again two days ago. Both times I was there for a used car diagnostic check to make sure that the vehicle I was planning on purchasing wouldn't fall apart on me two days after I bought it. Both times the staff were quick, knowledgable, and attentive. They were also not afraid to give me their personal opinions when asked for them about whether or not they'd personally buy a vehicle and put their time into it. Because of their help I was able to find a perfect used car for my family in stellar condition! I live a bit of a drive away, and I'm sure there are a BUNCH of Firestones on the way to this one from where I live, but I honestly would take the 35-40 minute drive to this specific location just to work with these guys. Jesse was my service advisor, he was great! And Craig was my technician, who was also amazing! I'm not sure who I worked with when I came the first time, but they were also amazing gentleman! This place is awesome! I went there to have them check out a used car which I wanted to buy from King's AutoMall and what a thorough job they did! They took about 40 minutes to completely examine the car's transmission, suspension, steering system, shocks, rust in the body and all for a price of $21.99!! What's more, they gave me a detailed list of maintenance requirements which I was able to use to further negotiate down the price of the car!! read more

I moved to the area recently and it was my first time at this Fields Ertel Firestone. I usually get my services done at my dealer. But of late they have started to quote ridiculous prices for everything. I called up and fixed an appointment for replacing the brake pads and resurfacing rotors for both front and back axles of my Nissan sedan. The prices they quoted were the best, they used genuine Wagner parts and it was really a very good deal. I think the manager's name was Kevin. The service was perfect and he was very courteous, answered all my questions and looked genuinely happy to serve a customer. If things go well for the next couple of times, they might have just got a life long customer. I recently recommended them to a colleague of mine and he had a very good experience too. read more

On 11.14.17 I made an appointment for 11.16.17 at 5:00PM to have my tires I ordered from Tire-Rack installed ON MY FANCTORY BMW WHEELS. I showed up promptly at 4:50PM to have my tires installed, upon entering I let "Tommy" know that my wheels have been powder coated to repair scratches recently. He then calls his manager who was not on premises? The manager, John May tells Tommy NOT to install the tires, because he is afraid of scratching them? Huh? Isn't this a concern for ALL WHEELS, isn't this the reason you should hire competent people to perform the job? Needless to say I was infuriated at this point, Firestone wasted 2 hours of my time for absolutely nothing! I left the tires at Firestone as I COULD NOT HALL THEM AROUND IN MY 330Xi BMW. I promptly called Tire-Rack and told them the situation and I wanted a refund, because of the lack of service Firestone has provided. The rep from Tire Rack told me she would have the tires relocated to Performance Alignment in Tri-County and would call me back when they were there, Firestone should be taking notes here as this is the proper way customer service is performed! What sad about this is we have had (3) of our cars tires installed here from Tire Rack and never had problem with anything, this manger (John May) has apparently been there less than a year and the crew was not the same crew that installed our other tires. Not only will I not be returning to this Firestone location, I will NOT ever be taking my cares to any Firestone location, as I relayed to tommy at the sales counter "I wouldn't let you guys work on my wheel barrel" *Kudos to Tire Rack for all the help! Firestone failed miserably! John May the service manager should be flipping hamburgers at McDonalds, no I take that back I don't want my food screwed either, maybe he could flurry at a junk yard? read more

AVOID THIS LOCATION LIKE THE PLAGUE. I bought my car two years ago and always went to the dealership for my routine maintenance. I noticed I was due for an oil change, called around to some other locations but they were booked (it was around 4:00pm) but Firestone has an opening if I was available right then. Got my oil change. Took a road trip and drove 200 miles and imagine the surprised look on my face when I find there is NO OIL in the vehicle. Oil is leaking like crazy. I took it back, they are unable to surely diagnose where the leak is coming from, claiming it's the turbo line. The first thing that went wrong is when I asked to see what was going on with my vehicle they told me I could not go into the garage, even though I was staring at a sign on the door that says I can as long as I'm with an employee and wearing goggles. After the guy at the desk said "no", I asked "even if I wear goggles?" And he begrudgingly got me a pair of goggles. The turbo line is connected to the oil filter housing, it's within the realm of possibility that the line was cracked when they changed my filter. The day I had it changed I felt a little uneasy because the guys performing the oil change seemed very young, but anyway when I brought it back and they could not diagnose what was wrong with it I asked for my money back. The Store Manager was an ass and denied me a refund because the oil change was "on par with company standards". I sat in the lobby for over an hour waiting for him to give me a refund, while he called around to the Chevy dealership to get their opinion on what was wrong. I asked him not to do that as it was a waste of my time and I would take it to the dealership myself. Still, he kept me waiting while he was making his phone calls. Finally he comes out and tells me he can either fix it or give me a refund. Why would I ever allow him to work any deeper into my vehicle when a simple oil change was a nightmare?? I chose a refund. It took over an hour for him to give me my refund. Not to look at the vehicle, but for him to agree to give me my money back. Once he agreed it took 3 minutes to process the refund. Management, from the store manager to the district manager, is a joke. I would not trust them to clean a toilet let alone work on an expensive car. DO NOT GO! read more

I came in to replace ONE tire that had blown out. Only one. They pushed me to get ALL the tires replaced, insisted on the most expensive ones and then tried pumping me for more money for what turned out to be unnecessary repairs (went to my usual mechanic to find THAT out). They've really got quite a racket going on there. read more
