I've been coming here with different vehicles for quite some time, and these gentlemen have consistently been kind, professional, and straightforward. I own a vintage vehicle with very low mileage and work hard to maintain it as best as I can. When I first purchased it, I went to another shop for a tune-up and fluid change, assuming the job was done properly. Little did I know, the fluid flush never happened. Thankfully, these guys caught the issue during a visit and showed me in person just how badly my coolant needed to be flushed. I truly appreciated their honesty and kindness in explaining the situation and presenting a clear plan of action with a fair payment breakdown. They were able to take care of it the same day, working quickly and with precision to ensure the job was done right They even went out of their way to compliment me on the maintenance of the rest of the car, saying that they were particularly impressed that a 23 year old car had no rust underneath it and had only 30k miles.... thanks guys!!! Y'all are the best. It's rare to find such trustworthy mechanics, and I am grateful for their expertise and exceptional service. I got a ball joint replacement on the drivers side of my 2001 Toyota 4 runner at the firestone below. 505 E 1st St Casper Wy 82601 Within 3 days the engine started making hissing noises, shaking severely, shutting off, steaming from the hood as well as having intermittent trouble starting. Prior to this ball joint replacement i had NO performance issues what's so ever. This was evidently a result of their service. This was a serious and sudden shift especially since a ball joint replacement (suspension work) SHOULD NOT cause engine trouble directly. I would not recommend this location. read more

Store is obviously short handed. No one answers the phone, door open from the shop so your hear the music from the back as customers are waiting. The show room is Very Nasty. Dead flies everywhere and garbage cans full. Not maintained at all. read more

Back in October we came to this Firestone while passing through with my mom. It was awesome! (See, we are just a couple of blondies who get condescended to and taken for a ride a lot with auto issues. I guess some mechanics think we might be dumb so they're often dishonest and overcharge us, or we've even been totally scammed.) We had picked up a truck there and it needed to be road worthy for a long trip-- thank goodness we came here! EVERYONE was outstanding especially Jim Alva, he was simply the best auto repair specialist. He is honest. The guy has integrity. Jim went above and beyond! Talk about the extra mile-- we were in a pretty big hurry, trying to save money on hotels, and those guys were coming in early and staying late to get us on the road! With really nothing to be gained other than knowing that they did a great job, they really took care of us. Within 24 hours they had it inspected, did required repairs, oil change and tune up, brake service, noisy belt, and a few other minor things-- WERE ALL DONE. In a busy shop with plenty of other cars being worked on! We were astonished and have been far too long in writing this review. This shop deserves all of the accolades they get, and if you're looking for great car care in the Casper area, you can feel really good and really safe taking your business to Firestone. We had a flat tire on the worst possible day ever, Sunday. Not only were most of the tire places closed but the few we found open on Sunday didn't have our tire size. We did find Walmart here in Casper had the size we needed so we strapped on our spare and made the two hour drive. When we arrived at Walmart the informed us yes they had our size but the tread didn't match so they would sell us the tire but we would have to put it on ourselves, seriously after a two hour drive! So I found this place on first street yes they are open on Sunday, yes they have what we need , yes they are ready to get us on the road. It's not crowed and the staff is polite and understanding they even tried to plug the flat tire first when it didn't workout they had just the size we needed and didn't try to over sell us. I purchased tries from Firestone August 2020. picked up a screw in the middle of the tread December 2021, and took the car in. The desk guy said " I have a technician not doing anything so I will get your tire looked at" so I sat down. An hour later the desk guy came back and said " we can't fix your tire as it could be a liability issue for us if it fails. We can get you a new tire, but we have have to order it." I asked about the warranty. He said " the warranty will cover the tire but you have to pay for the road hazard warranty for the new tire $68.00." I left and went to A-1 tire on W Yellowstone. It took A-1 less than 15 minutes and paid them $11.50. AVOID FIRESTONE LIKE THE PLAGUE. There business model is not based on customer service. read more

I made an appointment for 12 for a basic oil change and I didn't get out of there until 2:20, there was no communication on why it was taking so long or any offering of a coupon or anything. I brought the wait asked about a discount for the wait and they took $4 off. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they were taking measures for Covid by providing masks (even though no one wore them). I had used my lunch break to get this done but I had no idea it was going to take this long! Feels like Walmart would have been faster. read more

I have finally learned to not give them another chance. After several issues when the old manager was there, Sean--the new manager--assured me he would win back my trust and business. Epic Fail. I went in to have my fluids checked and an oil change. I drove from DT to PV and parked for an hour. Five mins. after I left my dad called me to come right back. My car had left a HUGE oil puddle on his driveway. We put a quart in and drove to FS; I was afraid my car would die on the way from lack of oil. My oil light came on. Back at FS they admitted they had forgotten to screw in the oil filter. Their rookie oversight almost cost me my only means of transportation. Had I gone to the Mtn rather than PV like I had planned to do, I would have been screwed. I will never go back. Also, no offer to reimburse me the cost of the oil change for the waste of time. read more

This place is Awesome! We drove 940 miles yesterday and noticed a vibration when braking. Jim Alva got us in before 7 am this morning and checked all the brakes and they were fine. He noticed that our tires were wearing unevenly and suggested new tires and an alignment. Found 4 great tires, on sale, aligned the car and we were on our way. It was then that we realized that those had been the original tires, and we had driven 76,000 miles on them. Thanks again Jim! We are now Firestone customers for life! read more

As so often happens, on a long road trip we picked up a nail that had damaged the sidewall of one of our tires. And of course we discovered the damage on a Saturday night around 9 pm. A quick web search revealed that only two tire places were open on Sunday. We chose the Caspar Firestone store largely because it was open and had some very good reviews. We fired off an email about our situation that evening and the next morning at 8 we got a call from Jim, the manager. He got us on the rack at 9 and on our way by 10. Plus he made sure we got a 10% military discount! He also discovered a couple of issues related to alignment and recommended we see our dealer when we got home. Our truck was taken in and the front wheel spindle needed replaced. This place did the so called work. They neglected to tighten all the bolts and 3 came completely off which of course messed up the wheel. We took the truck back. Was given an outrageous estimate of roughly $5000.00 to fix their mistake. After arguing the price was dropped to $2000.00. As I was driving the truck on the interstate, with my daughter, I felt the truck sway, had some clunking and I knew immediately something was wrong. Thankfully was able to get off the interstate and pull over. I could smell hot metal followed by horrific screeching. After getting the truck to a real mechanic i learned that Firestone did not install the cv joint or spindle correctly. I now need to have the whole right front wheel section replaced properly. read more
