Not sure what's happening with all these negative reviews. I've been bringing my cars here for years and never had a problem. I even used to go to the now-closed Sunnyvale branch, which employed many of the same crew members who now work here. In the cases when they couldn't fix what was going on and had to send me off to a specialist, they've sent me off with great recommendations and no charges. read more

Rude mechanics: I pulled into their tight parking lot and didn't want to block their entrance so I pulled into their garage. At least twice if not three times I got yelled at by a couple of mechanics. The manager is nice, but I hope those mechanics get fired. Note to manager - it's not too late for them to apologize for their behavior. read more

Called on a Wed. looking for 4 new tires in a certain size, tread design and by a certain manufacturer and was told that they could have them in a few hours. I couldn't come in until the weekend so I made an appointment for Sun to have those tires installed. I showed a bit early and was told the tires were not there, but they would have them pretty quickly and that I should leave my truck they will call me in a few hours. No big deal. Just before my wife picked me up I looked at the work order just to double check that everything was right. I noticed they had me down for a H/T tread design when I wanted an A/T tread design. I went back into the shop to tell the gentleman working that I didn't want the H/T tire. He looked up what I wanted and said that he couldn't get those tires for nearly 10 days, but he could sell me some tires that were in stock that were over $100 more per tire. Yeah I bet you can. I told him I made this appointment 4 days ago and that I was specific about what I wanted and was told that they would be available. He literally just shrugged his shoulders and asked me if wanted the other tires. When I said absolutely not and that I would go somewhere else he actually seemed surprised. This seemed like an obvious bait and switch move. Weak! read more

Came down there for two new tires. Got a quote, decient price on cheap tires. Because my other tires were so old i asked them to save one tire for me because i figured something might happen to one of the two tires i had left. Picked up my car that night because I was gonna be leaving for vacation. When I picked up my vehicle I noticed there was no tire like i asked them to save and it was written on the invoice. On the way back from my trip I had a blowout, called them up when i got back and from here on out it was like pulling teeth. I called and talked to Angel, Angel told me my tire had been disposed of and he had to talk to Rob to see what they could do for me, told me to call back the next day. I callled back, well now Angel isnt working so Rob needs to call Angel and get back to me, told me to call back the next day. I called, Angel was working but Angel needed to get ahold of Rob because Rob talked to George (the store maniger). Told me to call back. Called back again and George answered and didnt know anything about anything, he had to call Rob and see what Rob decided to do about it. Had to call back again because George never called me back and Finially Rob got back to me and informed me that they would give me one tire for free. Would of been nice if the right hand knew what the left was doing. I have been here a few times, the techs have always been great but the people up front seem to love watching tv more than helping customers. read more

Before going out to the Firestone in Campbell, I shopped around the Internet and made some phone calls for new tires for my car. I was so pleased with the great price I got on my new tires and alignment! The service was excellent. The service writers Ron and Brian were very professional and made the whole process easy! A couple of days later my daughter needed a tire fix and they repaired it quickly. When I told Ron about a couple of parts she needed, he ordered them and then called me with updates on when the parts would arrive. I didn't have to call them, he was right on top of it! Our family is now a "Campbell Firestone" family. Thanks Brian, Ron and everybody at the Campbell Firestone!!! read more

First visit to this center. Extreme long wait times. It took almost 2 hrs for these guys to check engine light code. Not recommended

I never write reviews, but I just had to for this place. It is amazing! I wrecked my car pretty badly by hitting the sidewalk because of the speed I was driving at. I literally thought that my car was dead and unfixable. When I got to Firestone, I was helped immediately. The thing I remember the most the morning I brought my car in is Sandra, I think she is the Owner or Manager, coming up to me with a bright smile on her face telling me that they will get me out of there as soon as possible. They were so quick in getting my car in and out of shop and I loved how Sandra constantly kept in touch with me throughout the entire process keeping me up to date. They tried their absolute best to fix my car quickly while still being thorough in the job so that I could return my rental ASAP. I only had to pay for a day! Make sure to call the Enterprise down the street and let them know that your car is with Sandra and you will get a pretty sweet discount. Also, the guys that work at Enterprise are very professional, fast and the service is overall just as good. I never had such a great experience when it comes to car maintenance/repairs...ever. I dread it and usually the wait is long and the service is slow, but here it is AMAZING! Thank you Sandra! read more

ill go somewhere else i am appreciated for my business. the manager was on the speaker phone during a conference call and couldnt be bothered to stop and help me. i called the number on the website and he picked up while i stood in front of him and i asked for his help. he told me that he was busy and that someone else could help me. i went into the garage area and called out for anyone who could help me pay my invoice and collect my car but the other associate was on a personal call. the manager then stuck his head out and helped me after waiting about 20 minutes in the lobby. the mechanic isaac was super friendly and even discussed my issues over the phone the previous night. the manager while still playing his conference call for the entire lobby had my papers printed. the printer they use only printed half of my paperwork - so dissatisfied with this experience and i intend to yelp about it. there was no concern for my time or explaining my half-faded paperwork to me. read more

Last Saturday, I took my wife's car to get an oil change done. This shop was great over the past few years and George did always a great job. This time, service adviser Kevin seemed to be just a nice and took well care of me. He asked me twice if I don't want a premium oil change instead. I kindly declined and went with the standard S 27.99 instead. A few hours later, I received a call with a bunch of additional recommended parts and services. I agreed right away to replace the cabin filter and oil pan gasket for another $ 302.39. A bit later, Firestone calls one more time and now suggests to replace the just discovered and totally worn out engine mounts for an extra $ 344.- to which I agreed. On Sunday, I picked up the car and on the way home, I noticed the check engine light was on. I told my wife to take my car the following day so I could go back right away to get her ride's issue resolved. Kevin was already busy with another customer hence I had the pleasure with Damien. I explained him the situation and he quoted me between $100 and $200 to get the code reset. Funny guy, so I told him that I expect the car back by end of day without any additional charges. Well, I just got the car back and he wrote me down the two codes P0135 O2 heater circuit and P1456 Evapcontrol leak detection. Firestone would take care of the $ 150.- diagnosis cost. Also, he could order the parts and reschedule an appointment. I told him no thanks, where is George? He replied that George doesn't work for Firestone anymore. Oh, no kidding, I guess that explains the new customer experience in this dump. And by the way, yes the check engine light is still on and I will go to professionals this time. Lesson learned, ask for the person who provides great service and move on in case that person did. read more

Nope. Don't bring your car here. I brought my car here for a water leak, they said it was my water pump/thermostat/hose and I was told around 700.00. Well I called around and got a few quotes for 550+ so I decided to do the work. I picked up my car when Roy gave me a call, (he does give good CS service.) The next day there was water all over my garage! Guess what, it wasn't water it was COOLANT. Those morons didn't tighten the hose going into my radiator and it leaked all over the place. My husband had to fix it. NOW the serpentine belt was squeaking because it was contaminated from the coolant. They replaced the belt. I took it back a 3RD time because it still squeaked!!!! They replaced the "faulty" belt again. 2 weeks later it still squeaked and I took it back and they said it was my pulley so they replaced it for free. GUESS WHAT, still squeaking!! Then Roy says to me " it's your alternator" ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! I said I want my money back for the belt and labor, they gave it to me. They said my car was old, it's a 2000 and only has 110,000k miles. I took my car to MEINIKE on Hamilton and they changed the belt and fixed the problem. I don't even think I needed a water pump, just a hose. I took so much time off of work to bring the car back and forth, took uber etc. DON'T GO HERE read more

I actually was a little wary about going here after reading some of the reviews. I decided that I would give this place a try anyway based on the location. I could drop of my car and walk home. I was a few min. early for my appointment and there was no one in the front. Isaac, a technician saw me there and said everyone was in a meeting. He got the information he needed from me and my car and then said he would get someone for me. Isaac was very nice and professional and apologetic because there was a meeting. Again I was early so no biggie. James was the person who helped me after that. He apologized for the meeting and we talked about the car and what I needed. He was professional and courteous. I couldn't have had an better experience with the staff. The only issue was that my car was ready later than expected, but again, I wasn't too concerned because I know things happen and sometimes things fall behind schedule. They apologized for the delay. I would definitely take my car back to Firestone. I hope the ones that wrote negative reviews give them another shot. :) read more

My experience with oil changes and alignment has been very good because they do have good customer service. I'm a little suspicious of "oversell" of recommended services after a basic oil change though. Beyond that, I got the lifetime alignment when I bought tires from them. I took in my car to get the free alignment, but the next day after leaving my car with them, my car wouldn't start! So, who knows if this is just bad timing or their work. I'd say "proceed with caution" and know your "car parts" so you don't spend too much. read more

Have a life time alignment and made an appointment on saturday 8am. Got there before 8 and was ask if I want to get inspection, balance.... I said need only alignment and will wait for the service. Was told the service may take up to 2 or 2.5 hours. But it was the second car on the rack and is done at 9:10 and out there. read more

Beware, unless you want to waste your day WAITING! Competitive price on my new set of tires. Front desk staff was nice and courteous on the phone. I confirmed an appt at 3:00 and was tole it would only take 1 hour and half to change the tires. I should have known it was going to take longer as they had 4 cars on lifts and only 2 guys working. I arrived at 1:58 pm and my car was finished at 5:01 pm. In retrospect I would have paid the extra $40. to have the same tires installed by a shop closer to my home and could deliver on a time commitment. A waste of my afternoon waiting in the lobby of Firestone Tire & Service Center read more

Took my car in the other day as I had a wheel out of balance in the front. It was covered under my lifetime coverage for balance and alignment, as i bought the tires from these guys. I have been a Firestone customer for more than 10 years at the Santa Clara location; but I have bee taking my car to the campbell location on ocassions. Last Saturday I took my subaru for a rutine tire balancing, rotation and alignment check with a possible flat repair. I left my Subi, so they could do the work on it at their own convenience, about two hours after I left it, I received a call from Anthony. He informed me,... that yes, indeed the suspected tire had a nail in it, and i was told that the nail was near the sidewall of the tire, and that the patch was not holding air pressure in other words the tire was unreparable . I was quickly given the cost of a new tire; which was $ 176. After carefully consideration I told Anthony not to replace the tire; that I should check first my records to see if I had a warranty from the original place of purchase. I got there to pickup my car and I found it with the spare tire installed in my vehicle and the flat tire i found it fixed and inflated in the trunk of my car. I did noticed that the tire was fixed and holding air pressure. Then I took it to Calderon tire repair place over by Bascom, before San Carlos Street (Mexican tire place) I instructed a technician to check my tire, the one that according to Anthony at Firestone it was unreparable. Well, needless to say the flat was repaired, there was no damage to any sidewall of the tire; in other words....the tire was fine!!!! I was so closed to be scammed to fall victim of an unnecessary purchased. The tire was good with more than 60% of tread on it. I am glad that I acted fast and I had a chance to see the tire myself and I had a second opinion. Beware of such unethical practices. .. I am planning to report this to the bureau of better business. At firestone I was not charged anything when I picked my vehicle... I was dispatched swiftly and with minimum details about their findings. I had a feeling that something was going on..... read more

I always go to this Firestone because they actually keep their appointment times. So today I was there about 10:45, scheduled for 11a.m., they had me out by 11:20a.m.!!!! Very bad service. They damaged my vehicle both times I took it there! I paid 2000 for a radiator replacement and all my brakes done over two visits. The second time they damaged my drive train on their lift. They tried to deny it but a specialist confirmed that they did it on the lift and they had to pay for the repair. The first time they replaced the radiator...i had to take it to a private mechanic afterwards who found they did not tighten any of the seals and transmission fluid was spraying all over my engine and they did not even fill it with coolant! So all the labor and checks they charged me for was just a fraud. I contacted them and their corporate office about a refund on the labor charges (which i think is reasonable since they nearly trashed my transmission and everything is coated with damaging transmission fluid!) Nada. Hence this review, the better business bureau and ultimately small claims court. read more

It's hard to find a good mechanic. These guys have done me a solid more than once. If i remember, Francisco was really helpful. I took my car here for a 2nd opinion and they assured me the issue was with the tire vs. the shocks that I was originally told by a different mechanic. They saved me hundreds of dollars because the shocks were not the issue. I then brought my car in again since they helped me before and same thing...I went in for a 2nd opinion and they were able to diagnose the problem accurately. I would go back to them the first time next time...they are just not close to where I live now is all. read more

To say this place is shady is an understatement. Beware of the 10% discount deal for opening a Firestone Credit Card. They allowed someone to charge a CLOSED Firestone account in my name for a large tire purchase and I didn't know about it until it hit my credit report. The store manager and staff were indignant when I called about the situation. Thankfully the credit card company, Credit First, were professional and helped me get things worked out (letters to credit bureau's, etc) to fix the false credit ding. read more

I'm a car enthusiast and do all my own work, except a laser alignment which I don't have in the garage :) We have 3 vehicles, a lifted Tacoma, a lowered Miata and family hauling Sequoia. A lot of places will simply charge extra for modified vehicles and won't even attempt working on them. Not Firestone, these guys are actually interested in my cars and ask, "how long did it take you to install xyz part?" Even complementing how clean I keep the machine. Maybe it's because I'm a total car nerd but I enjoy coming here since the employees actually love cars, and in today's society that's difficult to find in shops with over pressed management, long hours, poor wages for techs etc. I have lifetime alignment for the Truck which I've used probably 15-20 times. The toe gets knocked out from hard off road use. The techs invite me outside to review the specs on the computer to see if that's what I want... wow.. who does that? If you show enthusiasm here the company will give it back. Stay awesome Firestone. read more

This place is total fraud... I came here for a regular oil change and left my car for couple of hours. A guy called me and informed that there is a nail in one my car tire, I asked him to wait for me to arrive there and take a descision... I was shocked to see the way it was inserted with a plastic piece that even doesn't have any scratch in my new car tire... seems as if they only did it and upon asking them to stop doing the repair they said that they can not leave the car like that... I had the flat tire service for free in my membership and I could have easily did it but they wanted to make money and pretended that they can not leave the car like that... Upon requesting to stop fixing it one of their guy told that he will do it without any cost this time and asked me "Don't ever come back here". I was very disappointed with this and thought of writing this review... is this your customer service? Is it a way of increasing your business?? I will never ever go back to firestone again. Customer since 1985 and they have lost me as a customer ! Called at 9:00 am and made a 3:30 appointment, with the understanding I get the tires done at 3:30 I have to be 100 miles away in two hours ! Leave work early Get there on time, told no problem, and at 5:00pm Nothing has happened with the Car, and they have parked it in the driveway where it can be hit! Manager Andrew ~ horrible at scheduling ~ Worse at customer service ! I watched a man pull in and have his car taken right in for an oil change ( into an open bay) , so Maybe if I where male I would have had customer service, And I told that to Andrew! I am told time and time again, they are busy, and need to wait for a bay to open up so they can put two tires on. No alignment just a simple undo the lug nuts put the tire on the rim balance and mount! At 5:00 pm I blew a gasket, I had just changed the flat in 10 minutes on the freeway, And I am a 50 yr old woman They pulled two jacks up and put the tires on in the parking lot! UNBELIEVABLE! Good thing I waited for a bay to open up! NEVER AGAIN ! read more

This reviews is a little overdue, but better late than never. So this rating is based more on the customer service rather than the work done for my car. I have been a customer for Firestone for 8 years and have been going to this Firestone location since i purchase my current car. About a month ago i had taken my car in for a standard oil change. I went to pick up my car and about an hour later noticed and issue. I immediately drove back to Firestone and informed them of my issue. After a quick review/investigation, Firestone had apologized and would take care of it ASAP. Roy who is the store manager had assisted me with this issue the whole way through in a professional manor. He was very on top of things and was always there to answer any questions i had in regards to the issue. After a few weeks my issue had been fixed/resolved and I couldn't be happier with the turn out. So i will be continuing my services at this location because of the customer service I had received from Roy. read more

I was the easiest customer in the world. Walked in wanting a set of new tires, could leave the car with no big rush to get back, willing to pretty much be at their mercy. Paid a pretty hefty price as tires are not cheap and after you pay for all the incidentals, you're out a good chuck of change but then again, its your safety on the road. Never felt like the salesman cared much about my business but then again, how exciting is it to sell tires. Picked up car and checked out my tires.....ehhhh....not much to really feel that excited about but then I realized why. I might be going out on a limb here and don't know if this is fair, but, here goes.....I spent almost $1000 and when I looked at my wheels, there was grime and grease all over the rims that was not there when I dropped the car off. It was VERY noticeable and kind of bugged me. Got me thinking "where is the customer service or pride in one's work that you want to present your best effort?" I went home and cleaned up the rims myself which only took a few minutes and made me think even more about how it should have been done before I picked the car up. A few days later I was getting groceries out of the back seat when I noticed the wheel lock rolling around on the floor. I totally forgot to check that they even put it back....which they hadn't. That's why the 2 stars on my review! read more

Having recently moved to Campbell, I brought my car in to this location for routine maintenance. The front parking lot is tiny, with only two parking places for customers. While my car was being serviced, a technician backed another car into mine, causing several thousand dollars worth of body damage. The technician apologized profusely and the manager (George) promised to get my car repaired as painlessly as possible. He agreed to have the repair work done at my preferred body shop, and to pay for a rental during the week of repairs. My car is now fine, but the body shop has is still trying to collect from Firestone two months after the incident. The body shop contacted me to ask if the check was mistakenly sent to me, which is how I learned of the situation. According to their notes, George frequently failed to return their calls, and he has now also failed to call me back after I left an urgent message. I would not recommend taking your car here - the parking lot is too small to really support a car repair operation, and it seems like my experience could easily recur. read more

The worst customer service ever!!!! Got tires installed on my f-350 a few weeks ago. They told me the truck would be ready at 2pm , truck wasn't ready until almost 6pm. Next day dummy light on my dashboard comes on and tells me tire pressure sensor fail. Took the truck back to the shop, they rest the sensors and sent me on my way. Few days later same dummy light pops up on the dash board. Took the truck back to Firestone and they tell me my tires are overinflated ( their fault cause I have not touched the air pressure) they deflate tires to recommended psi. Tell me I'm good to go and sensor will rest itself in 15-20 miles. I don't believe them so per the managers advice I go drive around the block a few times and dummy light is still on. I pitch a fit in the shop and force them to hook up the code reader to my truck to see what is going on. Sure enough one of the tire sensors fails on the code reader. They tell me it will be $80 to replace the sensor! Coincidence that my sensor was good to go prior to them swapping my tires??? Maybe, maybe not. 45 minutes later and more money my issue is fixed. They have no regard for customer service! You do not tell a pissed off customer to come back when their problem has not been resolved! They should have hooked up the code reader immediately. I will not be going back here ever again for anything and neither should you. read more

Icalled Firestone in Campbell on Winchester and talked to a gentleman by the name of Andrew and was told that they were open to 7pm 6 days a wk except Sundays. So, I took my 2005 pt cruisier after work to look at my brakes on 2/9/12 at 5:30PM. I was told they had the pads, rotors there and didn't need to order so, I waited until after 7Pm to be told that the pads were too thick for the rotors. but they haad the wrong wrongs not the ones that were for a PT Cruiser. They couldn't get car to move. WRONG PADS It is not pads for a PT cruiser they used ones in stock not ordered or anything . Made a screw up and wanted me to,pay for their mistakes. I advised them that my large red and white umbrella was missing from the back of my car but didn't touch tools So, they told me to bring back Friday 2/10/12 by Josh @ around 9am. So, their tech Marcus brought me to work , so they could try a second day.Than I was called again @ 2pm to be told can't get them to work because they never reordered any other pads. Instead they try to tell me that they were not the original bought new tires from Goodyear. . So, here we go again. They had me bring car back on Mon. 2/13/12. They had all this time to order correct parts. So, than I am told that I needed spacers beween calipers. So,Andrew told me he would write on paperwork that the spacer would work and I would not have any vibration,or shake my car. Than next thing I know some kind of woman district mgr told me they decided to not do the work after I'd been in there office not one, two but three times and now they say they cannot fix. This is beyond being unprofessional, and just ridiculous and lousy customer service. So, I was charged on firestone credit card $329.84. so, now they B.S. me with of well we put new rotors and they wouldn't charge me for them. They credited my account for the full amount. Than I asked for a receipt or box that rotors came in and non available. These are the same ones and I have had checked by another place "GOODYEAR Tires etc.I was told by several people that the ones (rotors) are not new they are scratched which they had to put the old ones back on the first night they worked on my car. Each time after that I brought my car back they never did a darn thing. What a JOKE they are. RIPP OFF... I was so upset and there were 4 people in their waitng area and I went off on Josh basically what a joke their Campbell shop is full of Dumb (?????). So, I would not advise anyone to go to this particular shop and since I have talked to others that hav e gone to their location there are many horror stories about this particular location @ 2120 Winchester Blvd. I pray that people realize what a ripp off and unprofessionalism and liars they are... I recommend that you don't go there. I have advised others whom have had problems there to go in on yelp and let the public know of all their bad experiences with this JOKE shop.....Than they had enough cohonas to ask if I wanted to buy a battery. They had to be on something! As far as previous negative input on them . They always offer free or exceptions when they know they screwed up. So, here now three days back and forth to work and getting rides to check on vehicle not to mention gas. ware and tare on the wheels, rotors no pads. what the heck? How can they fool all these people? Of course they are going to try to butter you up so you won't go in and complain about their non knowlege....... So, wake up America....Don't go there. The others were lucky..... read more

NO. I am fairly new to reviewing companies, etc on yelp and hesitant to give poor reviews. However this place deserves it and I will numerate why. Despite my recommendation to go elsewhere, my wife took her vehicle here to get her car realigned because she got a coupon for an oil change as well. She was then talked into purchasing their alignment package in that they will realign the car if it ever goes out of alignment again. Well, the car did go out of alignment again. We took it in and left it with them overnight. I drop my wife off to go pick it up the next day and she did not feel it was realigned. She had me drive it and no, the car was not realigned and she did not get any paperwork detailing that it was done. She then knew I was right and wound going to the mechanic I use whenever I have issues. I do not like this place. It is a dishonorable place. It gives small business people a bad name and I cringe anytime I drive by it. read more
