Tires Plus came in real handy when I need to do a last minute oil change to my mom's car. I ended up calling over 15 different oil change facilities in the area and even Walmart and Tires Plus quoted the best price. I was skeptical when I showed up since there were some so-so reviews on Yelp; however, the service exceeded my expectations. When I called they quoted a price of $45 and when I showed up they charged me only $20 for the oil change. I got some more work done because of their fast, good-natured service and also because of how cheap it ended up being. I would recommend this place. The few things that could be improved is their wait room. They have coffee and water as well as a TV and magazines to keep one entertained. Usman and his team are the "honest and expert mechanics" we have all been looking for. The entire team goes out of their way to make sure each customer is satisfied and receives personal attention. They seem to be able to expertly work on any make vehicle. The work is perfect and they explain every step along the way. I had a large repair list and Usman paid attention to every detail. I even had a small issue with a part they were not responsible for but the team diagnosed the issue and took care of it immediately to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the entire job. I went to Tires Plus after I got a nail in my tire. I originally had AAA put a donut on my car and the technician from AAA said I could probably get the nail patched for cheap somewhere. I went to tires plus because it was close and I expected for them to patch the nail and I'd be on my way. I waited for a while, then they told me that there was another nail in my tire and it was in a place where it couldn't be repaired. They also told me that I would need to by 4 tires since I had 4-wheel drive. I went against the advice and just got the one. I don't appreciate how they tried to take advantage of me going there for help and also, I don't know what happened with the second nail, but I think it's suspicious that the AAA didn't see it... be careful if you go here! read more

He even went out of his way to get the part for my vehicle. He is kind and does his job very well. He will go above and beyond to make sure you are pleased with your service. The actual service done on my car was perfectly fine. I got an oil change for around $27 which is reasonable! The staff were friendly and I was successfully able to make an appointment online. The 3 stars are due to the fact that it took an hour and a half to complete my oil change. I'm not sure if they were behind or if it is typically this slow, but it was highly unsatisfactory considering I did stay to wait on my vehicle (which they knew) and did not expect to be there for such an extensive amount of time for a simple service. I didn't receive any updates on my vehicle during all that time. I definitely recommend coming back to pick your car up at a later time if you go here. read more

My family has been a customer of Tires Plus for years and have never had a problem until now. I came in to get new tires. After two hours of waiting, they proceed to tell me that they didn't have the tires I had ordered and that they had another tire but with lesser tread mileage. However, they only had 3 of that tire. I told them I could go to another establishment and to just place my tires back on. She insisted that she could help. So I waited another 2 hours for the job to get done. Then, the young lady told me one price at ring out that another customer heard and it was $200 more when I got my receipt. Asked her about it, she said she at least price matched. I wasted 4 hours of my Saturday that I can't get back as an educator. And she said there was nothing she could do. This is unacceptable. read more

Dropping the ball: "Nick" who is "supposed" to be a "manager" failed to take accountability for the further damage caused to my mother who is a senior car! Staff put in an honest effort initially to replace a air conditioner compressor however, in the process of figuring it out, put a hole in the radiator! "Nick" refunded her for the cost of the compressor however, now she has to pay more to now replace the radiator at the dealership! "Nick" should at least offer to pay for the additional cost that exceeded the refund and any further damage caused. Instead he attempted to shift blame, pawn her off on another Firestone location...then had the audacity to say she now came in with radiation problems! So some how the mechanics missed that while trying to replace the compressor?? My mother gives credit to Cecil and Jim because they did provide customer service! But "Nick" shame on you... read more

I genuinely enjoy taking my car here. The staff is friendly, always takes the time to fully explain what is needed, and generally goes above and beyond. Example: when my car was making a strange noise the mechanic took me back and showed me the exact issue underneath and describe the options for repair; on the same visit they noticed there was an issue with my battery retaining charge and they went ahead and ran diagnostics to find the issue without charge or my having to ask since I had bought the battery there on a previous visit (it was then replaced, under warranty). They'll also match prices on tire and allow you to bring parts other than tires in for installation - I did this when I needed a wheel replaced from a pothole nightmare but was short on cash and it was really a lifesaver. The recently renovated waiting room with free coffee, complimentary chargers, and free wifi gives a comfortable place to wait for your repair (if you so choose) where it is easy to get some work done, and in my experience they always do their best to prioritize repairs for those waiting. When I chose to wait on a longer repair the manager came and checked in multiple times to let me know the status and estimated time left. While I had a longer wait on my vehicle than expected on my last visit (for a standard oil change), it genuinely seemed to be that they had been getting slammed with walk-ins since opening ( i saw 2 just dropping off) and it was a weekend day with smaller staff, so the increased wait was understandable. I went to errand after dropping my car off and went to the waiting area to wait until i was called since I was flexible on time - staff came to check in and told me they'd take my car back next so ultimately I still didn't end up waiting long anyway. read more

Horrible service, over priced, time consuming, and they don't know what they're doing. They put the wrong oil in my car on 2 occasions and overlooked an issue with the engine during the inspection that could've been prevented but had to be caught by another shop. I always have an issue with my car after leaving there wouldn't recommend bringing your car here. You're better off sticking with the dealership for what they charge. The receptionist lady who claims to be the manager is extremely rude and doesn't know what she's talking about. While visiting a friend, I returned to my car to find it had a flat tire. Under guidance from a family member, I made an appointment to have the tire fixed at this shop as he had very good service there and it was not far from my location. Of course not all flat tires can be fixed. A tire patch can only address a simple puncture and can't be used to fix any damage to the tire's internal structure. If you patch a tire with structural damage, the tire's weakness will result in a major blowout - very dangerous! It took some time to determine the source of the flat and whether or not the tire's structure had been damaged. I was very lucky that the bone that had lodged into my tire created a clean puncture to only the rubber and not the structure of my tire. 45 minutes later, my car was back on the road. Tire was patched from the inside, the tire had been balanced and all this cost far less than I had anticipated. I enjoyed my time at the shop with the store manager as well as with the tire technician. If I ever find myself in an automotive pickle in this area again, I would not hesitate to use this shop again. Check out the "Jar of Misfortune". It contains objects found in flat tires brought to the shop for repair. You will be very surprised - it doesn't take much to puncture a tire. I hope that everyone will be more careful what we place near or allow to drop onto our roads. read more

So apparently "Firestone" and "Tires Plus" are owned by the same company. I used to go to "Firestone ", always with an appointment. It always took them less than 30 minutes to do an alignment. Very disappointing that Tires Plus takes 2+ hours even with an appointment. This has happened 3 times. I am done coming here and will drive an extra 5 miles to go visit "Firestone " in Fulton, MD. read more

A couple of years ago I had a tire replaced here, but they put the wrong tire on and I started to drive away with a lopsided car. Another time I had engine work done and they forgot to put all the bolts back on the undercarriage, so it came off on the highway. A few months ago I got new tires and then had a flat today only to find my wheel lock key missing so I can't change my tire. I took my vehicle in with a slow leak in a tire. These clowns told me the tire was not repairable and that all of my tires needed to be replaced. They then gave me a price of over $1,200 and when I questioned why they are so much and that I could get comparable tires from another shop that I have used, they said, "we can sell you the same and match their price of $880!!!!!!!" I took the vehicle to the other shop and they were able to fix the tire AND I DID NOT NEED NEW TIRES. Other people I know took vehicles there had a very bad experience. Naresh confirms they have my tires (Kumho 225/50/17) and i can take my car in next day to get installed. 06/24/15 - Take the Car in. Ronnie (Store Manager) says there is no appointment. Assures he will get the tires installed in 24 hours. 06/25/15 - Call at 5:00pm to check status. Chris says they just started working on it. Should be done in the next hour. Calls back 10 minutes later and says they have the wrong tires. They received 16" tires. Then he says, they never received my tire and there is nothing he can do about it. This is the worst experience i have ever had at any auto shop in my life. Tire Buyer provided outstanding customer service by sending out a new set to another installer. read more

For me, that decision on their part almost turned fatal when my truck slid sideways on an exit ramp. I was looking in the area to service my car and stopped by TiresPlus to check it out. Even though its a chain store all of the them a different because of staff and the way they treat their customers. I would recommend this store because the staff was friendly and gave me prices for the services I needed done up front. Prices where reasonable and they do not try and over charge you. Unfortunately my tire balance was not done to my liking so I called them back to check it out. They fixed it to the way I wanted and did not charge me for a new balance. I have trust in the staff working their because they value the customer and workmanship. I will now take both my cars into this TiresPlus for maintenance and service. I had an appointment on Thursday, 3/28/19 to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. They said it would take about an hour and a half and that's exactly how long it took, which was great. They told me I needed new brakes right away and since I knew I also needed a belt replaced, I made another appointment for Saturday, 3/30 at 11 AM. Arriving on time, I asked how long it would take and the guy told me about an hour and a half to two hours. Ok, fine. I handed him my keys and went into the waiting area. At 12:35, my car was still where i parked it, so i asked when they would get to me (since 1.5 hours had already passed). The guy said that my parts had just arrived. Just arrived? Why weren't the parts there on Thursday? And if that wasn't enough time to get them, why make me an appointment on Saturday? So, on the most beautiful day of the year so far, I sat in Tires Plus and waited, and waited, and waited. Not once did the guy come to me and give me any updates or info. By 3 PM and completely ignored, I was more than irritated, Mocked incessantly by the sign in the waiting area that said "We're working hard for you!" it seems like they might have been working hard for everyone BUT me. Five hours after arrival and watching everyone come and go (even the people that arrived after me) my car was complete. I went up to pay and the final tab was $200 more than the written estimate given to me on Thursday. He did bring the bill back down to the amount of the estimate, but it was already like adding insult to injury. I had an appointment at 4 PM with a contractor doing work on a home for me, which I had to miss since I was held hostage. Now the construction won't start on Monday, as planned, but will be delayed another week. Thank you, Tires Plus. I appreciate your complete lack of giving a damn for other people's schedules. And after spending about $1,500 there in the last six months, I'll make sure not to make that mistake again.
