***REVIEW UPDATE: I contacted the email given to me in the comments by Firestone and today (3/1/18) received a phone call from the district Manager about the issue. To let me know he had personally talked to the manager of the store and given her my review to go over it with her employees. He sincerely apologized for the service I had received and let me know it was not acceptable. He was beyond polite and understood where i was coming from. I didn't except to be contacted be someone personally to address the issue and it was appreciated. While my experience as this location was not even close to standard it was very nice to have better customer service to fix the issues I had endured. I only have a 1 because I was forced to give them something. We live an hour away from the this firestone so we called prior to confirm we would be able to get an oil change, tires put on, and an alignment before they closed. They said yes. So we dropped my car off at 3pm. And was told it would be done by 7pm (when they closed). We got here at 6:30pm and my vehicle didn't even have tires on it yet let alone have the tire mounted to the rims. It is now 7:30pm and they JUST put tires on my vehicle. The little blonde girl up front has gone to the back several times to talk shit about my husband and I coming back in to one time saying "I hope they don't say anything to me about it, it will not go down well" which I think is HIGHLY rude and unprofessional. There is also an older lady that has been waiting for her vehicle too. Dropped off her vehicle yesterday and she is still waiting with us. The little blonde didn't even acknowledge this older woman even walked into the door. We just got asked if we still wanted the alignment we said yes that's another reason we came here. He said okay it'll be about 25 minutes. So not only have we been sitting here for an hour at this point but now have to wait another 25. This is beyond unacceptable. I have been using firestone since 2009 but now I think it's time to start taking my business elsewhere. If they weren't able to get it done by 7 that's fine but we should have been told that so we could bring it in a different day. This is just ridiculous. read more

Is it possible to give negative 5 stars? Our dear friends, very classy, very professional touring musicians, had their vehicle towed in after speaking to the managers there. Upon arrival, the managers notice that they were African American and refused them service... they did not offer any other suggestions or any solutions to refund or redirect the towing, and, even though no voices were raised on the part of my friends, they called the police because they suspected that one of the musicians might have a weapon in his bag after he had reached into his bag to get his cell phone. Fortunately, the police arrived and were very nice to Trae and his son, offering suggestions on other mechanics and a good towing company. Still, my friends were out the money they paid for the towing and had to endure a harrowing experience. If you are human and have a heart, do not give your money to this business. read more

Came to Firestone about 2 months ago for the first time, i thought great love them. Then the came time for me to go back and get two tires 05/11/2014. First they talked me into getting a tire that was more expensive than the ones that i originally wanted. They would have to order them in and it was a big story of how much better the more expensive tires would be for me, so i gave in and had them put on. So i go in to have an oil change on 06/29/2014 and they ask me if i want a courtesy inspection while my oil change is being done so i said yes why not. When i go back to pick up my car they told me i needed some stuff done which i knew it needed. i told them not right now money is tight for me but thank you for the advice though. They told me that my rear left tire has a 'impact bruise' and it was something that i needed to be concerned about. They said if untreated that i would explode on me. So i said i need to discuss with my boyfriend and i will be back. It turns out that the BRAND new tire that they had fitted for me less than one and a half months ago was damaged i was so upset. I had done 700 miles on that brand new tire. I told them I've done nothing that would have damaged it. I called the corporate office to find out a solution to my problem all they did was connect me back to the store that i had them fitted with, when the person picked up they asked 'oh did you're tire explode on you' i told them i would in to see them to fix this. I when in to the store that evening to get a new tire,i waited TWO HOURS. After waiting the gentleman told me that the tire was marked by 'mistake' that there was NOTHING wrong with it at all. Also they had my driving around with the thought that my tire COULD have exploded at any time This gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable, he took the time to explain to me what, where , when and how. He and a technician took off my tire and did a full check inside an out. He told me that he will replace my tire for free as 'customer satisfaction'. This place Sucks ! went in for a simple alignment 5 visits later still not done they stripped a bolt needed for alignment then had to order from a dealer then lost it ,then couldn't find another one in the whole USA, then found one put it in and told me all was good drove it and it pulled hard to the right and couldn't go over 60 mph with the vibration so bad , I have spent hours and hours and hours in their waiting room watching people come and go while my car was untouched these people are clueless and have worst customer relations I've ever seen do yourself a favor don't take a chance with them find another auto repair shop this one was /is a total joke ! ! read more

I took my Jeep Liberty Limited to this auto care center to have it checked to find out what was going on with a noise I kept hearing seemingly from the engine. I was totally in shock when they kept it overnight and still couldn't tell me what was going on with my jeep the following day. Fortunately for me, there are other auto care centers in the area. I had my vehicle picked up and taken to a reliable auto care center in the immediate area. My jeep was properly diagnosed with the problem causing the noise and the problem was resolved. I would not recommend this auto care center to anyone. read more

Don't worry about calling the day before to make an appointment. Called on a Tuesday and made an appointment for an oil change for the next day at 1:00 pm. When I checked in at 12:55, they said it would be, at the most, one hour. At 1:53, they finally got to my car and now at 2:42, an hour and 47 minutes later, I finally have my van done. read more

The Employees damaged one of my tires that they should have not been touching. I expressed I was not happy to the manager, Jermey I think it was. After some hesitation and reluctance he took care of not only they tire they damaged but much much more that they did not have to. I hope they can do a better job on the front end of service but I greatly appreciate the outcome of this instance just not the attitude for which it was delivered with. I have been a Firestone Custer for 18 years and while I probably will not return to this location am a fan of product and company for the most part. read more

We were on the the way to Florida on a day when the weather was around 100 when the AC ran warm. I called ahead to find out if the could squeeze us in. Don't go here. They try to up sell you and add things to your bill without you asking. The first attendant I spoke to added a $21 inspection to my bill without my permission and tried to say that if the inspection doesn't turn anything up, then I won't be charged the $21, but if something comes up, they will charge me. Sounds like a sneaky way to charge extra. He also didn't say what the inspection would cover; so he could tell me that my fluids are low and charge me an extra $21. He was then annoyed with me asking him to take the inspection off my bill before they proceed and change my oil. I took my 2000 Jaguar S-type to Okatie Firestone Complete Auto Care and never will again! They somehow managed to damage my hood. It had two dents opposite of where the hood supports are. It obviously occured opening or closing my hood. The manager (John Robertson) was rude and condisending when he told me he would not take responsiblity for the damage. I AM LIVID. Hurried to Firestone the Friday before Memorial Day. I had a tire leaking air (ran over a nail). Was told almost an hour prior to closing that everyone was already "clocked out" so there was no one to fix my tire. Several guys in uniform were standing outside smoking, laughing, and talking. So... they are trying to tell me the guys are just hanging around, off the clock, the Friday before a holiday weekend? Please. Once people clock out they are gone - they don't hang out. These people have absolutely no concern for their customer's safety. They had no problem turning me away to drive on an under inflated tire with three children. Of course, they couldn't be bothered to put more air to hold me over or put the spare on for me. What the guy working the front was able to do for me was to send me to Goodyear. Even gave me directions for a "shortcut". Firestone should be aware their employees are not only turning away customers, but happily sending them to their competitor. Thanks for the referral though. Goodyear was happy to have my business and fix my tire. Said they couldn't let me drive away with three kids and an almost flat tire. Save yourself the hassle and go to Goodyear (only about a mile away) They have a more mature and helpful staff. Firestone has a bunch of lazy kids with no personal integrity. They think the customers are stupid enough to believe that everyone is clocked out an hour prior to closing but remain at work hanging out. I'd give zero stars if I could. read more

Amazing Customer Service!!! We arrived there in a desperate state. We were traveling to Hilton Head for our Anniversary when our Hyundai SUV stalled out. We originally towed it to the Hilton Head Hyundai thinking we can have it repaired there. After leaving it at Hyundai for 1 full day, we received nothing from them but a headache, and a bunch of excuses. We took our SUV, not knowing what to do or where to take it for repair, as we were in another state. While driving the SUV away for the Hyundai dealer it stalled out again and Firestone was at the light. We pulled into Firestone and immediately was greeted with outstanding customer service and a concerned team of mechanics. Firestone was able to diagnose our issue and repair it in time for us to return back to Georgia on Monday. Thank you Firestone!!! read more

If ever in the Bluffton SC, Do NOT give Firestone Complete Auto Care your business, they are racist-ish and unfair, T-Stone's van had trouble and i had to get it towed Firestone in Bluffton, so before towing i called explained my situation to avoid unnecessary tow charges in case they wouldnt be able to fix, they gave me quote for the work, told me to have it towed there, as soon as i walked in, his tone changed, "we cant do the work" and i said, why? you should at least do what you said you would or YOU should be responsible to have our van towed back where it was, because YOU made me tow it here, "IM NOT GONA DO ANYTHING" in a VERY nasty tone, and acted as if he wanted to boar up at me, at that time i went to put my bag down in case he did come at me, and he says, oh you are going for something in your bag? (which btw if i did have anything in my bag it wasnt needed for him at all) im calling the police he said, he called the police as i was standing there, i didnt move, because i said i didnt do anything, ny son was with me, He described me to them as some black guy with dreds and gold teeth and that i reached for something my bag, police arrived, i was cool and i guess by my demeanor the police didnt feel threatened AT ALL, was very nice, i told him that he said i had something in my bag and did he want to search it, he said no, no need, which lead me to believe that he was a frequent police caller, then he said ill give you the number to another reasonably towing company to help get your van back, and asked me and rae to stay with the van and not go back in for peace sake, but they have the right to refuse and i told him i understood that and he left, (all officers are not bad) but i still feel violated, i had to pay ANOTHER $75 to have it towed back to where it was. by the way he described me, police could have shown up with guns drawn and could have ended real ugly, i would have been satisfied with a simple tow back, customers are always right, read more
