The only reason I'm giving it a 2 star and not a 1 is because of Chris. He was super nice and helpful. David on the other hand was rude and not understanding. They charged me $144 for a $50 part, $389 for the entire maintenance. David refused to go through my warranty even though it was covered by warranty, because: "They want me to sell my part for less and that's not what keeps the doors open." He then proceeded to tell me that he "doesn't tell McDonalds how much to sell their burgers." He did the work without telling me he wouldn't accept the warranty, then once I asked why, he said "I can take it out if you want." Went there with a slight rattle too and they didn't fix it either. I do not recommend this location. Absolutely horrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment and paid $1,500 online to have some tires installed only to show up and be told we don't do appointments and we don't have those tires in stock and that appointment was made through Firestone corporate and there is nothing they could do about it. I wish I would have checked the reviews prior to ordering as they seem pretty consistent at providing poor service. read more

I've never had a bad experience with this Firestone. They can work on lifted trucks with larger tires which is a plus because most shops in the area won't. I came in one day without an appointment for a tire plug and patch for a nail as well as a coolant flush. Took them like an hour and was done extremely well with the correct coolant. Lifetime wheel alignment for sub $200? Yup. Takes them less than an hour each time. Friendly service. Overall A+ read more

Sooooo terribly slow!!! Don't plan on ever stopping by to get your tire fixed and it being quick trip! They recommend making an appointment, but don't make same day appointments... i tried to make an appointment yesterday at 10 am to bring my tire in today and they were booked until 4 pm today so i figured i could bring it in and it might take an hour an a half or so. I dropped it off at 11:30am, ran errands around town, ate lunch, and was ready to get home. I called to check on the status at 3pm and they said my tire was next in line. I show up about 15 minutes later and watched them start and finish my tire within 7 minutes (plugged the nail hole), and waited an additional 15 minutes before someone checked me out b cause employees were talking... Last time I checked, a nail in a tire is something you can't plan, making next day appointments isn't an option. It's ridiculous to have such a long wait when there are bays open and available. Maybe additional help would be a great idea to the Benton location. Go somewhere else for any tire needs, pay a little extra for quicker and better service! read more

Came in for a bad tire and they showed me a list of things which needed fixed or maintenance. I said no to all except a inner tire rod which sounds kind of important. As I watched them replace the part, I noticed it was part of a rack and pinion I had replaced a few months back. I asked them about it and they said the part was bad. Afterwards I took the car and the "bad part" to another shop because it didn't set right with me. Gave them the run down and they basically told me I was scammed. They said this wasn't the first time they've been approached by other customers of Firestone with similar problems. Don't get me wrong, Firestone did a great job on my tire. And it was reasonably priced. But if you go here, don't get anything done other than what you came for. They will try to up-sale you and it'll just be a scam. Don't do it. Take it from me. I'm out about $200 because of it. read more

We arrived at 9am for tires , brakes , alignment and wheel bearing pack. The trucks front end had to be slotted to complete the alignment . We finally left the store at 7pm . I thought the issue was the service manager but I went in today and there is a different service manager and he had the same attitude as the other one. Do not recommend. I made an appointment at 8:00 am to have my oil changed, and had to call back at 1 to check and see if it was ready. It had been ready for a while and no one bothered to call and let me know it was ready to be picked up. Then, when I got there, I had to go find someone in the vehicle working bays to help me, and after asking for help, he was visibly annoyed and threw down the part he was working on yo help me.. visibly irritated that I asked for help. I also found out that they took it upon themselves to complete and charge me for the "complete care package" that includes tire rotation and changing the air filter, among other things, without asking me if I wanted this done. Highly dissatisfied and won't be returning. read more

Brandon, front desk staff, was extremely helpful, he offered to drive us to our hotel if we needed. Ortez, technician, stayed late specifically to fix our car (new breaks, roters and one new tire) and was finished in under an hour, even though we didn't have an appointment, or even call ahead. Coming through On I -30 , had a flat on my duelly truck , with a load of 3 horses on the 40 foot trailer attached to it , called them up and they had correct tire , the service manager was very nice and very helpful and the guy who changed the tire was very professional and courteous. This shop was very good , they bent over backwards to get me back on the road very quickly. I would recommend this shop to anyone read more

I've been having my truck serviced at this store for nine years now mostly in part to David Fox (former manger, now mechanic). I had a four o'clock apt. set with him to have my alternator replaced and 10 minutes out my truck died. David was kind enough to bring me a battery to get me to the store. I absolutely love this store; well, David Fox that is. If it wasn't for him, I would have to do business else where because the management there now is below average. *footnote: Chris Johnson (now at Chenal Pkwy store) is awesome too. Very unhappy customers right now. My husband brought our truck in yesterday a little afternoon. He left the truck knowing what was wrong and even told them which power steering hose was leaking. Return this morning was told they got the wrong hose. Then left, returned said, they had the hose would take 30 mins to put on. Then an hr later I'm watching and find out they are just getting the new part. So someone here needs to get their act together! I have been highly satisfied with this firestone in the past but about to change my mind. Mostly because this is the second visit I've been left waiting longer then I was told it would take!! read more

We got there at opening, and we're told it would be about an hour with 2 people in front of us. 2 hours later, we asked how much longer it would be, and were told 40 minutes. I would give this location a -1 if I could. I have an 18 yrs son, who could be a little more responsible I have too add, but he drives a 2013 camero, his tire was rapidly deflating so he took the Alcoa exit and stopped at Firestone. He ask if he could borrow a jack in which they he was told they could not do and it would be 2 hrs before they could get to him. Ok..that might be a policy! So he then ask if he could put air in his tire, which he was again told it would be 2 hrs before they could get to him. Definitely, not understandable! Really!! 2 hrs before you can let him use a air pump to inflat a tire? I hate to use the race card, but this is definitely a suspect situation! It would be better to just put up a sign that states if you're black, we will service you but we definitely make sure you are inconvenienced! Wow!! Thank God for Onstar! read more

On 6/7/18 I took my 2009 Jetta to Firestone auto repair due to the warning malfunction lamp indicator light came on. Firestone ran a diagnostic on the car and told my husband the spark plugs and coil needed to be change, this would cost $450.00 and if we spent $500.00 we would get a $100.00 off so they suggested cleaning the fuel line. So my husband told them to ahead and complete the work. I picked up the Jetta drove home and did not drive anywhere else for the remainder of the day. The light was off. No warning lights were on in the Jetta. On 6/8/18 I went out to drive the Jetta at approximately 11:00 and the temp light dinged and immediately came on. I sat in the Jetta and called Firestone immediately and they told me to drive the Jetta straight over which is less than 1 mile from my home. The sales rep stated Jesse the mechanic who worked on the Jetta the day before would look at the Jetta. The sales rep said there would be no charge due to when the mechanic worked on the Jetta he had loosened a clamp which caused the antifreeze to leak. The female sales rep said it only had to be top off as she was speaking to me explaining what happened. Though I observed them pouring a full jug of antifreeze into the Jetta, I was watching the mechanic through the window from the customer service waiting area, The Jetta was next to the customer service waiting area while the mechanic was working on it. I left there drove straight home which is less than 1 mile and no warning lights were on. I did not drive the vehicle on 6/9/18 Saturday. On 6/10/18 I went to drive the vehicle and the malfunction indictor lamp light was on so I call Firestone immediately and she told to bring at 7:00 6/11/18 Monday morning. 6/11/18 I drove the Jetta to Firestone and Jesse looked at it again and drove it. I don't know how far drove. Then the sales rep was whispering to the assistant manager and they told me they don't know what was wrong with it and they would refund my $552.00, I would need to take it to a dealer. I asked if it was ok to drive the sales rep said yes. Then my husband called Firestone and talked to the sales rep and asked if it was safe to drive he did not want it to over heat and the sales rep said oh it is ok. The warning malfunction lamp indicator light was still on when I left Firestone. This did not seem right I have never been refunded money on services provided on a repair ever. I called a Volkswagen dealership and was scheduled on Tuesday 6/12/18 at 10:00. The dealership was 17 miles away and the malfunction indicator lamp light was still on while driving the Jetta there. The sales rep called telling me the engine was ruined there was antifreeze in the engine and it would cost over $11000.00 to repair the Jetta. Firestone damaged my engine during servicing my vehicle and should be responsible for the damages. I have filed a claim. read more

I've trusted my local Firestone for many years to maintain my vehicles. Yesterday, I took my car in for a check before my annual road trip and they found something that needed attention and it would be a two hour wait. So I waited for two hours before they told me that I needed to leave it overnight. This morning I got up and waited and waited for a call before I finally called mid afternoon. Kayla said that she had left a message at 8:00 this morning that the car was ready. I had no such message on any phone. Turns out that she had called my work number (why, I don't know) when my business isn't even open today. There's no way I would have gotten that message. Customer service in general and communication was very poor on this visit. I spent a great deal of time waiting when it was unnecessary, all the while trying to recovery from being sick. I do want to give props to Curtis who went out of his way to apologize many times and be very helpful to me during this frustrating time. Not ready to give them up, but they need to "get it together". read more

Informed me that they will get to my vehicle by day's end, and would call when it's finished being serviced so that I can pick up the vehicle THAT DAY (the same day). Informed me of this two times (once when I checked the vehicle in and another time when I went back several hours later to check on the queue). 6:50pm rolls around and they call and said the vehicle is finished, but they're closing at 7pm and won't wait 10 minutes for me to pick up the vehicle, and I have to pick up the vehicle at 7am the next day! So this causes me to take my vacation time from work just because of their inability to call beforehand as the vehicle was being worked on in order for me to get up there by 7pm and have the vehicle back so that I could go to work! Seriously, avoid this place. read more

I went into Firestone in Benton for an oil change today. I waited 1 hr 49 min. Another gentleman arrived for an oil change 20 minutes before I left, and his car was finished 5 minutes before mine. 1 hr 49 min wait compared to a 15 min wait. I pointed this out to an employee who was not able to offer me any kind of an explanation for the grossly disproportionate wait times (and that he arrived significantly after, but left before me) . A, "We're sorry" would have sufficed, but I didn't even get that. I will not be giving this Firestone location any future business. I will also be instructing others to avoid this Firestone location due to extremely poor time management. read more
