I was in town for a conference at the nearby convention center and had time to kill for lunch so decided to try Firesides. It is in the casino in the back. It has a pretty cool decor themed to Boot Hill of course. I have to say the hamburger was one of the best I have had. Very juicy and fresh and tasty. I got a side of coleslaw to go with the hamburger and it was also great. Service was pretty quick but it was lunch during the day and not too busy.

I wanted a place to eat and our hotel rep suggested this place. My business partner and I both ordered the 6 oz filet. Side dishes included Baby Red Smashed Potatoes (I don't think they were baby red) & green beans. Over all the meal was tasty. Steak was cooked perfectly and I prefer mine with blue cheese crumbles so in had to order. Didn't think I wanted dessert but when our server ran through the options I couldn't pass up the Carrot Cake Our server was pleasant, on the spot and very energetic!

Thursday nights is Crab Boil! Some what pricey $25 but still worth it! Have some AMAZING rolls and cinnamon butter that comes out before the meal! The bar doesn't have any craft brew, just all the domestic norm! Had great service would have gave a 5 star if the prices weren't so steep! It's Dodge City not Vegas!!

This place is delicious! Not from the area but when I asked the locals a good place to try the Fireside at Boot Hill casino came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The waitress Adriana was very polite, kept our drinks full, and plates cleared, as we went on a Sunday during their brunch service. The variety was amazing, fresh sautéed veggies, delicious breakfast sandwich, prime rib (hands down the best I've ever eaten), seafood, the typical breakfast items, plus fruit, salad, a made to order omelet station and who could forget the fresh steamed lobster. Everything was so amazing, and cracking open our own lobsters was a fun touch to a girls brunch. Mimosas and bloody Mary's were good as well. There were several dessert options and to top it off, the executive Chef himself, came out and greeted us at our table and asked how we enjoyed our experience. This is not something you hear or see very often. He walked around and visited several tables and that level of passion and care for your trade is not something you see everyday. Also, loved the nice touch of fresh flowers on the tables, in clean water. I'm a florist so this is something I always look for when I try a new restaurant. Overall I was very impressed with this restaurant and can't wait to come back to try their regular menu during my next trip!

Awesome deals! Crappy service, $12 12oz ribeye? Sounds like a deal! Sides are extra though. Also home of the $9.99 16oz. Prime rib!

The ribeye stole the show. Ask for some lime wedges to balance out the amazing umami fatty goodness and thank me later. I also ordered a martini, which in itself should've been a roll of the dice, but it was awesome. Give it a shot. I think you'll find something to appreciate here.

Dad asked server what local beers they have available and she suggested Goose Island IPA, not local. He ordered beer and it sat on the bar for 5 minutes before finally making its way to us (we weren't going to help ourselves even though we assumed it was his). My water was brought immediately though so points there. Ordered the Supreme Quesadilla and the Dead Man's Handle (jalapeño poppers). The poppers were great. Dad raved about the chips that came with the quesadillas. Salsa was spicy, which we like. Quesadilla we did chicken. Not sure what makes it supreme. It was fine. Comes with salsa, guacamole and sour cream. The portions of the sauces were a joke. No lettuce or tomato or anything. Service after the initial weird stuff was good. She checked in on us and was quick with the check.

At the last minute - I felt I needed to provide a meal for our out of town guests. Being a more mature (old) person - I made the initial reservation online With ease. With time the reservation number got larger so I followed up with a call. There was no problem. By the time all my guests arrived the number was even larger and another table was added with no complaint or problem. My guest were made to feel welcome. A special menu was provided for my guests to make personal selections that included appetizers, main meal, salads and desert selections. The main meal had a selection of steaks, salmon, chicken and everybodys favorite - chicken fried steak. Each meal came with a protien selection, starch and vegetable. Every meal was prepared to perfection. The desert selection of a layered chocolate cake or cheesecake topped off the experience. Our server worked hard and efficiently to make everyone happy. Bravo!! Considering this dinner was so last minute PRIME ON THE NINE made each of my guests happy and made my job as a host so easy!
