Terrible. Over priced and just not good. The gauk is out of a squeeze bag. The "burrito" is just a glorified street taco. The beer was the only good part

Medium super sweet Horchata $3

Authentic Mexican spot! Spicy salsa and super sweet Horchata. Got a pastor, asada, pollo y carnita taco to go. $10, medium Horchata was $3! Affordable good food. There's a wait even when not crowded. They speak Spanish mostly and prefer to. This is a Spanish town given the National Beef slaughter house being the largest employer. Very clean. Easy to park. Tons of seating. Good for groups of 4-6. Great find in the middle of nowhere! Good service but don't expect them to be friendly, expect them to be friendly if you're Spanish and if not, you'll get the hurry up treatment lol!

Regular carne asada torta (add refried beans, TRUST)

We were suggested this place by a random man at the store. We are here for work and wanted to find the best Mexican place in town. This was where the man said it would be. Arriving, there was a pretty good line, but it moved at a good pace. I ordered a torta (added beans to it) and my husband ordered the taco plate with a michelada. Torta was a smaller sized one but it was FILLED. Wonderful. I didn't love it but it was definitely good and appealing. And the red salsa they give you with the chips was super watery and odd. But i did use that for my torta. Then next, my husband's tacos were pretty dry and boring for lack of better words. We are from Houston, TX so maybe we are a little too used to the REAL good stuff lol! But anyways he didn't even finish them. He did however really enjoy his michelada. He actually said he would go back just for that. Which knowing him, it's a big thing!

The staff here is incredibly nice and willing to do whatever to improve your dining experience. I had my doubts about Mexican food in Kansas City but they were disregarded quickly. Chips and Salsa came with the meal which is very classy and a +1 in my book. The #1 Combo of the Taco and Burrito was great. The taco was delicious, served on a corn tortilla, and the salsa packed some heat and flavor. The burrito was stuffed with steak, onions, and cilantro which made it tasty. Order a side of salsa to add to the burrito and you'll be in heaven. In order to combat the spiciness, I decided to order the Horchata. Let me tell you, this was the best Horchata that I have EVER had in my life. I am from Phoenix, AZ, and tried a variety/multitude of Horchatas but this tops them all. Best Mexican Food in Dodge City, KS. Maybe in the state, but I'll let you decide that.

Flautas but look nothing like pictured. Didn't include silverware to eat the rice and beans

Ordered food and the cashier was nice. Waited and waited then became alarmed when the people that arrived then ordered after us received their food. We ordered two items and they had 4 at their table. When asked they explained waiting on one of my two items. When receiving my order I had to remind them we ordered a bottle of coke but he seems to think this wasn't true and proceeded to look for a receipt then ask the cashier if this was true. Reluctantly handed me the coke. Never included napkins or forks with the to go order. Ordered flautas and it's pictured with cream tomatoes and avocado but when I opened the container the rice was covered with lettuce and tomatoes and only cream and sauce was included in the little containers. Missing avocado and I don't think the value of what I ordered was what I received.

Bean tostado

I got the bean tostado to go. The beans were really great! Ask for tomatoes and lettuce. The chips and salsa were some of the best I ever had.

I'm back!! It took me two years to work my way back to this part of the country and eating here was at the top of my list. They did not disappoint, this time I had the carnes platter and of course a large horchata! The pickled veggies and radishes from the free salad bar are not to be missed as well...spicy and delicious. I finished with some flan, which was also pretty amazing. And of course a large horchata to go.

Amazing!!

I arrived at Tacos Jalisco angry because I'd just paid $12 for flavorless, Whitey tacos at Vallarta. I was desperately yearning for some good Mexican food and silently pleading that the cook at Tacos Jalisco knew what they were doing. They do! The tacos were ....amazing. The toppings were onion, cilantro, lime and salsa. Not lettuce, cheddar cheese and a slice of tomato. The food was better at Tacos Jalisco. The service was friendlier. The toppings were tastier. The prices were lower. And there was some life in this place when Vallarta was a sad, vortex of vacantness. The real proof is that I had 2 bites each of 2 tacos at Vallarta then took them to go not sure I'd ever eat them. At Tacos Jalisco I got 3 tacos. I enthusiastically inhaled 2 of them and then realized I was full. I looked at the remaining taco, considered wrapping it up, but instead gobbled it down. Because it was so ....very tasty.

Flautas plate with beans and rice. Chips and salsa

Currently sitting here with more than half of my food still on my plate. Not very pleased with the outcome of this meal. Service was okay, I was ordering my food and the cashier continues to have a conversation with the man behind me and trying to take my order at the same time. Red flag number one. I asked for sweet tea they said they didn't have it so I asked for a coke instead. The cashier proceeded to ask me twice what I wanted to drink after I had already told her. Overall cleanliness of the place 6/10. Paid $18 for a flautas plate that came with bag guacamole sauce and bag sour cream. Also a squeeze of mayo, which I never had served with the flautas plate. I don't know what the beans are but they taste expired. The chips were borderline stale with watery salsa. Only thing good on my plate was the rice and coke but my stomach is already turned over, I can't finish it. . Not once did a server come check on me to see if I needed anything. 1/10 honestly overpriced and just plain disgusting. I'm from Texas where we don't come across food like this often. Highly disappointed.

Authentic Mexican yumminess. The ambience is kitschy and fun and the service was friendly. Get the asada.

Tacos are one of my favorites, and considering I'm in Kansas, I must say these are quite good.

I walked in and it looked like a very small grocery store. There was a counter with a hot bar and containers of possibly some food. I couldn't really tell what was in the containers but it wasn't very appealing. There were no tables and chairs. There was a woman standing further back from the counter doing some sort of prep at another counter. I just stood around for a few minutes trying to figure out what's going on. Finally, the woman walked over to me and asked something like what do you want? I replied that I had found this place on Yelp as a restaurant and asked if they served food because I hoped to get some from net to go. She said no. That was it. She walked off back to the counter where she had been standing. It was a really weird experience. Obviously, I left. I sat in the parking lot to look up the Yelp page again. I saw the reviews are older, so thought maybe the place had changed, but the sign still says the same name and has photos of the dishes they supposedly serve. Apparently, not to me. Maybe she didn't like the way I looked but it was one of the weirdest and rudest experiences I've had in a long time. I think the food would have been bad from sitting under a heat lamp for so long anyway. I'm probably fortunate I didn't eat from here. As I was leaving after finding somewhere else to go, a man drove up in a truck, parked, and walked in. I didn't wait around to see if he came out with anything. If you are in Dodge City, I'd skip this place. I'm not sure if you'd get any food.

Came here early in the morning and got a dozen fresh (hot) flour tortillas right off the grill. I…read moreshould have got 2 dozen, bc the tortillas are awesome. The Best flour tortillas I have eaten in a very long time. Also ordered a chili Verde burrito and a gringo burrito. Wow! Those burritos were good.
