Marlboro is halfway between my best friend and I, so we (us two and our significant others) meet up to watch Devils games here. We've had great experiences and bad experiences. Bullet points: - great atmosphere, tons of TVs. - food is absolutely delicious. - bartenders take a bit. You'll need patience. - but they look miserable every time we've been. This is at least the 5th time we've been here to watch a game. They were pretty busy when we sat down, so we tried to be patient. The girls got their drinks fairly quickly, but then the glasses sat there empty for a good 15 minutes before our group was paid any attention to again. The guys still had no drinks. It took about 45 minutes to be able to put a food order in as well. It's not always that bad, though. After we got our food the rest of the night was ok. The restaurant had also slowed down a bit. The southwest egg rolls were a little dry. The French onion soup was good. The Birria tacos with the pickled red onion was fantastic. My friends said the wings were perfect and the burgers were juicy. I asked for a ramekin to take home the consommé with the birria taco I hadn't finished, and the bartender so kindly went to the kitchen and got me a fresh one. Above and beyond! Four of us in Devils gear watched the game on a tv all the way on the other side of the restaurant. Granted, we didn't ask for a tv to be changed either. We felt like we couldn't. Everyone behind the bar looks completely miserable every time we're here, like one request could push them to quit on the spot. Blink twice if you need rescuing... They add a 2.95% surcharge for using a credit card. It added $7 to our bill. That alone is enough to discourage me from returning. Maybe next season.

We had the Parmesan crusted chicken and the rib/chicken combo. Both were excellent. Nice to see that the chicken was grilled and not fried. BBQ sauce on ribs had a nice spicy flavor- not too hot. We had the apple cobbler with ice cream for dessert which was OK. Beer served in ice cold glass - Nice.

Went for an end of year get together. We were about 17 people. The food was served very well and we had 4 appetizers, which was more than enough for everyone. We had nachos, chicken wings, southwest eggrolls and edamame. For the main meal, many had the salmon cooked on a wooden planks and was served with rice and a vegetable. The burgers came out the way everyone ordered and I had the shrimp wrap with an avocado, and a side salad which I enjoyed. The waitress knew exactly who ordered what. The staff was very accommodating. The inside has 2 large bars and sections that are divided. We were seated in the bar section that was more like a sports bar. The restaurant needs some updating but was pleasant. We all had a good time

Basic bar food. The servers are kind and efficient. Very laid back atmosphere, great for watching a game with the family or your friends. Just a good spot to watch sports, wouldn't come here for a nice meal without a game being on.

Went here for happy hour, great deals, good quality food too. Our server Gene was great, very nice & attentive, food did not take long at all. Ambience very cozy and nice as well. We got the margarita pizza, calamari and wings. Wings were perfectly roasted and the sweet Thai chili sauce was delicious!

Underwhelming. Wings were giant bread balls and weren't very good. Better off getting them "naked." The chili was good.

Nice place to hangout and relax but food is mediocre. Terrible burgers, ok wings, ok pizza. Go for the beer, not for the food.

The building is in the National Historic Registry. (Cool Ambiance) This Ale House is humongous with at least two to three bars. The interior was really colorful with upbeat wall to wall murals. In addition, you'll see some cool stuff like an old-fashioned telephone booth and signage. For fun, there's a small arcade area with timed basketball and air hockey in one area of the ale house. (Service & Food) Natasha was our wonderful and caring server. A bottle of cold water and glasses w/ice were brought to the table. We ordered soft drinks to start out. For lunch, we ordered a Grilled Chicken Avocado BLT and a Caprese Sandwich. Both sandwiches had wonderful fresh ingredients. Each platter came with a small air fryer container of spicy chips. The bacon on my sandwich was nice and crispy. Just the way I like it. : D The manager Nicole came to check in on our table along with others. We told her everything was great. Definitely recommend Asbury Ale House. In regards to parking, we parked on the street and used the mobile app. It was a weekday and street parking was tricky. Can't even imagine parking on the weekends.

The food didn't take too long to come out and the portions were good but the taste was just okay. We did experience a couple missing items (side of avocado and chimichurri) and brought this to the server's attention. For the chimichurri, we were told that it didn't come with the steak because they didn't have it anymore so they didn't include it in our meal. We should have been told this before the food came out or even right after it was set on the table. We were offered a replacement sauce (pico de gallo) just to find out that it cost extra and had to explain that it should be free as a replacement to the chimichurri. The manager was able to comp the pico and apologized. At the end of the meal, I was also surprised to not receive any acknowledgement that I was celebrating my birthday (which I marked on the reservation). Once I received the receipt, I noticed that we were also charged extra for the missing side of avocado and an extra sauce. This was not disclosed to us prior. I can see why this place would be popular due to the atmosphere but the food and service here would not have me coming back.

My wife had ordered the beef sandwich. We debated getting something off the kids menu for my son but he's only two and it was like $12 and we figured it would be worth just giving him some of what we ate and that actually sufficed. If your child's older probably would make sense, but for a little one, juice isn't worth the squeeze.. The food came out pretty quick, and it was really good. I really liked my Ruben. It was a closed face sandwich but they put a fair amount of meat on there which you can't complain about. The inside of the place was clean and what you would expect of a bar. The sit-down sitting area didn't seem too large but but large enough and we were there. We had the section to ourselves. The bar is actually pretty large and has amplementing in it. All in all, not a bad stop. If you're in the area it would be worth checking out.

He told us everything is made fresh and when he said the turkey and roast beef was made in house I had to try their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which was made with their roast beef. Well, it was fabulous one of the better ones I've tried served with fresh cut fries and a pickle. John also mentioned the Tuna Melt was excellent so my wife gave it a try. Let's just say he didn't steer her wrong, she loved it. Got it with fresh cut sweet potato fries also very delicious. This place will definitely be a go to for us every time we're in the area.

It had blackened steak bites, fresh pico, and cheddar jack cheese, served inside crispy lettuce wraps with a side of their special rice.
