This project involves a new S.S. liner and brick/mortar work to ensure a safe and strong woodstove retrofit. Photos attchd. Just had a first test fire, and all is safe and strong. C.G. completed another job of complete rebuild of the firebox in living Rm fireplace, and new spring-loaded top cover up on the roof. 2 years down the road; everything is working great. No buying wood and hoping it's seasoned. We wanted a specific design similar to our current fireplace doors, and the salesperson helped us find a special order in a catalog. The fellow that did the site assessment was excellent, took meticulous notes and paved the way for an easy installation. The installers were relentless and there's quite a bit to the install - not a task I would attempt myself!
