However, they claimed they couldn't perform the sweeping/cleaning due to a blockage and wanted to charge $295 per hour to "unblock" the chimney--without providing any estimate of how long it would take. Isn't clearing blockages part of the sweeping/cleaning service? Naturally, we declined. What's worse is the company then tried to charge us for services they didn't complete, citing transportation costs (a 20-minute drive from Pataskala to Gahanna). Let me be clear: I never agreed to pay for transportation, and I will not pay for services that were not performed. They could not provide any evidence of me agreeing to these additional charges. It seems they rely on customers not knowing their rights. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company. Save your money and find a deal on Groupon instead!
