I thought I'd make a 20 something min walk from my office to go check out this location for some lunch. This shop is pretty small compared to the Markham one. It's got like 6 tiny tables and a counter out front. The shop itself is attached to a business building on the ground floor. They have a huge takeout basket which tells me most ppl come in to pick up their orders and go. As I was scrolling through the app I saw an offer for a $18 large sub combo which came with a large sub, a medium fountain drink and chips or a cookie. I got a large new york steamer (brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo, italian dressing) on white bread w/ caramelized onions, caramelized peppers, lettuce, tomatoes and extra pickles. Opted for a chocolate chip cookie. Their drink machine was literally out of everything except regular coke. Luckily, I (and another customer) alerted the manager who graciously gave us the bottled beverage of our choice and apologized profusely. That would prolly be the main nitpick in this review is making sure the drink machine is replenished throughout the day. Otherwise, my sub was fantastic as usual. The cookie was nice and chewy. As far as chain subs go, I don't think any other place holds a candle at the moment. Yes, the price is expensive as it ends up being in the $20-30 range but they PACK your sub to the brim so that you feel like you got your money's worth (no dry meat either). You are guaranteed to be full and every bite is delicious. I just wish they opened more locations up north in the GTA!

Surprisingly very messy - possibly because of all the melted cheese and sauce. Meatball sub - delicious, tender and flavorful meatballs in a marinara sauce on the sub. As before vegetables were fresh and the bread is soft yet holds up against all the filling. French fries - surprisingly really good. It's a vertical crinkle cut so the ridges are vertical to give it more crispiness. The sauce is great with the French fries! Price: Definitely on the more expensive side of things when it comes to subs but quality and taste are really high. The quality is there, and they don't skimp on fillings/toppings. I ordered takeout through the app so I could get a deal - there are lots of coupons within the app. My order was ready for pick up at the requested time. They have a hot sauce bar in the shop - about 20 different hot sauces to try, I ordered 3 subs - they each come with a tasty pickle spear. Here they are in order of preference: - New York steamer was the winner. It was piled high with corned beef brisket and pastrami and worked well with the mustard and mayonnaise (maybe a touch less mayo next time for me). Note that if you're used to eating low sodium meals, you'll find this on the high end of acceptable saltiness. - Pepperoni pizza meatball. The meatballs were decent quality as well, not mushy, though hard to eat for a little kid as a whole meatball would come out with each bite. The pepperoni is a bit spicy so some people might be sensitive to that. I would have liked more marinara sauce but that is a personal preference. - Italian. It was overwhelmingly sweet, mostly from the honey ham. Once I took out the majority of the ham, the flavours were much better balanced, though then I could taste that the bread itself was a little sweet. On one of our visits our order was wrong, we were given two Hero's instead of a Hero and a Club. However before I could realize what had happened the cashier was right at our table apologizing for the mistake, and not even 5 minutes later the person who was making the subs that night came to our table and apologized and made up for it! This place does not have a separate section to pick up online orders. You basically wait in the same and only ordering lineup. A woman behind the counter spotted me. I said that I had an online order and stated my first name. She nodded and grabbed my order. She handed it over to me. I thanked her and left. I safely stowed my food like my life depended on it. I then drove home. After putting away my groceries, I had dinner. I started with my assorted sub. I still have a soft spot for this sub. It's the first one that I ever had at Mr Sub and I love it. I love all the deli meats in this sub. The mozza cheddar bread was delicious. I tend to put sliced cucumbers in my subs. This place was super generous with the slices, which made me happy.
