Tip: Earn A&W rewards with every purchase. You can redeem them towards food and drinks…read more For many years, I have visited the Petro-Canada gas station attached to this A&W. This gas station tends to have slightly cheaper gas than others in the area. I had never visited this A&W. I put an end to that streak after work on Wednesday. A&W has root beer floats for a limited time. I love floats. I make them at home, but it's a treat to have one when I'm out and about. There is currently a deal to get a root beer float for $2.99 through the A&W app. I took advantage of it by getting one. The cool thing is that you can customize the pop in your float. I could have done a Diet Coke or Sprite float. I went with a diet root beer as my base. The vanilla ice cream remains the same. I paid through the app. I had to create a new A&W account, as my old account used an e-mail address that no longer receives new messages. It was nice to have christened this new account. I drove over to this store, which didn't take long from where I was. The catch is that the drive-thru is behind the convenience store. I ended up figuring out that the entrance to the car wash is also nearby. Once I saw the entrance to A&W's drive-thru, I was good. I approached the order area. I got a woman's voice. I let her know that I had an order under my name. She saw that it was for a root beer float and said that I could approach the pickup window. At the window, she confirmed that I wanted a diet root beer. Yep! I got my root beer float. I thanked this woman and wished her a great day. She reciprocated. I dipped on my float as I continued driving home. When you hit the drive-thru, you see the A&W patio. It faces Langstaff Road. My root beer float was excellent. The ice cream was in the form of a hockey puck. It was brilliant in that it melted uniformly. It was creamy and worked so well with the cold diet root beer. I want another one. I wish root beer floats were permanently on the menu. I loved my experience here. I'll be back when I'm in the area. (327)

I noticed that this TImmy's was a combo store with Wendy's and made a mental note to visit the latter. Last Saturday, I was in the area and decided to get a drink from Wendy's. I hit the drive-thru. I love Wendy's. Its menu has a lot of variety. When ithe weather heats up, I tend to grab a salad more than a burger. I noticed that the strawberry salad was back. Just above the salad menu was a new watermelon lemonade. It sounded delightful. I got a friendly male voice on the other end of the speaker. I ordered a medium watermelon lemonade. He said that I could come up to the window. I had my Wendy's rewards QR code scanned. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped to pay. Done! I got my drink. I thanked the man and left. I didn't get a straw. Luckily, I had an extra paper one in my car. This drink was yummy. At first, I tasted watermelon. As I kept on drinking it, it was more on the lemony side. I like both, so I was good either way. Maybe I needed to stir my drink. I'd get this drink again. It is on the sugary side, so it won't be a daily habit. Service was excellent. I look forward to dropping by to get food next. (233)

At the time, it was one of my favourite burger. On this visit, we ordered the Holy Chuck and The Big Chuck. Both burgers disappointed, the Holy Chuck was simply too meaty. The Big Chuck was extremely soggy, drenched in sauces. For the price, we expected a better burger.....

They recommend not putting any other toppings and they are right, that's all this burger needs! Any other toppings and you won't experience its true taste. I usually ask for a "single" because two patties are too much for me. The fries are good. I've had the white truffle mayo dip for the fries. I have also tried the Greek fries which is a big portion and meant to share. What can I say other than, DELICIOUS! I did try the Holy Cluck... however, the chicken itself had no flavour until I got to the middle where all the toppings were, then that gave it flavour. It was too big... bigger than the bun. I don't recommend the chicken but the burgers, yes! They serve a variety of milkshakes, a funnel cake and other things. If you feel up to the challenge, they have a "Go Chuck Yourself Challenge." You have to eat a Chuck Yourself burger and drink a milkshake all in 6 minutes. If you beat the best time, they will pay for your meal. You get a t-shirt and your pic and name go up on the wall of fame. Guys! You have to see the size of this burger.... I really don't know how people do it!

Hello foodies ...WARNING !!!! it's very rare that I leave such a bad/negative review , however this…read morerestaurants customer service and the care they took in thier food prep was an outer disaster and notably the top 3 worst restaurant experiences I have had this year. I have been to thier location in Mississauga and the experience there was exceptional in every way....But this Hwy 7 location close to 427 hwy was a nightmare and I will never be coming back to this location ever again !!!! FOOD 2/5  let's start with the food prep the middle aged afro-American man making my sandwich was dropping pieces of smoked meat on the counter on the scale then putting it back in my sandwich ..then he only put on one glove yet he was touching my sandwich with his hand that had no glove.  The food was thrown into container so carelessly that the coleslaw container lid was not closed and all the juices spilled out and soaked into my  sandwich bread all wet and soggy. The meat portion was decent but I did not enjoy the sandwich on soggy bread and the coleslaw itself was horrible in taste possibly not fresh . The stinginess at this place is off the charts!!! I asked for a pepper instead of a pickle and I got neither with my sandwich ...at the other locations you always get a pickle or hot cherry pepper with your sandwich ...then I ask for some mustard and she gives me a small plastic cup with less then a half of a packet of mustard in it as shown in my picture with a boat load of attitude on top of it. I got no napkins and no fork or spoon to eat the coleslaw with I had to return inside restaurant and ask for one that's how stingy this restaurant is with their customers. SERVICE...0/5 Horiuble service , attitude !attitude!!From the moment I walked in, the white middle aged lady does not know what the word smile means and greeting your customers in a friendly manner...she seemed to have an issue and attitude with everything i ordered . Extremely rude . Unfriendly and had no clue what customer service means .. This was a classic book example 101 of what not to do or how to treat your paying customers .for a sandwich and a drink with nothing else it cost me $22 plus tax so I would expect much better service and quality in their food prep ....the owner should fire these workers and hire new people cause I surely wood .  Stay away from this location not recomended at all!!!

Ordered the specialty burger with onion rings, made my allergy known, and they brought out all new utensils and gave the grill an extra cleaning. Very much appreciated by myself. The onion rings were perfectly done, stayed crispy. The burger, though... oh, the burger... Montreal smoked meat on the burger, with caramelized mushrooms, peppers, the usual garnishes, and their special sauce... It was the one of the best burgers I have ever had the pleasure to eat, and I actually raved about it to my co-worker. Top notch service. Fabulous food. Will definitely go back.
