Every time we have eaten at firehouse subs the sandwich has been great and we love the choices at the soda machine!

Always a favorite and they do a consistent job putting out great sandwiches. Hook and Ladder is a classic! If you have kids get a fun free fireman hat for them, all our kids like them even the older ones. read more

What to feel invisible? Come here! I walked in at 8pm on a Thursday and there was no one in front of me in line, the kids working didn't even acknowledge for 2 solid minutes while I was waiting at the register. Then it took them 10 minutes to actually get the food ready. $9.50 for a sandwich is outrageous anyways. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This is a horrible lay out of a place. And the veggie sandwich was a complete rip off. Just lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers. Waste.

I absolutely love this place! The subs are so flavorful and loaded with meat unlike subway where you basically are eating cardboard for bread. They have a great selection of sandwiches and salads. Loving their new Hearty and Flavorful menu. Also ll if the employees are helpful and awesome. I totally recommend this place especially if you have a big appetite. read more

I would actually rate the food a 3 or a 4. My issue is with their employees. There were three girls at the register when I ordered (which it took me about 5 minutes to even be able to order because they were all to busy having a conversation with some friends that had just ordered). After I had ordered they all just stood there til one of them finally said "well I guess I'll make it". So nice that they were so excited to do their jobs. Then it took much longer to even get the sandwich than it should have due to them continuing to be more interested in their conversation with their friends. I've been there other times where the service was far better. If this had been my first time I wouldn't bother going back. I felt like a burden and not a customer. read more

I was turned off by my first visit some time ago because I felt like the price point was simply too high for the amount of food I received, but recently I decided to give it another go. This time I decided to get a footlong sub because I was disappointed with the smaller sub last time. First off, the ordering process is really simple. There's the typical numbered combos, but after you've chosen one of those there's a visual list of default ingredients right there next to the counter. You can just accept them all, or tell them to leave off a few. Honestly, just having the picture and names of each ingredient so close just impressed me. Much better than squinting up at a menu board. The staff is quite friendly. I asked them "what's good" and instead of tripping over themselves and going "durrr, I don't know" as so many fast food workers do, they immediately gave me some options they enjoy. Plus, they gave me an extra pickle for literally no reason one time. That alone got on my good side. Then there's the sandwich. So far I found I really enjoy the #1 which is called the "Hook & Ladder". Just to warn you...this sandwich is not cheap. This ain't Subway. There are no deals to speak of (other than their app, but I'll get to that later), so it's going to be 9 bucks without the combo, but damn is it worth it. This sandwich is warm, there's plenty of meat and good bread. The pickle spear that comes with it is excellent as well, and I've always said you can judge a place by the quality of their pickles. Then there's their app. Sort of disappointing. Simply signing up with it can get you a free drink, but the sign up process is kind of lengthy. Then you're supposed to input your phone number into the card machine at checkout to accrue reward points, but the last time I went it didn't recognize my number, which was quite frustrating. In closing, Firehouse Subs is a bit pricey, but I believe it's justified by the high quality level and ample portion size. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who just wants to experience an excellent sub sandwich. read more

I go to this St George Firehouse Subs every other Saturday night for my splurge night! They are SO SO SO good! I ALWAYS get the best service! I ALWAYS get the BEST sub! The place is ALWAYS clean! Most of the time this place is hoppin with crazy business and they still always make me feel special and I love to eat at this location. I have been to others in other cities and its just not the same. Best Subs, Best Staff, and Best Location! Great job to Management for always going out of their way for me and for the other customers! You are amazing!! read more

The sandwiches are good and produce fresh. I like this restaurant except for two things. The order line hides the drinks and condiments. When trying to get a drink you have to fight with the order line. There is a good space in front of work area for the order line and does not interfer with the drink line. The drink area is dirty as no one wipes up the counter. read more

Wow! When I went into Firehouse subs I immediately felt a sense of belonging and love! As soon as I entered the firehouse property I was greeted by two lovely young men named Jed and Will! They welcomed me with a funny "Welcome to Firehouse Subs" song and warm smiles. When I walked up to the cash register a big young man named Reece complimented my outfit and asked me what I would like to order. He was very helpful and patient throughout the whole process. The whole crew made and delivered my confusing order swiftly. Once they handed me my food, lo and behold my sub was perfect. Absolutely perfect. I took a bite and I heard a chorus of angels singing and bells ringing. After I was done eating, Jed, the young man working there, offered to help me clean up. Very very kind! On the way out of the building they all said "have a great night!" That was easily the greatest restaurant experience I'd ever had! Made the rest of my day so great and I definitely want to go back when those guys are working! read more

If you're looking for fast food subs, then go somewhere else. The price is a little higher than most sub shops, but the old adage "you get what you pay for" comes to mind. They make it fresh n the spot and you get a lot. Mine was so big I had lunch and dinner. The best part is the atmosphere. The shop is done with a firehouse motif and it is cool, red and steel all over the place. And a super bonus, the 200 plus flavor Coke machine was AWESOME. It was great how you could mix flavors to make whole new drinks. Personally, I'd love to be able to fill a 2 liter with my own flavor to take home. Would definitely visit again the next time I'm in town. read more

I've got to say I was extremely disappointed with Firehouse Subs. When I went into the restaurant there were two people in line before me. One ordered a single sub, and the other ordered two subs. Since I hadn't been to Firehouse Subs before I took a few minutes to order, but I ended up ordering two subs (one for my wife and one for myself). So far so good, right? That's what I thought too. So then I went and sat down and waited for my subs to be made. And I waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. The two people that had ordered before me were also still waiting a full 10 minutes later! The employees were moving at glacial speeds (seriously!) and they didn't seem motivated at all to get anything done at all. When I mentioned that it seemed like things were moving a little slow, they didn't even bother responding. The lady that had ordered right before me was super-irritated as well, since they didn't seem to be getting *any* subs done. Well, after 20 minutes (yes, 20 minutes for a sub! in a shop that wasn't busy!) my sandwich was ready. Unfortunately when I open it up to eat it, it was very very soggy, had very little lettuce or anything else on it. The sub I ordered was a Ham, Turkey, and Bacon sandwich, so there was no reason for it to be soggy, but the bacon looked/tasted/felt boiled, as did the other meats. It was disgusting, and I threw out more than half of it because it was really just no good. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This date that his happened was August 28th, 2015. read more
