While I had been disappointed at first by the service on the phone, I recognize that they had someone training and it's hard to balance all of the orders they get! The owner actually called me back when I hung up after being on hold for a sec, which is absolutely going the extra mile. I was already on my way and going to place that order but gosh he was so awesome! Rare anymore these days that anyone lets you try anything before you get to buy it and the owner let me try their chicken salad (since I was skeptical) and they had run out of chicken breast for the day. I really try to stick to mainly eating chicken, but the owner convinced me to try some of their bacon on top of it and it is one of the best sandwiches I can say I've had. I went up to the register with my father who is clearly above age and myself (a 24 year old female), we had put our items down on the register. When the cashier looked at me and immediately stated "I need to see your ID." in a rude and condescending tone - I would like to note: Kansas law states: "Kansas has an exception permitting the furnishing by a parent or legal guardian to a child or ward" (even though I am of age) - I then showed the gentlemen at the front my ID and then proceeded to pay for the alcohol. I stated "it's a free world" when asked by my father why I paid for the alcohol he was intending to pay for. And the gentlemen at the front responded "for now." Which I took as a very rude and inappropriate response. Will not be returning here with my business ever again. Hire better people to sell your product.

They've been there a long time, but I never had the occasion to actually stop in. They were busy, but the line moved quickly. They're efficient. After waiting about 5 minutes, I ordered 6 bagels and two schmears to go, and when I got home, we toasted a couple bagels and schmeared them up. We were so pleased with the food. The bagels were fresh and delicious and everything we wanted. Put bagels at other places to shame.
