Horrible customer service + lackluster food + overpriced = never coming back I walked into this place sometime around the mid-afternoon, after most people have had their lunch. As expected, the place was not packed at all. I walked up to the counter to check out their menu and decided to get a large roast beef sandwich...it came out to $10. Ok, a little more than I was expecting to pay, but that must mean the sandwich is really good, right? Wrong. Before getting to the food, let me go on a tangent regarding customer service. So after I ordered and paid, I was expecting to get my sandwich in a couple minutes and be on my way...after all, I was the only person waiting and it doesn't take long to make a sandwich. So, I'm waiting and waiting...5 minutes pass, then a maybe a couple minutes more. I look over at the counter and see the guy making something, which I think is my sandwich, so ok, I guess it just takes a while to make a sandwich for whatever reason. Well, not a minute later, I see the guy put the food he's prepared on a tray and walk it out to a table where two of his co-workers are sitting, clearly identifiable by their work uniforms. All that time, he was making his co-workers' lunches and neglecting the customer. HOW RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! (if management wants to know who was on shift, check my pic of the receipt for date and time I was there.) More than 10 minutes after paying for my sandwich, I finally got called and picked it up. I took it home and dug in. Well, what can I say about the sandwich? Ok, it wasn't horrible...I would put it on par with Subway. I wasn't expecting a hot sandwich...but maybe that's how they do all their sandwiches, I don't know. The sandwich had too much mayo and the heat had wilted the lettuce. The flavor was boring...I got sick of eating it after the first half and decided to put the rest of it in the fridge, minus the lackluster veggies. Strangely, when I had that other half later that night, it tasted better cold. Not what I'd call a $10 sandwich. Anyways, I may try Firehouse again some time, but not at this location. That horrible customer service experience will definitely keep me away. read more

So now that I have been here twice, I feel it's fair to write ever review. I don't ever judge of place when it first opens her the first time I go there because their service and food might not be up to its potential.. That being said I went to firehouse yesterday, ordered three combo meals which were decent value when I got home to eat my sandwich it looked like somebody stepped on it and dropped it. Meat was off the very soggy bread. Couldn't pick it up, it would just fall apart. All the meat was in a ball. Pretty BAD. I give them two stars because the store is clean and organized. What a disaster. Made our sandwiches totally wrong--which we ordered to go, so we couldn't really justify driving all the way back there to get them remade. We have been to this location dozens times, but so much turnover. The person taking our order couldn't understand a word we were saying. Never tried this place before. My boyfriend and I always wanted to go and we finally did. First off, the prices are outrageous for what you get. It was 10 bucks for a combo meal. I ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich. It sure looked good in the picture. I get it and it they basically put about 1/2 a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on it And it looked nothing like the pictures. Wow! I could have made this sandwich at home for half the price. They slapped some turkey lunch meat on some bread with lettuce and tomatoes. Jeepers! What a find! NOT! Second, what makes their food better than subway or Togos? Actually, I have to say that I would rather eat a Togo's sandwich. Absolutely nothing special about this place. Great sandwiches. One of the best I've had but 2 stars because of service. Expect to wait 20-30 minutes if you ever order something here. They take forever to do anything. Nice people but very inefficient when it comes to making food. read more

Today was my first time visiting Firehouse Subs, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Chloe had a delightful smile from the moment I stepped in and out of the restaurant and really enhanced my Firehouse Sub experience. Good food, amazing service. I will definitely be going back soon. read more

This place used to be great! Best sub sandwich I've ever had! Lots of meat and lots of flavor! I get the beef and cheddar every time. Unfortunately, something happened to the quality. Bread is awesome, meats are uber tender and the plethora of hot sauces are a super cool addition.

A delicious step up from your Subway and other sandwich chains. The sandwich is flavorful without any condiments but if you choose to add some~ you have an array from hot sauces to pick from. There's a good ratio between the bread, sweet honey roasted meats, and add on's. Won't be going to Subway anytime soon after eating here. read more

I've been coming here for a year now. I really enjoyed the club sandwich and the meatball sandwich. They have one of the best meatball sandwiches I've ever tried. I wish they had better pickles though not the freshest. Employees are always nice to me & there is sitting inside that makes you want to mingle with other people. read more

Arrived Very close to closing time. Staff was cleaning up getting ready to close up and go home. I wasn't expecting much but was greeted with a cheerful "hi can I help you" and a smile. I've never been here before but the cashier was very helpful in explaining their menu and all their options. I ordered an Italian sub and she suggested I have it toasted which is apparently the normal way Firehouse Subs are done. It turned out really good and I enjoyed it. read more

Outstanding food and service. Been here twice and I was totally satisfied with my meal and the service. My educated assumption is that everything tastes great, so go nuts. They have a really cool fountain drink machine with a crapload of different drinks. The restroom was in excellent shape too. This place has better subs than Subway and Quiznos, for sure. To be honest, I never really gave a second thought to visit this place but my husband wanted to try it out. I figured, what can be so special about a sandwich shop. Well, I was wrong. This place has the freshest ingredients and not to mention friendly service. I ordered the tuna sandwich and my husband ordered the pastrami sandwich. We ordered the combo and I thought it was pretty clever that they offer a variety of options for different combinations. For example you can get the usual drink and chips or you can get a drink and brownie, drink and side salad or drink and chili (haven't tried it but it's supposed to be the top thing on their menu). Plus this place has that cool soda machine that gives you endless soda options. If you're a fan of hot sauce, they have a variety of hot sauces (at the entrance) that are labeled with numbers. The higher the number the hotter the sauce. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

I stopped in here for a sandwich on 7/20/14. Decor was nice (actually a bit over the top for a sandwich shop) and it was busy. I ordered a #9 Italian sub and not bad but not great either. I didn't particularly like being asked to donate extra $$ to a foundation at the cash register. I find that very inappropriate. Given a choice of Firehouse or Ralph's subs down the street I would definitely go to Ralph's first. Just my personal preference. read more

Just opened near my work and this is better than other sub/sandwich shops. Try the Club on a Sub, it was bomb.... But skip the salads.

This place was crowded and loud. Seating was super tight, even outside on the side of the building. The prices seemed to be super high for the quality of sub that I ordered. As mentioned in other reviews, the subs are pretty saucy/wet, so be prepared. read more

This place is way better than subway. They have lots to choose from and the sandwiches are way fresher advanced subway. The staff is a lot nicer. They have a great selection of hot sauces and have one of those really cool coke machines that has hundred twenty flavors. read more

Hands down my favorite sandwich shop to go to. I always get the bacon ranch sandwich because it's SO good. I could seriously have it all day every day. My husband & I have been back several times! You have to try the Firehouse Meatball Sub, the best!! The bread does not get soggy, and they pack on the meatballs and the melted cheese is so delicious!! My husband gets the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket and we have not been disappointed yet. NO Ice tea. They don't make anymore ice tea after they run out. They said they run out at six but are open until ten. Food wasn't worth it. Cheaply made. Also out of Brownies. I am shoked they had chips. Won't be coming back. Maybe we should have gone to subway. read more

Food here can be very good. First time we had it it was delicious. Now every time we go it's more of a gamble. The scenery of it is very neat and they have fireman hats for the kids! We will continue to take the gamble but would probably patronize it more if the consistency was better. read more

Absolutely delicious! After driving by many of times in the past, I decided to give it a go. Maybe it is the name, but it screamed, TRY ME! And I am so glad I did. Joslin greeted me at the counter with a smile and a few recommendations. I chose the hook and ladder on honey wheat. They have unique toppings with lots of options. I have since been back again and it was equally as delicious! The deli style seating area has a tv and plenty of seating. Don't hesitate to give them a try and see for yourself. read more

Had a medium Turkey Bacon Ranch on wheat and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. This place by far beats out any sandwich place around. The sweet tea is so good too! 4 stars for the great food. Have been multiple times and always consistently great subs. Was disappointed this visit upon entering when the crew didn't welcome be enthusiastically like they normally do. This is my first visit to a Firehouse... Staff was polite and courteous. The sandwich was excellent... I have the New York Steamer. Although not a huge sandwich was very delicious and well presented. I should have ordered the 12" instead of the 8". Ample seating at this location next to a Target. Air conditioning works well and a couple TV's with sports on. I will definitely be visiting again soon. The menu is full of interesting choices. Thumbs Up!!! read more
