Firehouse Subs is one of my faves. The Hook and Ladder is my go-to favorite. I love the specials that they have! I got a free brownie topped with marshmallow cream. Loving the red, white, and blue theme for the Olympics!! The service is always friendly and efficient.

    Dirty table

Food was good and service was mediocre. The biggest thing I have to say is that the store was dirty and the tables weren't clean. There were three people working and they were turning away customers. Not sure why. I had a small NY steamer with hardly any meat on it. All bread. Not going to return anytime soon

Horrible staff and customer service. Employees was standing around when I came in for a party pack to deliver. One employee finally ask can she help me after 3 minutes of waiting. I told her the order she is working on. One employee was complaining the whole time repeating she is not scared of Sam. Waiting for the order, 1 employee was working on the order and the others were just complaining. They asked me again what I'm I waiting on I stated the party pack. And they said already. I said yes. I asked for the manager on duty and one of the young ladies replied that she was. I just can't believe how much complaining they were doing and the unprofessionalism.

    Hot sauce galore.

First time at Firehouse subs and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the beef and cheddar brisket. It was AMAZING! The meat was juicy and tender. Good amount of perfectly melted cheese on a soft white (or wheat if you prefer) sub. The bread is narrower than your usual sub sandwich place but longer (in the smaller size). You choose between 8" and 12". My boyfriend got the steak and cheese and absolutely drooled over it the whole time. Additionally, they had the fountain soda with 100+ options. Coke, diet coke, root beer, lemonade, etc then you choose the plain variety or add vanilla, cherry, orange, or raspberry flavoring.

Staff was very friendly. Place was clean. Food was fresh and the sandwich - Hook & Ladder lite - was delicious.

The Cole Slaw was fresh and crunchy and that is a change from that soggy corporate restaurants Cole Slaw. The pastrami was just right amount with stone ground mustard and Swiss on rye. All the food that was served looked great.

There are multiple classics that you can order if you want to play it safe, however I never do. I always order whatever the special of the day is. Who would've thought that this was going to be a delicious soup, but it was. The owner is the only person who works there, so give her a break if you go during lunch hour. It's usually busy. You can call ahead if you'd like. Also delicious desserts, including cake, pie, and cake pops. Sometimes cheesecake. There's a sign that says "skinny people here are easier to kidnap". No lie. If I ate here every day, I'd be impossible to kidnap.

My son and I have been trying restaurants in this area and this was next on our list. Store was very clean, as I said before service was outstanding. Here's a list of the food we tried: Drink stand - not many selections, but they do have Coke products. Sweet tea - they have not perfected the taste of Southern sweet tea, but it was fine French fries - crisp crunchy exterior soft, interior, really well done. . Egg salad sandwich - it was just an egg salad sandwich, no better no worse than others, just fine . European Gyro - this was a normally euro stuff with french fries, it was a cool look in the dish was good. Overall, I wanted to love this place, and it was fine. But that's all it was was fine, they played it safe, they didn't try to spice up their menu or give you a number of unique specials. They just serve decent food at what I thought was a high price. For instance, my egg salad sandwich, and I'm an egg salad, lover, Fair but it was $13 without many side drink or chips. Most places, including Tidbits, which is one of their competitors, is less than $5. But I have to say they five other restaurants in this strip center, including the powerhouse Mexican food at El Castillo, Donato's Pizza, Mad o' Seafood, a Latino restaurant and Açaí Bowls. So if you're going to compete with these other restaurants, I think you need to go above and beyond. Maybe highlight Middle Eastern dishes, maybe makes egg salad with some curry powder, and don't charge so much for just plain sandwiches. I don't have any qualms about going back, but I also don't have anything to draw me back. That special dish or that special thing. And that seem to be the theme with the other people that came in. This was a first time visit for a lot of people , and a regular crowd just wasn't there. Maybe that is telling.
