Subs were nice. The place smelled like an mmm mmm pizza joint, that was sexy. Then the choices were good because other places besides Subway don't let you modify the options. That is a good service letting you modify things. But crazy is they got the soda machine that has all kinds of choices. Don't forget the heros Ambiance, that's awesome in its own right. The fire suits, totally cool. Just needs a fire pole, then ecto-1 outside ready to go. Only reason a 4,is because on the second visit there was some mix up but happy discovery of yummies. Slowest lunch sandwich ever. Wow. Still waiting actually. Almost :20 min now. Are the sandwiches good? No clue. They look good....but if you're looking for a quick lunch, avoid avoid avoid. Not Freaky Fast The food? Fantastic! Everything else? Not well executed. The entrance sits sort of kitty-corner from the ordering area, which wouldn't be a problem, except that there is a tightly packed dining area in between, so traversing the restaurant to get to the counter is difficult. To make matters worse, if it's busy, the only open thoroughfare is blocked by people waiting for their subs. Speaking of waiting, holy crap! I realize everyone's new (the restaurant just opened), but it was painfully slow. I came in at what should have been a slower time (3:00), and it took nearly twenty minutes from order to pickup to get one sandwich. This wouldn't be a problem, except that there is nowhere to wait. As the place filled up, people constantly confused me for someone waiting in line, and how could they not? I was standing in the only open space in the building, competing with those who hadn't yet ordered for a spot to stand. This problem could be solved by reducing the amount of tables in the restaurant. That may suck, but it's got to be a fire hazard to have everything so close together. I'll probably try them again in a month or two; as I said, the food was fantastic! I just can't wait half an hour for my food when I'm on a lunch break. read more

In Minot over nite, stayed close to Firehouse Sub. 3 of us were there abt 7:30pm, place was kinda busy, we ordered 3 subs. They were delicious, bread is soft&fresh, meat was nicely warmed, extras were just right. Came back next day middle of afternoon, again had delicious subs. I thought they were great. Both times it took longer than anticipated. It's a small area where people order& wait then leave w subs or sit at tables to eat. read more

SO GOOD! After reading all the other reviews I was honestly hesitant to order, but I thought screw it, let's give it a shot. I ordered a full size steak and cheese sandwich, and lemme tell ya what, this was by far the best sandwich I have eaten in such a long time. Their staff is friendly, and they may be a little slow, but for the creations they are making, they kill it. Definitely highly recommend to anyone and everyone. read more

I must say the sandwich was great. I had the Italian and it was really good even if they got it wrong, it had jalapeños on it. Oops!! But it was really good spicy but good. They are very very slow so plan on waiting. It just open and there is no rhythm. People making sandwiches are to busy looking around. But I think in a month or so they should have it together. It is very crowded and they don't have a waiting area if you have an order to go. So people are standing everywhere. Makes it hard to get through the restaurant to where you order. Would suggest the put in a waiting area over on the wall where there is nothing but decorations. Maybe would help if they took call in orders or online orders. That way not everyone has to stand around for 20 mins or more waiting. read more

My biggest complaint isn't about the food, the service, or the workers. It's about the management! My daughter and friend got a job there and were giving a whopping 3 sometimes 2 days a week to work, and only 2 hours per day. That to me is unacceptable. I talked to the management and was told that the store doesn't do the scheduling, so basically wasn't his problem. Then finally after 3 weeks of this 2 hours of work for 2 days a week, my daughter complained about not getting enough hours. The manager told her "we don't talk about personal problems", then sent her home. The next week when she went in to check her schedule, she wasn't on it. When she inquired why, she was told because she was fired. Not a very professional way to let an employee go. The whole situation there was bad from the very beginning. So I will not eat there ever again because of the way they treated my daughter. The last business I boycotted, went out of business(fuddruckers). If they treat all their new employees the way they treated my daughter, they won't have to worry about finding employees, because they will be looking for new jobs. read more

I went here for the first time today with my sister. The positives were nice employees and that the place was clean. The sandwiches were decent but nothing special. They also were expensive for the quality and amount you get. The main complaint is that the service was incredibly slow. It took about 20 minutes to make 2 sandwiches and they weren't busy. Their pop machine was out of almost everything as well. We won't be returning, especially with Magic City Hoagies right across the street. read more
