The firehouse experience was subpar. Staff didn't care much about friendliness. The restaurant overall is dirty. Looks like the roof is leaking because they had buckets sat out. The bathroom also has not been cleaned in a dog age plus there were no paper towels to dry your hands. Horrible customer service idk how this store is still open. I keep trying to give it the benefit of the doubt and it's always the same thing. If you are not there over an hour before closing, don't even think about eating there they will give you a bad look and talk about how they already cleaned the tables. 2 times now going 45 min before closing and they say to go order only because they already cleaned the place etc. It's really uncomfortable and unfortunate. read more

We went to this Firehouse subs in Leesburg Fl. Everything looked ok. Half hearted hello. But the girl that waited on us was anything but nice. She was totally aggravated and my husband had a question and she just ignored him. She was so snippy that I finally said something. The manager came up and rescued her. The manager was good. From the moment we opened the door, we were not only greeted with a friendly, "Welcome to Firehouse Subs," but also a mouthwatering aroma. The service was beyond exceptional. Since we had packaged ice cream with us, the staff offered to keep in their freezer while we enjoyed absolutely delicious French Dip subs where each ingredient added to the overall flavorful perfection. Quick, Consistent satisfying sandwiches... IF ... You call or order in person. Even in the mist of a pandemic... when using the app or when ordering online I am 7/8 times my order is off in one way or another. Visited this store for lunch yesterday - 5-25-22. at around 4:00 pm. No "welcome to Firehouse Subs" or any kind of acknowledgment. Woman with a mask on rather rude(but I don't think she was feeling well) was extremely difficult to understand between the mask and the plexiglass! Really need both, people? My husband translated, bless his heart. She could have pulled the mask down a little to be understood! My Italian sub came out a soggy mess. Husband' s was ok. But really - do you put on mayo and other condiments BEFORE you toast the sandwich??? That's just stupid. Not good experience. Maybe need friendlier staff. The bread is not good North East Italian Hogie bread and the toppings are not what I look for...no hot peppers! Mayo and Mustard, again not the usual choice in NYC. If you don't want the whole North East Sub experience you may be happy. The service however was excellent, people there were working hard to get through the lunch time crunch. read more

Horrible food worst subs I ever ate!! Bread was dry and beef was dry gritty and tasted like dog biscuits!

I went to this location on 2/22 during my lunch hour. I work about 5 mins away from it. I had ordered a Firehouse salad with a medium bacon ranch sub (to-go). I initially waited 30 MINUTES, still being patient because the location was busy. However, 15 more minutes passed and my order was still not out. I went up to the employees and asked about the status of my order. Other customers were walking in and out within 10 minutes with their orders. The employees looked into the system and could not find my $13 order... they then proceed to apologize and say that 3 other customers with my same name had ordered to-go as well and they must've sent my order off with them by accident. They said they would begin preparing my order at that moment. I then waited for 15 MORE MINUTES and the employees continued asking me what exactly I ordered. At that point I was extremely frustrated that my entire lunch hour was spent waiting for my order. I asked for a refund so I could walk out. Instead they gave me a card for a free medium sub. After waiting an entire hour for my order, it was finally handed to me and I had ZERO time to eat it before returning to work. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning here. I threw away the free sub card and let all of my colleagues know of my terrible experience at this location. read more

Always about the same when I come here. Food is good and pretty much what you would expect at a Firehouse Subs. They are ALWAYS busy around lunch so if you come during that time, be prepared. They still do a good job of getting the food right and it to you in a decent time frame. read more

Leesburg Firehouse is the best sub place in town. They have the best food and the best service. Sure, it's more expensive than subway, but you get what you pay for. Firehouse slices their meat in house. Subway meat comes pre sliced and frozen. Now which one sounds more appetizing?! The owners of this store are wonderful people and they run it very well. The employees do a very good job with order accuracy, timeliness, and service with a smile. In the rare case that someone's sub or order does get messed up, they will remake your food to make it right. They really care about customer satisfaction. Even on busy days, like Sundays, they manage to serve the lunch rush quickly and efficiently. I've tried every sub on the menu, and I can't pick a favorite because they are all delicious. Don't like hot subs? That's ok; they can make it cold for you! The staff is very accommodating and will fulfill any special requests to a reasonable extent. Along with the delectable food, if you get lucky and come on the right day when he's working, a delectable hunk of man candy will make and serve your sub. You'll get a treat for your eyes and for your stomach! ;) I have been to the Leesburg Firehouse location probably a hundred times, and I don't ever get tired of it. I love this Firehouse! They have wonderful service and the subs are the best. They're a little pricier than Subway (just a little) but I can't even eat Subway anymore. It's so much better! The only sub I've gotten is Club on a Sub, but I love it so much! I get mine: On white, no tomatoes or onions, add chopped pickles. Delicious! I get this once a week.
