This makes my third Firehouse Subs experience ever, and this was not good. For the amount of people working, I feel it should have been faster. The lady who took my order seemed perplexed at my questions of the menu, even after I told her this was new to me. The whole ordering process was bizarre, and I don't think we will be back to this location. My littles meal ordering went well, but I asked for no lettuce on my sub. Double checked my receipt and it said no lettuce. What did I get? Lettuce. On both sides of the meat, no less. Now don't get me wrong, I eat salad, but not shredded iceberg during a time when salads are giving people illness. There weren't a bunch of to-go orders coming in with meal service drivers, and it took quite a while after our food was ordered to be ready. The restaurant was tables and chairs, and they have a freestyle Coke machine. The freestyle machine was out of a few soda options, so the drink choices my family made became obscure. At most, there were 8 patrons in the restaurant at any time, in varying stages of food ordering and completion. For that few number, the food production in the back could've been faster. Possibly the toasting of most sandwiches is what holds them up, but for the cost, I'd rather go elsewhere. If you like Firehouse and order ahead to get yours to-go, have at it. But there's other options for my family. read more

Not sure why this location only has 2.5 s. I ordered the meatball sub with extra cheese and it was amazing. Food was hot, fresh, and better than the last one I had at different location. Bathrooms were clean, atmosphere was peaceful, and the employeees were nice. I also got a sugar cookie and it was delicious! read more

I visited this location at lunchtime on a Sunday. They were pretty busy. The cashier was nice and efficiently fast. We made it through the line in no time. We left our name and our food was delivered to our table. Our orders were correct and fresh. The sandwiches were good. The three of us ate lunch for $30. That was two medium and one small sandwich combos. The sanitation grade here has gradually dropped. They have a grade of 94.5 posted at the register. read more

Tried to order a sandwich for pickup, accidentally hit delivery (my fault) called got put on hold for 6min. Made it to the restaurant before it was ready. Their phone was laying on the counter with me still on hold. Tried to cancel the delivery order which is through grub hub, no way to cancel. Not a happy camper right now. read more

Placed an online order, sent son to pick up and 2 of my 4 subs were completely wrong. Attempted to speak with manager & owner regarding this issue. Was asked to bring subs back to be re-made. When I expressed that I could not come back due to the distance and work, I was told to put the subs in the freezer until I could return. When I expressed that I should not have to be inconvenienced due to their employees mistake and that I would gladly give the incorrect subs to them if they remade them and delivered them to me and the owner just laughed. So I expressed that I thought it was ridiculous that he felt it was ok for me to be inconvenienced, but not his staff even though this was 100% a failure on their part. It is no wonder this establishment has a D+ rating with the BBB and the company has had to re-organize with the secretary of state under 2 different legal names (EMG Enterprises L.L.C. and EMG Elite Enterprises L.L.C.). I guess Eric E. Gibbs, II and Marlene M. Jones-Gibbs of Harrisburg, NC need to learn how to better operate a restaurant and how customer service should truly be provided. read more

Ordered a catering box for 5 people 24 hours in advance. Went to pick it up as their delivery charge was $20! I only live 4 miles from this place. Got home and the didn't include mayonnaise or mustard packets, no napkins, and gave me sweet tea instead of unsweetened tea. All of this was clearly marked on the order that was placed online. If you use this place be sure you check out everything before you leave as they clearly don't check your advance order before giving it to you. As a suggestion door dash delivery charges are nowhere close to $20 and we order from restaurants a lot further away. Called the store to advise them of issues, was told a manager would call back. We popped in to the MOORESVILLE store we got #4 and the brisket, with chips and drinks. The woman at the register was so friendly it was a joy to be there. The subs were made perfect we love the bread, but what made the entire time was made better because the staff are friendly people. The subs are really great and not all bread. If anything was avg it is the soda machine yes it offers a big variety but there is always a line. read more

Went to the establishment @ 8:30 ish and they pretty much had everything packed up for the night. When I asked if they had what I came to purchase in the back the manager appeared stated we are about to close. Not only that but I also noticed that that one of the workers using foul language as my fiancé and I was walking in. I went in to order the new chicken gyro sandwich which states on the wall sign that a medium is 6.49 but was charged 7.99. Lady stated she was suppose to change the sign, never once offered to give it stated price on the wall. My meatball sub was great. Plenty of meatballs, tasty sauce, extra oregano and fluffy bread. I love that they have a whole shelf of hot sauces all numbered to indicate heat. It made me sad that I didn't use one due to my sandwich choice. The cherry limeade was good but may be the sweetest liquid i've ever consumed. I could feel the impending diabetes. I was stealing sips from Jake B.'s cup, which was good because no way could I have finished a whole cup. I can't ignore the fact that while I was sitting eating I saw two other parties get their sandwiches with an error. Visited this Firehouse Subs location today for lunch. The restaurant was moderately busy with customers, yet service was adequate. Approximately 5 minute wait for food after order was placed. I had the New York Steamer combo. Sandwich was good, and combos supplies a bag of chips and a soft drink. This location offers a Coca Cola Freestyle drink unit, a huge plus for me. I enjoy the Freestyle's almost limitless number of flavors available. Perhaps in my old age, I am coming too value-driven (cheap), but despite the sandwich tasting good, it appeared small. Notice the presentation as pictured below. Not an impressive display for almost $10. Next time I'm in the mood for a sub for lunch, I'll seek out a Sheetz location, as I note in another review. read more

I like to think that Firehouse Subs, as a whole, are a step above the other sub shops, or at least I used to. Unfortunately, this particular location seems to be suffering from the same ailments as many other restaurants, fast food or otherwise. Upon entering, I was not greeted (no big deal). Upon ordering, I was barely able to get responses from the person taking my order. In all, like many restaurants these days, the entire staff seemed bored. They went through the motions to do the minimum to get a product out to yet another faceless customer. There was no pride in what they were doing and seemed to be killing hours to get a paycheck. The sandwich itself was 'okay'. Made according to a pre-approved process. It was very greasy and the bread was soaked. Since it was brisket, I allowed for some grease, but there was not a lot of joy in eating it. Maybe one day, people will get back to politeness and pride in their customer service and the company they work for. read more

Stopped by for lunch yesterday and ordered the Hook and Ladder sub. Food was fresh and made perfectly with no problems. It is rather expensive but it has the best food quality of any sub shop that I've been to. Excellent hot subs at this location !! I highly recommend Firehouse Subs !! read more
