My family were driving down I-85 North after going to see a family member currently admitted in the Novant Presbyterian Hospital, and we wanted some milkshakes, so what better place to stop at than Cook-Out? When we eventually got to Cook-Out and ordered, our food came out hot in about 5 minutes, but we only had half of it. So we had to go up and ask for the other half, which fortunately was also hot. The food was ok, but what was extremely outrageous was the fact that out of the 10 cars that went threw the drive-thru while we were there, only 1 of them did not walk up to the walk-up window to get the rest of their food. That is sad. At that point, it's harder to continue messing up than to not mess up! No one got all of their food. Almost no one. There are no picnic tables outside to enjoy your food, so we just had to eat on top of one of our cars (we were driving two). The whole outside area smelled like marijuana (quoted by a family member). I would absolutely go out of my way to not come back. The only thing keeping this from being a one star review is the fact that the food was alright. read more

Waited 10 minutes at the walk up window to order a Coke Zero. After finally someone waiting on me I was informed they do not serve Coke Zero, even though it is on their menu. I asked "why is it on your menu ", to be answered with the sliding glass window being shut on me. Absolutely unacceptable. If you don't serve it then don't advertise it on your menu. I got in line and there were only two cars ahead of me. Our line sat there and watched them move 7 cars ahead in the other line! I was there 27 minutes and was trapped in! -100000000 Stars/ aura - SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN This is hands down the worst Cook Out ever. I ordered a simple cheese quesadilla (because I DON'T eat meat), and these clowns gave me chicken in both. I explained that I have a serious allergy, and instead of fixing it like decent human beings, they ignored me and then handed me burnt quesadillas out of pure spite. To top it off, my drink was watered-down trash because they refused to refill the machine. The whole staff is lazy, rude, and completely unbothered about screwing people over. This isn't my first bad experience here, but it sure as hell is my last. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I came here for lunch today. I love their char broiled chicken sandwich. It is low calorie and good at the same time. Instead of the drive thru I decided to order at the walk-up takeout window. The cashier acted like she didn't want to be there. She wasn't friendly. She did get my order correct. My food was good(as always). There is no where to sit outside so I ate it in my car. Can't get an order right. I've gotten cole slaw with no dressing - just plain shredded cabbage; Ordered a pork BBQ sandwich and got a hamburger. Last night was the winner. All I wanted was a vanilla shake. Got to the bottom and there was an inch of that disgusting wanna-be chocolate syrup they use. They couldn't even make a simple vanilla shake without screwing it up. Can't give zero stars or I would. I was excited to have a cookout down the street when I bought my house but this location is easily the worst. The burgers are always dry/smaller than other locations, the toppings were never fresh, and they charged me for a large drink without me asking and when I inquired about it they were like "oh thats just how we do it now". but then after a few times it went back to normal. Also - When did they start giving you 1/8 of the chili cheese fries in a hot dog container for the same price? It was so bad/wrong 5 or 6 times with no resolution(which I normally just deal with) that I called corporate like a Karen in hopes to get the location straightened out. Corporate sent me $50 in coupons but the unfortunate part is it could only be used at that location apparently. Therefore the $50 of replacement food was also trash. Rarely get your order correct and they need to coach their employees to listen and talk with something more than a grunt. Used to be a favorite place to stop, but now the management obviously does very little training and has no control of the place. Amazing that Chic Fil A has great employees and I can't recall the last time I had an issue with my order. It is due to a poor corporate mentality and little or no training. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The food is good but this location leaves something out of our order or gets our order wrong EVERY time. When I say every time I am not exaggerating. I'm not being melodramatic. When we went back up to the window tonight to get our order corrected, another customer said, "Wow you're the 4th person whose order they got wrong since I've been up here". Okay, so let me just say don't come here high. Never come here high when it's busy. Me and my friends spent about 1 30 minutes arguing back and forth with our order, because they guy taking our order was kinda in his own world and put 13 menu items onto our order that we didn't even ask for . So after that, we waited for another 1 hour and 10 minutes because I asked for the bill so I could make sure he got everything. The Total was $60 but he only gave us 5 drinks and two ice cream cups. So I told him yo, were is all our food? I shit you not he asks "oh you ordered food too?" Duh! Wtf? So after that we still didn't even get what we even ordered. We just took whatever he gave us at that point. Theres a big lesson here. Always go get your ears checked so you can actually hear the customers order.
