Awful customer service. How does an owner of 20 years know absolutely Nothing about the app for her business. There were three other employees and not one of them knew anything. There were more employees than customers. I went to get my birthday sub and she said she couldn't honor it because they had new owners and I was a day late. So you're going to run off a great customer over a day. Never once did any of them say Happy Birthday. It was AWFUL. I won't be back. I'll stick with Subway or make my own. Please learn some customer service skills and train your employees. If I could give a ZERO, I would. There was a sign on the door that they are closing early due to lack of employees. I see and understand why.

I grabbed lunch at Firehouse Subs today. Overall, I like Firehouse Subs and have been to this location many times. Today everything was fine except the guy in front of me placing 7 individual orders, but that is not the fault of Firehouse Subs. I ordered the medium meatball sub combo. The food was quickly brought to my table and I was able to eat and get back to work quickly. My ticket was $9.36.

I love Firehouse. It's definitely a step up from Subway. I always get the Hook and Ladder and have always been satisfied. For a Medium Hook and Ladder Combo with chips and a drink it's 9.25$. A bit on the expensive side for a sub sandwich but it's good occasionally. Also, if you don't get there between 11-1115, the lines are long and the tables are scarce.

This sub shop has some really delicious hot subs. The Italian is extra tasty with the classic Italian meats like pepperoni and salami. I also really enjoy their meatball sub and "The Engineer" which is a turkey sub with mushrooms. The menu is not the most extensive sub menu out there but the hot subs really are top notch. The place gets pretty busy during lunch so be ready to wait a little bit for your order. The firehouse theme is a cute idea and I always love the murals they have on the wall of local firemen. They have a huge number of hot sauces on the counter which I think brings a little kick to any sub and is a little something extra to make a sub shop stand out.

So I tried calling up there to let them know hair was in both of the subs I ordered but I'm the process I was put on hold for how ever long after I asked for the manager. Definitely am going to let people know how they like to treat customers in this store.

I give 'em a four, overall. Our hot sandwich was very good. The wife and I split one. It was somewhat small for splitting, so she went back and got us a brownie. They were fast this Sunday evening. However, they weren't too busy. Our cashier was a young gal; the name on the receipt is Sydney J. No wait to order, and the sandwich came to our table in one minute! There was a strong free WiFi signal that didn't require a password. However, I'm not sure whose router that was. The sidewalk tables look like a good place to watch a sunset during supper.

Speed of service could be better but these folks put together a very good sandwich. You can never go wrong with this place.

Rude service. Place is staffed entirely by petulant children. Dire need of adult supervision here. I'd go elsewhere.

Waited almost 15 minutes for my sandwich. Crew moving like they were on valium. Sandwich was mediocre and not worth the money or wait.

Great subs! One of the better in the Huntsville area. Good food at a reasonable price. Recommend.

It was fairly full on a Tuesday for lunch so we had to sit by the front door. The menu is fairly simple and includes specialty sandwiches, salads and soups, a couple desserts and not much else. For as large as this space is, you would think they would serve more food items. Maybe their kitchen is just very small, not sure. The server indicated many of their sandwiches are steamed. I tried one of their sandwiches, the casa grande without olives, with a side (potato salad) and a homemade banana pudding. Sandwich - this is a pretty good sandwich that is moist due to the steaming and a lot of mustard and mayo. They also forgot to take off the olives though. Potato salad - their version is like a German potato salad with some skin showing and plenty of mustard as the base. The problem was it was too chunky with a chunk of potato the size of my fist. This is just too big to bite. Banana pudding - pretty good but very sweet My colleague's sandwich was decent too, but he also had a problem with some soggy bread. The service was decent as both our soft drinks were refilled promptly. Mondays amd Tuesdays are semi slow and they close at 3; however, other days are much busier with live music mostly on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.

This is THE best place in town to hang out with friends any day of the week, not just on game day. The bartenders and servers are very friendly and the service is definitely on point, even when the place is packed they get to you as quickly as possible. The food there is not your typical bar food either. The burgers and sandwiches are out of this world!! I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, and I promise that you haven't lived until you taste Yankee food, and the food at The Turtle made me so homesick I almost wept. I highly recommend this place!!

It's super easy to miss if you're not looking, as there's no real store signage outside. Over the years I've heard this was one of the best burgers in town and just a solid hole in the wall, neighborhood type joint. Well, they weren't wrong. It's a seat yourself kinda place yet, it's full table service. It's much larger than you'd think inside as well. Arcade games, darts, pool tables are all inside along with a large screen TV and multiple other TV's. I imagine this is a solid spot for watching your teams. We got their menu's (food & drink) and took a hot minute to make our choices. Thankfully, our server and his trainee (the owners niece) were super patient and helpful along the way. They have super cheap draft beers but sadly, none were to my preference. That said, they had a number of cans/bottles of the local/regional craft variety and we enjoyed a few of those. I honestly can't recall what Amber got but she enjoyed it. I got the bacon cheeseburger and it was quite good. Burgers are just one of those things that are very much about preference. Having lived in Austin for a number of years and it being a HUGE burger town, my expectations can be somewhat lofty. There was absolutely nothing offensive about their burger, I think I've had ones I've enjoyed more elsewhere in town. The prices and portions can't be beat though! We both absolutely LOVED this spot and will do our best to visit more often!

I didn't expect it to be half full when I went in with only one car outside, it must be a local favorite. The menu has not only classics but some interesting twists too. We were told to grab a menu and sit anywhere we wanted. Then once you know your order you place it at the counter & pay. I got the breakfast Panini with avocado added. My husband got a half chicken salad salad and a glorified grilled cheese. We also got a pretzel salad to try. Portion sizes were great, the food was delicious and inventive. I loved the ginger citrus dressing that was for the salad, I even asked them where it was from. We were told they make it in house. The pork in the grilled cheese tasted so fresh & flavorful. They also gave us water cups & their water is good ( must be filtered) We will definitely be back. Also a plus, they are open earlier then a lot of other eating establishments.

The girl who took our order was incredibly friendly, and the service was quick from the moment we walked in. I ordered Dad's Egg Sandwich, and Mom got the Vegetable Frittata. The bacon on my sandwich was the standout--nice, thick, and perfectly cooked. My only complaint is that the menu mentioned garlic, but I honestly couldn't taste any. If you're going to promise garlic, I want to taste garlic! Mom really enjoyed her frittata, although I think she's getting a little tired of egg dishes lately. She especially loved the toast and whatever butter they served with it. It almost tasted like maple butter, and it was delicious. The fresh fruit was also excellent (I happily finished Mom's!). My only real complaint is the size of the restaurant. It's a cozy space, but I can see it getting crowded very quickly during the breakfast rush. Overall, everything was wonderful. Friendly staff, fast service, and a delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be back!
