When you only have 30 minutes for lunch and you order ahead of time, it shouldn't take 35 minutes to make a sub. No time to eat

Normally the food and service at this store are decent. Today (2/27/2026 @ 10:45 am) was not one of those days. Not only was my order missing food items, the dismissive attitude among the employees behind the counter simply exacerbated the whole experience. When I asked for the missing items, I got what I can only explain as a simple "you're bothering me" attitude. Like I said, I've been pleased with the food and service in the past. This crew today needs some coaching and an attitude change. Not sure if I'll return to this location, especially since there are other sub shop options in the area. read more

I'm at the Firehouse subs on marketplace boulevard. I think they have new owners. The tea is weak like water. The meat content seems to be cut in half. They've taken all the chips away except for Ms Vicky's. People will notice, and these are not good changes! read more

Firehouse Subs - No one even trying. - Fast Food Near Me - Cumming, Georgia

Service is incredibly slow. No one answers the phone on weekend evenings. It is like the place is allergic to making money.

After working hard helping my dad rebuild his deck, we were pretty hungry so I stopped by Firehouse Subs and placed a to go order. The woman at the front was pretty much intolerable she kept barking at me because I was not an expert on ordering Firehouse Subs (I ordered 4 total so I was trying to keep everyone's order straight). Although, I must say the guys working the sandwich line were very friendly. I get home open my sandwich and to my amazement my order was wrong. I usually get the Steak & Cheese with ONLY steak & cheese...I attribute the error to the woman who would not let me get a word in edge wise because she was too busy asking me whether I wanted white or wheat. Now don't get me wrong I work in Customer Service so I know how it is to have a bad day with everyone watching but keep it professional. Anyway, I bet you're on the edge of your seats wondering after having a bad experience why I would give this place 4 stars. Don't worry, you're about to find out! The restaurant was impeccably clean I'm talking not even the slightest shred of lettuce littering the floor or tables. Reason 2: my sandwiches were made, with the exception of mine, to the accurate specifications outlined in my order. Reason 3: Even after picking off all the mushrooms, green peppers & onions on my sandwich it was still exceptionally good! So that my Yelper friends is why I will go back. On a side note, I noticed they have the ingredients to make your own Cherry Limeade now somebody tell me that doesn't sound delish! read more

Standard firehouse sub shop. They're usually friendly and fast. The dining area is maintained unless you go there during lunch hours of course. Go here if you want a fast fatty sandwich. The price per sub is on the higher end for what it is but they do offer more meat, so probably same price point value comparing to other sub shops read more

I'm down with Firehouse. Probably my fav sub in the alpharetta/cumming area. I love the brisket sub and love the bbq grilled chicken. Also don't forget the Cherry Limeade!!!!! read more

Today's service was awful. It wasn't crowded and it took 1/2 hour for them to get our salad and Philly cheese steak ready for takeout. Then when we opened them to eat yhere was no napkins, no fork and no cheese on the cheese steak. They had to remake numerous other orders while we were waiting. read more

Reopened official today under new management and new staff. My daughter works there and we got the opportunity to sample a few different subs. Had a little hiccup in ordering process but we got to sample the brisket and I gotta say it was an amazing mistake! Their food is pretty darn good and yes you might get a few hiccups as they get everyone trained properly, however these folks are truly amazing. I can see this place settling into the next local hot spot for good subs and good company. Come out and check them out, give the staff a chance to amaze you and I highly recommend the Brisket, steak and cheese, meatball and Black Forest ham subs. Give us enough time and I'm sure our family will sample the rest of this great menu! read more

Subs are good... but I was amazed to see the roaches at the check out counter.. please so better.

The food server crews did not observed proper food handling technique (no hair nets, wiping sweat with shirts and the food prep stalls are well hidden). We got served with a 1 long strand of blonde hair (no denying its them coz we have black hair) in our sandwich. We requested for a quick replacement and got it quickly. The problem now was after we got home, we all got sick (maybe they did something to the replacement subs). The Buford branch is better because its wide open and more spacious. read more

I've eaten at several of these chain sammich shops around the city and have generally had good experiences. Today, we went to this one which is practically in our back yard. Ann got the Club on wheat and I got the Engineer (after all, I AM a Tech grad) on wheat. There are several things I really like about these places: 1) The sandwiches are very juicy and well-made, 2) They have a choice of like 40 hot sauce types laid out to fire up that ole sammich (I like habanero/mango), and 3) They have a cherry drink on tap that you squeeze fresh limes into and make a very tasty libation. Service was prompt, and the waitstaff was attentive to follow up. On a non-food note, they have 7 gallon empty pickle buckets, with handles, that they sell for $2.00, which make great carwash and garden buckets. We'll be back to this one! read more

The Hawaiin Pork Sandwich and the Italian Meatball sub are the best in the area. I wish it wasn't so close and so good, it's affecting my diet ;) Now why 4 stars not 5? There are two reasons for this: 1. Facilities are a little dirty, almost every time I go there the tables have crumbs and food droppings not to mention the floor could use a little cleaning. I overlook this though because the subs are freaking good. 2. The chips they offer as a side aren't that great. If they had a better brand such as the dirty potato brand that publix carries, I'd give them another half star. Despite those issues this is the best sub/sandwich place in the area. Prepared our subs incorrectly and then wouldn't provide a refund. We called and reported the incorrect order once we realized it, and the employee refused to refund us. Management needs to look over their policy when orders are prepared incorrectly. The customer should not be expected to pay for something they can't even eat! I have gone to many Firehouse locations then on 3/15/2017 @ 8:18 PM at this location i ordered to go a large Hero fully involved w/ wheat bread. One customer walked in after me received his order to go and walked out with his order before me. He possibly called it in. At that time there were no other customers in the shop, 2 young employees male and female and a male manager. Shortly after the last customer left the young male whom took my order, made my sandwich and called my name after putting my sandwich in the bag saying that is was ready. I took my order, thanked him and departed the location then traveled home approx 3 miles away. Shortly after arriving I warmed my wrapped sandwich then sat to enjoy, only to find my Hero sandwich with NO MEAT at all. How is this possible if one person handled the entire transaction from beginning to end. I carried the sandwich back to the location @ 8:48 PM. When i walked in it was obvious the young male recognized me with a slight smirk on his face asking can he help me. I immediately sat the sandwich on the counter with my receipt then informed him that I wanted a refund. The young male responded by saying "Oh that's the one". Shortly afterwards the manager walked over asking what was wrong. I once again stated that the sandwich did not have any meat on it. He looked in the bag asked the young male to check the oven for meat only to find it empty. The Manager processed my refund. Was the sandwich made this way purposefully or carelessly. Regardless this exhibited terrible customer service. I will never be a customer at this location again nor recommend it. read more
