They have some good prices on some stuff and when they are high on stuff they are really high. The guys behind the desk are good and really quick to write me up and take my money. But the real stars of this place are the guys in the back. The ones getting my stuff for me and helping me get it in my truck or on top of my truck. They have sent me out many time with my ass end almost dragging but I made it back to the job safely. With all of my loot and I didn't leave any of it on the street. So I will be back many times for this project is not to long out of the gate. See Ya soon guys.

I took a picture of my installed product (150 bricks) and asked to return the extra 4 boxes flat brick boxes I had been incorrectly given for the missing 3 boxes of corners) They told me I was wrong and that both they and the distributed had checked my order and did not make mistakes . But if I wanted to order three more boxes PLUS pay the shipping they would be happy to take my money. I contacted eldorado stone directly and they apologized and said they did not want their customers treated that way and have shipped me the three additional boxes AT NO CHARGE so I can finish my project. I would highly recommend you do not use this store as they have no customer service.

I used this company a couple of days ago wiith excellent results. It was a difficult move from a 4…read morestory townhouse, two stops and a 2 story final destination. The guys were very professional and polite. They never complained about the difficulty of the job and the extreme heat in Jacksonville. They worked hard the entire 9 hour job! I would highly recommend this company and will use their services in the future.

I am writing this as a public service announcement: Do not hire New Chapters Moving Company. What…read morestarted as a $579 quote turned into a $1,200+ disaster that left my belongings broken, my apartment half-empty, and my storage unit a dangerous mess. 1. Property Damage & Negligence The most devastating part of this move was the complete disregard for my electronics. I provided professional TV boxes with foam corners; instead, they shoved my TVs into two-piece boxes with the screens exposed. Now, both TVs are ruined. One screen is visibly shattered, and neither unit will even power on. They took "professional" equipment and treated it like trash. 2. Price Gouging & Bait-and-Switch This company practices predatory pricing. I was quoted $579. Once they had my items on their truck overnight, the owner demanded $1,260. I felt completely extorted. He offered a measly 10% "discount" when I complained, but the final price was still double the estimate for a job that wasn't even finished. 3. Chronic Unprofessionalism The movers arrived 1.5 hours late and spent the first 30 minutes on the phone with their boss. Despite having a reserved freight elevator and a storage unit only 4 miles away, they moved at a snail's pace. They went "radio silent" for over an hour while I waited for them at the storage facility, later claiming their phones "died." 4. Incomplete Work & Reckless Packing * Abandoned Items: They left numerous boxed-up items sitting right by my apartment door, forcing me to deal with the move myself after paying them over $1,100. * Storage Disaster: They packed my unit so poorly that I can only open the door six inches before items begin falling out. Sentimental items were crushed and broken because they lacked basic stacking skills. 5. Zero Accountability When I sent the owner photos of the damage, he spent 30 minutes on the phone defending his "professionalism" rather than offering a refund for the damaged TVs or the unfinished work. He is a smooth talker who takes no responsibility for his crew's incompetence. I had to hire another company to fix the mess he made. Save your money and your sanity. This company is dishonest, overpriced, and will break your expensive belongings.

After calling around to several moving companies and Jax and having no luck, we had Baymeadows Movers reccommened to us by multiple friends. They were curteous and professional over the phone when scheduling our appointment, and the price they quoted was lower than several others we had gotten online. The day of the move they showed up right on time (maybe even a few minutes early) and were so efficicent that they moved everything out of our 999 sq ft 3 bedroom and into the truck in about 30 minutes. We only had a couple miles to go, but all in all (with a coffee and donut break) they had us moved out and in by 10:30am - around 90 minutes. The workers were incredibly friendly and nice, and purposely tried to be fast so we could pay the minimum charge. Honestly, I cannot reccommend Baymeadows Movers enough for Jacksonville people needing help moving. It was well, well worth the few hundred we spent to have our entire house moved in under two hours, with nothing damaged. We will absolutely hire them again in the future, if we need movers.

Very sad that boxes are tagged and can't make it to their destination.
