Dead roaches in the bathroom absolutely disgusting and the hallway smells like rats. Most defiantly the worst service I have ever had. Just tried to have lunch with my mom and couldn't get the talking staff to refill and a drink and all Evan the manager could say was sorry you feel that way try us again next time. Pretty decent place to say the least. I'll definitely be back, but there were a few small details that would prevent a 5 star review. Firstly, the food was totally fantastic. No complaints there. However the sauces on the tables were both labeled "S". One being for sweet and the other spicy. As you can guess, this is a problem. Really good service. Potato salad was excellent. Good beer selection. Pulled pork was average- a little dry for my taste, but I cook/que/smoke pork for large groups regularly so I might be a little pickier than the average patron. Our group consisted of 5 adults, but it definitely looked kid friendly (all-ages games provided for your entertainment). I was very surprised at how excellent this place is. The service is friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent. I got the brisket sandwich, on special for ten bucks. It was delicious, tender and smoky. It was a little dry but they have bottles of BBQ on the table. My friend got the ribs, and they are hands down the best ribs I have ever tasted. They were so meaty, tender, and flavorful. I may like the sauce at Phil's a little better, but the ribs themselves don't hold a candle to these. This is our second visit here and the staff is fantastic! Patient, respectful, and always ready to help. For me service is the most important part of the dining experience and I'm never let down here. Not only is the service great, but the food is great as well. Best BBQ in the area. I enjoyed the Tri-tip sandwich and fries. Service was great and the beer selection is excellent. The beer is sold separately at the bar but it didn't seem to be an inconvenience. The parking can be limiting so I'd recommend getting there early or just Uber. read more

So delicious bbq and the staff is amazing. There isn't a huge menu, but you will not be disappointed by taste or portions. If you like spicy, I highly recommend their spicy bbq sauce. I am no wimp when it comes to spice, but i had to mix a little bit of their original sauce in with it. They also have a sweet sauce that is a perfect balance of sweet and tang. I'll try to keep it short. If u catch yourself in Fallbrook hungry u can't go wrong with this place. Super speedy service, amazing and perfectly cooked BBQ, great beer, but above all the friendliest staff I have ever seen from someone not trying to sell me a car. For example, I went to the counter after my family and I had finished eating to get some to go boxes, every single person was busy in less than 10 seconds the cook of all people came out from the back to ask me if he could help me with anything. He got me the boxes and asked how the steak I had was (fucking perfect) and introduced himself as Mark and even went as far to ask for mine. This was just one of the many ways I was blown away by how friendly this staff was on top of how awesome this place was. This place is soo bomb! The brisket is juicy and delicious, and the sauces were on point!! French fries and fried okra were awesome, too! Definitely putting this in my top 5 restaurants in Fallbrook. Hands down BEST bbq around! I still need to come back and try out the mac & cheese. I just hope they won't be out of pickles again! This place is amazing ! I'm a vegetarian so I've never even thought twice about walking in, but my boyfriend wanted to try it today so I agreed and I'm so glad I did ! He ordered the Mac & fries with Tri-tip in place of the pulled pork. I've been picking at his Mac & cheese before he ate it with the meat and it is so good . I'm a fan of a good Mac and cheese and thanks to this spot I won't have to drive up to Long Beach for the closest Roscoe's (it's that good.) really cheesy , creamy and delicious thick noodles . I ordered a side of fries with some BBQ sauce to dip them in and the sauces are great too . Ivan was helping us and he was so helpful ! Really great guy that made the experience . We have been thinking about trying this place for awhile. I am so glad we finally did! First of all, the family friendly ambience is great! They have board games and a giant connect four to keep the kiddos busy. Now to the food. We started with some fried pickles. Every meat we tried was juicy and delicious, but the favorite seems to be the smoked ribeye my brother ordered. The sides are great--fried okra, cheesy Mac n cheese, spicy creamed corn, fries. All were great. The portions are huge, so don't be afraid to share. Plus then you can share a delicious peach cobbler a la mode to wrap up your meal. Seriously, get the cobbler! They do have kids meals for the younger crew (the kids' rib plate was enough for two smallish kids to share). They pour their own microbrews and Fallbrook Winery wines. read more

The young man at the counter was very pleasant and helpful including the rest of the staff who also checked on us multiple times. We had the brisket, which was VERY juicy and tender. The sides of fried okra, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were tasty as well! Kids eat free on Tuesday and Wednesday. Military also receive a ten percent discount and free soft drinks. The food was great - I had the tri tip sandwich with garlic fries. Both were delicious. The only downside was finding out they didn't start serving beer until 4PM (I'm not quite sure if it was just that day, or if that is an every day thing). We cannot get enough of this place, bartender Joseanna always makes our visits great and the food is spectacular. We often bring our dog and they give him food and water while we are out there on hot days. Hard apple cider is amazing if they have it :) it's seasonal.
