I don't know if it was the time of night or what happen but went here a bit ago and didn't even end up eating the food. I'm not one to take the food back to the restraunts and make a fuss, and I'm not generally a picky person. I got the pulled pork sandwich and my wife got the tri tip plate. The creamed corn was extremely watery, the Mac and cheese was very dry, little to no cheese, the tri tip tasted like the salt shaker lost its lid while seasoning it, and my pulled pork sandwich was more more like a tough pork slab of meat, it didn't fall apart at all. Like I said at the beginning of the post it may have been the time of day we got the food '8:15 on a Friday night' but I was really hoping this place was good due to the reviews being pretty good, it's been a long time since I haven't eaten a meal and just threw money away. read more

What a waste of time and money. Came in on a Slow Sunday and they were out of half of their menu. We ordered brisket and the 35min in to waiting for our food we were told they are actually out of that too. Our food came out maybe 10min after they told us they were out of brisket. Our order came out and all the meat was COLD, under cook, portion sizes are tiny. $50 bucks... really?! The potato salad has no flavor go to Albertsons for better quality. There was a table behind us full of dirty dishes from the previous customers as we walked in and didn't get attended to till we were done eating. The manager standing at the bar doing paperwork literally blowing gum and popping it while we are eating. The bartender told us they'd throw in a cobbler for the brisket mishap and we had to ask for the cobbler to go and our cards back when we were ready to leave because the bartender held on to them and there was never a checkin from the servers at any point of our meal. The TV's just reply the same videos. All in all we will be driving the extra 20-30min to Phil or Felix's BBQ. read more

Traveled an hour to Fallbrook to get away from the city. We decided to stop here for lunch. Sure glad we did! First off, we love the firefighter theme of this place! Secondly, the food was SOOOO delicious! We chose to sit outside near the smoker so we could enjoy the BBQ smell while we waited. We ordered the deep fried pickles as an app and oh my! After touring a local business, the aroma of smoked food brought us here. Melissa greeted us with a smile, an appreciation for our visit and was also our waitress. Seating was plentiful around 2 p.m. The baby back ribs were delicious with freshly brewed ice tea. Although my wife was looking forward to the smoked rib eye steak, the half pound of tri tip was tender and tasty. The delivery of our meal was perfect and we passed on dessert.
