I got the visit in the evening and introduce a friend from Michigan to one of my favorite restaurants. He was so happy with a brisket. There is so much history and so many cool things to read on the walls. The decor is charming and it's an awesome place to sit and have a beer and catch up with a friend afterwards. It's my favorite for lunch and dinner in the depot district.

They should post on their FB page or something. Split the full rack of ribs with hubby. Ribs were good. Came with 2 sides (board did not indicate this). The fried potatoes as a side were ok, but received very small portion. Had cottage cheese as second side. Nice serving of that. Worst part of meal was the margarita. 4 of us at the table had margaritas (special for the night). No matter the flavor (we had 3 of them), they were not good: tooooo sweet and no tequila. Also, they only take cash. Again, something that should be obviously stated on their FB page since they don't have a website. Most of us liked our food, but skip the margaritas and bring cash. Not sure we'll travel 45+ minutes to return.

An order of pickle spears included 5 huge spears and was probably enough for some people to eat as a meal. Same goes for the onion petals. This isn't a fried piece of onion. It's like a quartered onion then deep fried chunks of it. And the batter on both was so light and crispy! I have not tried any dessert. The very next time you go out to eat--eat here!!
