She was proactive in reaching out to see if we needed anything during our planning process and was extremely fast in answering any questions we had, regardless of the time of day. Carey was our Day of Coordinator and equally as fabulous. She was one step ahead of everything and was always ready with a refill of our drinks. All the staff the day of were great as well. They even packed the leftover catering food and any decor/items in the getting ready room in our truck. I come from a background of event planning and Kimberli and Carey and the team at OGR checked all the boxes and make planning and executing your wedding day flawless. My husband and I felt so taken care of on the day of and all of our guests were texting us the days after saying how it was such a wonderful event - all thanks to the OGR team. The venue is beautiful - our wedding was in early April and had our ceremony at the Wedding Deck and it was lush and green. The Beer Donkeys are adorable!

If you're looking for the perfect blend of luxury, nature, and total relaxation, Onera Wimberley is where you need to be. This is not just a place to stay--it's an experience, a retreat, a little slice of paradise tucked into the rolling Texas Hill Country. I love that you can enjoy all there is about camping in the hill country - the wildlife, the trails to hike, the rolling hills that lovingly kiss the sun good morning and good night, while still relaxing in elegance and modern comforts (the BEDS! Oh my gosh!) Bring good hiking shoes! The photos I took don't do it justice, but whether you're an early riser or a sunset chaser, Onera delivers. Mornings here are nothing short of magical as the sun peeks over the hills, and evenings? They are breathtaking. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of gold, pink, and lavender, is worth every second and every penny of your escape. We took a hike to watch the sunset and I highly recommend it - the golden hues that play on the event center at dusk are just gorgeous. The way the space is so peaceful only adds to your ability to unwind and forget about everything outside of the Onera gates. Onera isn't just about a place to sleep--it's about staying somewhere that feels both indulgent and adventurous. Think treehouse-style accommodations and sleek, modern retreats nestled right into nature. Each space is beautifully designed to offer comfort with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outside in. And the best part? Many of the decks come with private hot tubs, so you can soak under the stars in total bliss. Ours did and we took full advantage of it. Oh, and speaking of soaking--the infinity pool at Onera is absolutely stunning. Perched perfectly to overlook the Hill Country, it's the ultimate spot to unwind. Whether you're floating with a drink in hand or lounging on the deck, the views will steal the show. If you're looking for a place to host an unforgettable wedding, retreat, or celebration, Onera's event center is incredible! Surrounded by nature and designed with elegance, it's the perfect setting for any special occasion. The lighting is perfection in the event center and the views?... Chef's kiss! From check-in to checkout, the staff at Onera go above and beyond to make sure your stay is flawless. Every little detail is handled with care, and their warmth and hospitality make you feel right at home. I had a spectacular stay and look forward to returning again soon! Thanks, Onera! This ol gal needed a break and you not only came through, you did that and more!

Less than 24 hours after booking, my brother's wife unexpectedly went into labor and I had to cancel immediately to be there for my family. I completely understood there may be policies in place, but after spending $1,200 as a single mother, I simply asked for a future stay credit or some level of compassion. Instead, I was met with cold, robotic responses and zero willingness to work with me. It's incredibly disappointing when a place values policy over people, especially in situations that are unexpected and family-related. Sadly, this experience completely changed my view of staying here, and I'll absolutely choose somewhere else in the future.

The entire staff was phenomenal, but Lynnsey and Dana exceeded our every expectation. We knew when we met with them during our decor meetings we would enjoy working with them. We were blown away the day of the event. Everything ran smoothly, the guests had so much fun and everything was perfect. The staff does a great job of keeping you on your timeline without stressing you about it. They make sure that you are having fun and take care of your every need. The decor they offer with the "All-Inclusive" package is so worth it! I didn't worry once about what the ceremony site or reception area would look like. We stayed in the Bungalow and it is so cozy and decorated in a very cute way. There is not one negative thing I can say about this venue or the staff. I would recommenced this venue 100%!

My family (including two toddlers) and I were looking for a place that wasn't too remote where we could get away from city life and the busy-ness that comes with it. This place really hits the mark on all levels - conveniently located, but remote feeling, great accommodations (and the lovely host, Pam), a fantastic swimming hole on the Blanco, lots of great restaurants nearby, etc. There is also an impressive working farm that is always yielding plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. And, Farmer John is always interested in showing kids and sharing the bounty. Highly recommended!

McKenzie was so sweet but following orders she had to rush us to finish our duties. It's in the middle of nowhere and I do not know why they are sticklers to "their ways". There is a huge miscommunication between them two; mixed messages. No kind of accommodations are available. I did not enjoy interacting with them overall as I felt rushed and they just came off as entitled/unprofessional. They speak negatively about people instead or reaching out to them directly. They have a belief of they host "weddings", not "parties/celebrations" and are unaware of cultural differences. Pam is adamant about receiving a list for EVERY single detail such as when the bride/groom is getting ready and when everything happens when they weren't present the entire time to SUPPORT the event. That's the job of the coordinator. For the price overall of the venue/limits and the amenities and accommodations, this place is overpriced.

Tucked just behind Gennaro's Trattoria, this place blends the beauty of Tuscany with the rustic charm of Texas. And yes... living just 8 minutes away doesn't hurt either! From a photographer's point of view, it's heaven. The mature trees and winding walkways naturally follow the landscape, creating effortless photo opportunities around every turn. Hilltop views, dreamy light, and gorgeous backdrops? Check, check, and check. Every couple I've worked with here says the same thing: "There are so many beautiful spots for photos--and we didn't even have to walk far!" One of my favorite hidden gems is the underground level--yep, underground! With its dramatic wooden double doors and cozy, wine-cellar vibe, it adds a magical, unexpected twist to the wedding day flow. Couples can enjoy dinner with family upstairs, then head down below for dancing and celebration. Both levels are stunning and so well thought out. The staff? Truly some of the kindest people I've met in the industry. We always end up sharing a laugh or two--they genuinely love what they do, and it shows. Their hospitality adds that extra layer of warmth that makes everyone (vendors and guests alike) feel at home. Villa di Campagna isn't just a venue--it's an experience.
