I fell in love with this venue online, and our first time at the venue I fell in love even more!! This venue is so unique and stunning. It's not your typical looking venue at all and that's what caught my eye and that's what I loved the most. This venue is beautiful in every single way, we had our ceremony outdoor and the reception inside. Everyone was blown away!! The venue needs minimal decorations because of the interior design throughout the whole venue. The reception area is stunning with the most beautiful chandeliers and the most amazing natural light shining through. We were obsessed with the big tables and how they really didn't need any table cloths. We absolutely loved our big day and got so many compliments for the beautiful venue we chose. My daughter's wedding was there this summer and the staff was very professional and accommodating and they truly led us through the day with no hitches. In the months leading up to the wedding, they were very responsive to questions and knowledgeable about the area and had great suggestions for caterers and other services. It's a beautiful venue, and the dining room/dance floor is the central highlight of the venue - spacious and easy to maneuver and still able to accommodate a wedding party of 150+ people. Though compact, you can't walk five feet without a stunning view. Indoor and outdoor abound, crowned by a recently constructed dining hall. There's a perfect blend of old school, Austin cool and chic modern decor here. Even for our party of 100+, there was plenty of shade and plenty of space to socially distance. My husband and I got married here in August of 2015. This was the first and only venue we looked at. We set up a tour via email and the staff communicated promptly and enthusiastically. We toured the venue with Christina 9 months prior to our wedding day and at that point they were already booking up for August. Christina was so approachable, answered every question above and beyond, and most importantly to us was upfront and honest about the venue, experience, cost, etc. We made the decision to book the very next day. Everything from there on out was smooth sailing thanks to the amazing staff at Stonehouse Villa. The contract was upfront and clear, there are no hidden costs or restrictions at this venue, and they are more than willing to answer any questions you have immediately. Making the payments were very easy and the price for the amazing quality you're getting is more than fair. As our day grew closer I am sure I drove Christina crazy with the number of questions or requests I sent her via email but she ALWAYS responded promptly and made sure to address my questions and meet every request she could. One of the reasons my husband and I went with this venue is because we were able to bring everything in to have exactly the wedding we wanted to. We went with a taco truck for dinner which was so fun and Stonehouse Villa had a perfect location for the truck and knew exactly how to work with that type of vendor. We brought our alcohol in from Party Barn and privately hired two bartenders which worked out wonderfully. We organized a bus service for our guests from the center of Austin to the venue to avoid any one drinking and driving through those hill country roads. As a bonus to the venue, I used Christina's floral services and yet again blew me away with the quality and care put into the service. I had a very restricted flower budget and she worked with me to make sure everything looked beautiful even on a budget, I was over the moon happy with my flowers. The day of went so smoothly and I could not have imagined a better day or venue to host it. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything was. Although it was sweltering hot that day, the industrial cooling units on the porch made sure everyone was cool enough to get on the dance floor and the indoor areas were well air conditioned. Because of my strict budget, my sister in law provided day of coordination services for me, but Stonehouse Villa offers these services at a fair price and I am confident they would do an amazing job at that as well. Again, I could not have imagined a better setting or staff to help us have the best day of our lives. I would highly recommend Stonehouse Villa. read more

We visited here Saturday for a friend's wedding. I was blown away. The location is gorgeous. The building looked like a Tuscan country house tucked away in an open field. The inside was rustic but still had modern charm. The wedding ceremony was held outside under large trees that were decorated with lanterns. There were benches for guests to sit on. One thing I remember the bride being impressed with was that the staff allowed her to have the final say for an indoor or outdoor ceremony with the temperamental weather that day. The reception and dance floor were on the outdoor raised deck with a chandelier adorned tent over it. The sides of the tent were clear so guests could enjoy the views of the surrounding fields and trees. The food was delicious as well. The one dish that stood out for me was the three types of gourmet mac n cheese. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. read more

We booked Stone House Villa before even taking a tour inside for our wedding in May. We fell in love with the beautiful outdoor space and the large white tent in case it rained and knew it was the venue for us! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect (even with a little rain). We had about 130 guest and there was plenty of space for everyone to eat, drink and dance! Kim and her staff were so great to work with and did an amazing job. The venue was so perfect and looked so wonderful in our wedding photos. We got married on a Sunday, so the price was just right for our budget. I attended an event here this weekend and was blown away by the gorgeous property. I have seen many beautiful wedding photos taken here and it truly is as breathtaking as the photos. The photo ops here are endless. The property is back up to sprawling ranch land. Their are many old towering trees providing ample shade and lounging chairs were available to relax in outside. The event I attended included a roast and they had fire pits and I liked they were close enough to see and get a whiff of that lingering wonderful smell but far enough away to not smell of smoke at the end of the day. There is a patio complete with nice communal seating, a dance floor and a stage for live music. Indoors was equally beautiful and served as an area for enjoying cuisine. We recently had our wedding here in May and it was fantastic! The weather was beautiful. I loved the venue because the staff was so flexible. It was perfect to have outside, but you were comforted knowing that if it rained that it would still hold a lot of people and look gorgeous with that limestone rock on the inside. Because it is located on a hill, you have a great view of the surrounding countryside, and it turned out to be the ideal spot for a day of meditation and reflection. Beware of booking here. I don't agree with how they handled the cancelling of my event, in which I gave a 7 month in advance notice. Their contract wording is ambiguous regarding this "If the agreement is terminated by the Lessee more than 90 days prior to the event, 1/2 of the Rental Fee will be refunded to the Lessee". Since I paid a deposit I requested that I should get 1/2 of that deposit back, according to the wording above, but they are flat out refusing to work with me on this. They offered to refund the deposit only if the date was booked. Guess they didn't work very hard to fill the date as it is 10 days out and still available. You would think that a hill country venue would be booked for every weekend during the Spring/Texas wildflower season, right? read more

Christina was wonderful to work with. She went above and beyond for our wedding and was extremely helpful. Stonehouse Villa is not only a stunning venue they treat their customers wonderfully. Christina listened to all my requests and gave helpful suggestions as well as letting me use some of the venue's LED candles for my reception. I dropped my wedding band on the deck at the end of the reception and the owner and Christina promptly helped my parents retrieve it from under the deck for me the next day. This venue is decorated so well (owned by the folks that own Decorum in The Hill Country Galleria) that you don't even have to do much to it. The aesthetic went well with our winter wedding and was a wonderful reflection of our tastes-a little modern and a little old fashioned and vintage. There is absolutely no wedding venue in town that can compare with Stonehouse Villa on beauty, professionalism, and price! The venue itself is stunning. The 1920s home, situated amongst old arching oak trees on pastoral hills, has been updated in gorgeous neutrals that go with any color. It also has a fireplace that you see immediately when you walk in through the front door. I had a winter wedding it the lit fireplace made it SO cozy and intimate. There is also a huge fabulous covered porch for dancing, mingling, bar set up, and even space for dining if you prefer outdoors to indoors. As one yelper already said, the place is so beautiful, there is very little that needs to added, just what you want to make it your own. They also have tons of farm house tables, benches, white folding chairs, and decorating accessories you can and SHOULD rent. As you don't have to pay a delivery fee, the cost is below market value. Not to mention, it makes it much easier for you to worry about one less contract and delivery/set-up. Also, perhaps the best part is the manager Christina. This is a lady who is on top of everything Stonehouse Villa. She is incredibly organized, kind in a much desired salt-of-the-earth fashion! So reassuring to be around. She's also a savvy businesswoman. When I gave her my budget, she was absolutely able to work with it and even thought creatively about how to cut costs on top of my already tight budget!!! She also knows how to best utilize the space and is incredibly generous with her time. This place and manager are amazing! read more

My husband and I had our wedding at Stonehouse Villa on April 12, 2014 and loved everything about it! The venue is amazing, like a hidden treasure in the middle of a small town. The entire property is very well maintained and all of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. The venue is so well decorated that we needed very few extras to make it great. It was so convenient to be able to rent all of the tables, chairs, linens and directly from them. We also hired Christina to be our day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! While I did a majority of the planning myself, she was always available to recommend vendors, ideas and answer my many questions. She was able to understand my vision and executed everything to my liking. About a month before she started contacting all of my vendors and having meetings to make sure everyone was on the same page. On the day-of Christina was awesome from the setup to getting ready, keeping vendors organized and keeping us on track with our desired timeline.
