    Trash disorganization.

    I was looking back at my wedding photos from 2021 and had to circle back to make everyone knows how much trouble Everlasting Elopements was. Photos ticked me off all over again. I left a review on another site, but I saw their Google rating which CANNOT be accurate. So, here I am. With my experience, the delayed responding to emails when I was trying to organize is one thing... But, What killed me most (and almost quite literally lead to a breach of contract lawsuit) was when they double booked us and we had to move our date and inconvenience our small number of guests traveling not only from out of the state, but one family traveling from out of the country. Then, the audacity to let me know less than one week before that the 2 hours we BOOKED, PAID FOR, CONTRACTED FOR, would be cut to one hour for some reason or another that made no sense at the time. I have ample emails from this incredibly unprofessional, disorganized group. Maybe things have changed since 2021, but if not, see my attachments. I have ample emails to support everything I am writing, plus support for a host of other issues we experienced. Thankfully, I was able to completely go around this company, call the facility myself, and work something out with them that allowed for the full 2 hours. What is most disgusting is the facility (Georgetown, Lincoln Chapel) never even heard from Everlasting Elopements about an issue, about trimming to 1 hour, or about working something out. Meaning Everlasting Elopements, for some reason, told us less than one week before that we now only had 1 hour, but Lincoln Chapel never heard about this. Thus, whatever Everlasting Elopements messed up, they didn't even try to work anything out on our behalf. They just gave the "*shrug*, sorry, oh well" type responses. Everlasting Elopements just trimmed our time for no apparent reason and didn't work for us. Garbage. All it took was a call from me to Lincoln Chapel to fix the issue. After I told the representative all the trouble we faced through Everlasting Elopements, she literally ended the call with "bless your heart." Trash. Finally, I've also attached a photo from the ceremony and you can easily point out the Everlasting Elopement workers. This is not at all a knock on them personally, they were great. But maybe be even more specific than we were about what you want on your day of. Buyer, beware.

    What was supposed to be a great day. Turned into a frustrating time dealing with the wedding planner. Pictured is a text messages with her arguing and telling me first to check my spam, to it's not time yet, to photographer hasn't sent them yet. I had already spoken to the photographer who said she sent the photos 14 days after the wedding. Last Thursday. Throughout our whole process she constantly told us how long she has been planning weddings, and how we are doing it wrong. We are supposed to get a call one week prior to the wedding. The week before... no call. I had to call 3 days before the wedding only to be met with attitude in not knowing I will get a call one week prior to the wedding. Somehow she thinks 3 days was longer than a week and not needed. We did get barraged with emails about the "one week before" call, and we had to take it. But she felt the need to talk down to me as if I didn't know how to read. Her excuse was that she was sick... So were we, but we still had to work. She claims to say she rushed us because of our guests comfort. All of our guests knew the weather and were okay to do what we needed to do. Just because the planner was cold, we all had to deal with her attitude to rush us. Thank GOD we did not trust them to take the Wedding Certificate in. Who knows when it would have happened. Photographer was great, but I would not recommend this place even if it was 75% off. Do not use unless you enjoy being talked down to before, durning, and after the wedding.

    Everlasting Elopements coordinator arrived at my bridal suite 5 mins prior to ceremony starting, handed me a bouquet of flowers that had already begun to wilt, and the satin wrap unraveling. Flower choice for my bouquet were Hydrangea (upcharge even though they were in season), Carnations, and Babies breath. There were no carnations in the bouquet. The coordinator was unprepared, lacked proper time management, and had zero empathy. She acquired warm champagne for my reception while enroute and wasn't tracking my ritual correctly. She didn't bring the runner or rose petals for the aisle. I paid for floral adornments on the cake, which weren't provided. When the coordinator was asked about it, she said, "the cake normally comes plain," and proceeded to pull baby's breath from the altar arrangements, which she stuck into the cake like birthday candles. There was no care for the cake's final appearance. The mini reception should've included enough champagne for 20 guests. The coordinator brought 1 bottle of un-chilled champagne (the company disputes this, they say she brought two [warm] bottles). My husband and I had a full glass for our toast, with guests having the equivalent of a swallow (or two) (also disputed by EE). Since the coordinator, arrived 5 minutes prior, she didn't obtain the passcode for my device, and refused to allow music to be played from other, readily available devices. So there was no music during our event. Lastly, our marriage license wasnt filled completely, so I was turned away when I attempted to have it recorded, leaving my husband and I scrambling to have this fixed. My guests stepped up, assisted the coordinator with setup and tear down for the ceremony, the set up the ritual, they fixed the coordinators floral mess on my cake, and tried to step in and address the music issue. If it weren't for them, my ceremony would have been a disaster. Everlasting Elopements oversold their abilities and under performed. On 25 May 2024, the owner (Kari) responded to my review on weddingwire.com. SHE WOULD SPEAK TO ME IF I REMOVED MY REVIEW FIRST. I refused planning to update my review AFTER resolution was reached. The owner wasn't present at my wedding but would not accept witness statements and disputes my recollection of the level of service provided that day. Kari (the owner) offered to refund the missing runner, flower petals, cake adornments, and coordination fee BUT ONLY IF I AGREED TO 'UPDATE' MY REVIEW FIRST. REFUNDS FOR GOODS/SERVICES THAT AEREN'T PROVIDED, SHOULDN'T HAVE CONDITIONS, so I discontinued communication, accepting they would keep my money and my review woukd remain as is. NEARLY 4 MONTHS LATER, on 3 September 2024, Everlasting Elopements disputed my review on weddingwire.com, attempting to have it hidden and ultimately removed! PLEASE pay special attention to the negative reviews. There is something there! Good luck! *Special notes from my experience* (1) DESPITE THEIR CLAIMS, THE PACKAGES ARE NOT FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE. They never reduce the cost. You have to pick the package that 'fits best' even if it contains services you don't want or need. You can add services but cannot remove them to reduce cost. (2) All communication (from the initial contact to planning your wedding day) will be via email and on online surveys. (3) It's nearly impossible to reach a person in a timely manner. (4) If you'll be using your own venue, I suggest you obtain written assurance from Everlasting Elopements stating they understand and agree to adhere to your venue's requirements. I would also discuss any additional charges associated with this (because they'll likely upcharge for this). (5)There's an upcharge for nearly everything. Keep this in mind because it can become costly. (6) Their contract states that they can refuse to provide services at any time. Additionally, Everlasting Elopements cannot be held liable if they can't perform your ceremony FOR ANY REASON. This didn't happen to me, but it's important to note. CONGRATS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENTS! GOOD LUCK!

    We looked for a place to quietly get married before our big bash in Mexico. This was perfect. Not only was the chapel sweet and quiet but the ceremony itself was unexpectedly loving and warm. My husband and I both had tears streaming down our faces by the time it was over. Cherished memories we will never forget. Definitely get a photo package even if you are only in the office chapel! They turned out great too!

    Our wedding was this past Saturday and the day could not have been more beautiful for a wedding. I was a nervous wreck through the planning process and Kari kept me calm and reassured me, letting me know everything was going to be ready and perfectly fine. The company lived up to that promise and everything was ready to go. The day of was hectic there was construction near the ceremony location but the day of coordinator Madeleine did a fantastic job keeping me calm, letting me know there was plenty of time. She explained how we were going to walk out, she took the music and had everything ready for us. The officiant did a great job of delivering the script making the ceremony feel like he's known us for years. The photographer did a great job of capturing the moments, after he got plenty of family photos for us. The entire ceremony was beautiful we had great weather and fantastic people running the event. My husband and I were blessed to have had Everlasting Elopements help make our day special. I highly recommend them if you are planning your wedding and want to minimize the stress.

    I don't know where to begin on my horrible experience with Everlasting Elopements. I could write a really long story but don't want to waste anymore time than I already have. Bottom line is I had the absolute worst nightmare come true. At the very last minute- the day before my destination wedding- I find out they hadn't ordered ANY of my flowers (bouquets, bouttineres, corsage, flower petals and aisle floral decor)-- even though I filled out a flower form with discoid details. I had to make an emergency order and pay for it separately, even though it was supposed to be included in my package. After that, it was one thing after another on my wedding day: 1) my Cake and gift tables were not on order; ended up only receiving the cake table 2) the color of chair sashes were peach, not pink 3) they left out acknowledging past loved ones in the ceremony-- very, very upsetting. After the minister pronounced us husband and wife, I was like.. umm is he going to acknowledge my grandparents?? We were supposed to turn around to the guests but instead I was asking him about it. He said I'm sorry I don't know anything about that. And instead of a big smile on my face I was so upset!! 4) cake was horrible and dry 5) too many chairs and tables delivered 6) the coordinator did not know how to pin the bouttineres- pins were sticking out and the bouttineres were falling 7) even though I filled out a long form asking for specific details about the ceremony, it was not communicated to the coordinator at the ceremony so She was asking me questions about how I wanted things-I already answered in the form and the last thing I wanted to do was COORDINATE the wedding!!!!!!!! 8) the aisle floral decor was a joke and expensive I spoke to The owner, Kari, just hours before my wedding and I just couldn't believe my ears. She was so rude. She was accusing me of being confused about what I ordered (I have proof of what I ordered and she still said I was wrong) and blaming me for not catching their mistakes. I felt completely defeated and cheated. My father graciously paid for a wedding coordinator service and that is not what we got-- at all. I tried my best not to break down on my wedding day. I was so upset not only by all the things that went wrong with my order but by the way Kari was speaking to me. Absolutely NO compassion or let me fix this and make it all better. She did not budge and she was completely out of line. Kari has no clue 1) how to treat people in the Customer service industry, 2) she does not comprehend follow thru 3) she does not understand that the industry she chose to attempt to build a company in requires compassion, thorough communication, attention to detail, etc. and 4) lastly I am positive she purposefully left out a very important part of my ceremony, where Everlasting Elopements asked me if I wanted to acknowledge past loved ones, which I did,.. and somehow that was not communicated to the minister or the coordinator. If anyone wants to hear more about my experience please feel free to contact me. There are so many things you need to look out for, but while in the middle of planning a wedding and with everything going on (not to mention COVID interruptions) you'll want to make sure you don't miss anything and then you have to suffer for it. I would hate for anyone to risk such an important milestone to be ruined. Just don't risk it. Move on to another wedding planner.

This particular ordeal cost me almost a year's wage and we had to take out a loan that would take me two years to pay back. When this company saw my review they got back to me and started to follow up more attentively. They let me know that they had no intention or committing any type of fraud or misleading me. They did the job the best way they could but could not help me recover my birth certificate and the next day after reaching out to me they refunded my money in full. I by no means feel victorious if anything I feel like a "karen" leaving a bad review and now feel bad that they gave me my money back but it shows that they care a lot about their reputation and their business dealings. I wish I could have had the birth certificate instead of the money but it was real gentleman like for them to just give me back the money they did not keep one cent of the money and they were not mean or rude about giving it back. I hope everyone who deals with them from here forth knows that even though I did not get what I wanted these people are honest and trustworthy.
