Honestly the worst law firm I've ever seen. Used them off a recommendation from some one I later…read morefound out never used them. They were handling my wife's immigration and started by telling us how horrible a position we were in, scaring us, and raising their prices. They almost missed our filling date out of sheer incompetence. Me and my wife did all the firm's ourselves. They charged 2500 just to mail it. After the filing they were mia. We asked for consolation to know what to expect in our immigration interview and they flat out stated "we have no idea what they'll ask" which tells me they've never done this before. When we asked for any help they said they "have no idea how that whole process works". Worst law firm ever. Sheer incompetence.

Tammy Wincott has been the best resource and advocate for me and my family as we faced the sudden…read moredeath of my younger brother who left no will. After researching various attorneys online (and speaking with a few), I have found that Ms. Wincott proved to be the most open and honest. When other attorneys were trying to tangle the family up in a myriad of complicated and unnecessary steps, Ms. Wincott advised of the most direct (and most cost-effective) route that allowed us to get the results that we needed. In addition, I was so impressed by the fact that she took the time to listen to the needs of the family and to even take a moment to listen to my tear-ridden grief. Indeed, Ms. Wincott is not only a well-informed, top-notch attorney, she is also someone who clearly cares about her clients.

I can't explain how much paralegal service have helped me ! Brinda herself the owner worked hand in…read morehand with me to help my husband and I find out what we needed to do to be able to have rightful visits with our daughter . We couldn't afford an attorney so I haired another agency to help write up some documents the consisted of an enforcement order and a Patition to Modify the current order my step daughter lives in TX and we are in SD so it was really difficult to do anything or know what was right or wrong to do . This other company totally ripped us off never listened to my requests and just did what they wanted basically so when I called Paralegal Service Brinda was like a breath of freash air she's so professional she helped us higher an attorney just for the time we needed to revise the paperwork before filing and of course there was so many modifications needing to be made her helped us understand the holes in the current court order and get the ball rolling in the right direction. All we wanted is the right to have visitations with my step daughter and be able to have a positive impact on her life and make sure she knows she's got a father a stepmother and other siblings who love her . This place literally will change how our daughter will be raised and who she will become now that we can see her and she'll know she's loved . I truly can't thank you enough Brinda . She is so genuinely kind and cares about people anytime we spoke it was like talking to a friend . Thank you for all you do !

By September 5th, my divorce was finalized. I loved working with Laura Castro and Pat Cruz. Both ladies were an absolute joy to work with. At the very beginning, Laura told me what I could expect and she always kept me updated with my case. I didn't even have to reach out to request a status. Thank you very much for helping me. I will definitely recommend them should any of my friends need a lawyer.

Do NOT use this law firm. I was recently divorced. My husband put out an emergency protective order…read moreagainst me. During the final signing of the decree, 2 dates were discussed as to when I could go to my home to retrieve my items. Unbeknownst to me, they were not listed on the divorce decree. When I arrived at my home, I was as arrested for violating the emergency protective order. The only thing Lisa could say was "sorry"! In the decree, I was awarded the car. During the final signing, I had to sign a power of attorney for my ex husband's truck and he was to sign a POA awarding me the car. Two months later and I still haven't received the POA! I asked Lisa and she told me to go to my ex's attorney and ask him. In the final signing, a verbal agreement was made that my ex would have our home on the market by the 20th of January. Two months later and the home isnt on the market. I had no idea that Lisa did put the date in the decree. I'm currently stuck with a $6,000 bill and a criminal record and I never stepped foot in front of the judge. SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY. I am in the process of filing a grievance against this law firm with the bar association.

Poor representation for contested divorce case, borderline negligence. If you are in a contested…read moredivorce or custody case I would not recommend them. Rates are very reasonable, however in this case you do get what you pay for. My case started as uncontested - but later changed. Communication with the attorney himself is limited and managed by his paralegal. Tammy was professional and responsive, however when speaking to Jesus himself he seemed unfamiliar with my case. He never gave me the feeling he cared and appeared to be content with whatever the "norm" for the state was vs. fighting for my rights as a father. At the temporary hearing, Jesus was timid, and outmatched by the opposing counsel. No-one from the firm prepared me for court. I had never been to court before and informed them of this, and even asked what I should expect. I wasn't given any guidance whatsoever. I didn't know I was going to take the stand and answer questions from both attorneys. He had several opportunities to redirect as well as address discrepancies from my wife's testimony and income to expenses, but did not. At the end, he expressed to the judge he had a flight to catch, and the lightbulb moment came on for me. I appreciate this office waiving remaining fees when I decided to change counsel and have new representation.

After dealing with a frustrating post-bankruptcy issue, Heidi stepped in and helped me navigate a…read moresituation that had left me feeling stuck and unsupported. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine concern for doing what's right stood out immediately. She took the time to understand my case, offered clear guidance, and followed through when others wouldn't. Heidi's the kind of lawyer who treats you like a person--not just a file--and makes you feel like your case matters. When I write my one-star review for Allmand Law, I'll be sure to give Heidi an honorable mention as the kind of attorney who actually advocates for her clients instead of leaving them to clean up the mess alone. If you're looking for someone who's sharp, ethical, and committed to justice, Heidi McLeod is exactly who you want in your corner.

She also "misspoke" some key dollar amounts directly to the judge and I had to step in with corrections. Finally, she failed to pass on the necessary forms for our mortgage to be reaffirmed after ending the bankruptcy period, which resulted in the inability to refinance that mortgage. I later saw proof of her receiving those forms in a separate meeting with the bank.
