Firefly Acres is centrally located in Middle Tennessee, offering five clean and comfortable rental cabins, a beautiful special events Pavilion with stack stone fireplace and board certified commercial kitchen, horse training and horse training clinics. We host weddings, birthday parties, church groups, business meetings and teambuilding, horse clinics, and horse lessons. Our cabins are located between five stellar parks including Fall Creek Falls, Burgess Falls, Rock Island State Park, The Virgin Falls, and Cummins Falls. Our 45 acres offers hiking trails and a campfire pit. One of our cabins has a private hot tub and three are pet friendly. Come and visit our beautiful serene horse farm, you won't be disappointed!
History
Established in 2008.
Firefly Acres started off as an overgrown 45 acre raw piece of property that we have carefully developed over the past 10 years. We started with our Big Red Barn, 80 X 120 ft arena, and 60 ft round pen. Then we carefully selected a spot for our 35 X 35 ft pavilion with a stack stone fireplace, two bathrooms, a board certified commercial kitchen, and professional sound system. Next we added our first three cabins, which were so successful...we built two more. All of them have different floor plans and are decorated individually. We chose plush comfy pillowtop matresses, and the views off the back porch are simply stunning. Come check it out!
Meet the Business Owner: Pete and Bambi D.
Pete has over 40 years of experience training and working with horses. He uses Natural Horse Training techniques and specialized in training people how to train their horse. He keeps his horse clinics small intentionally so he can give special attention to all who attend. Bambi has been in the hospitality business for over 30 years. She loves to cook and entertain, however....you can also rent the commercial kitchen if you like to cook yourselves! Combining our two loves came easily when we started developing Firefly Acres!
