This location is definitely smaller than the downtown one so you might need a reservation if you're looking at a busy time!

I worked at Jams for eight years, and was at this location for four of those years. Unfortunately, from what I have experienced and heard from others, it has definitely gone downhill. Our server did not do a great job, I saw her standing around a bit, so she was not too busy, but we struggled to get anything to our table. We ran out of water and never got anymore, as we didn't have an opportunity to ask. It took us quite a while to be checked on after our food was dropped, so we waited to get extra sauces that we needed. Overall, she did not do a good job at checking on us through our entire visit. The food here is still good. In my opinion, the coconut chicken salad has always been my favorite, but I was disappointed to see that it is much smaller than it used to be (I did order the full). The flavor of the dressing is still the same, and the ingredients are unchanged, but there was a much lesser ratio of toppings to lettuce this time around. The most disappointing part was that I asked for a dinner roll at the end of my visit, as I was still hungry. Our server took back my checkbook so that she could ring this in, and I was charged a dollar for the role. The menu still states that dinner rolls are available upon request, so this was disappointing. The salad should've been $20 for a full salad, as shrimp is the same price as the coconut chicken I substituted at four. I was charged $24 for the salad. Slight mistake mistakes like this are not the end of the world, but really do show the downhill direction. This restaurant has gone, unfortunately. I will stop in again, but only because I have a gift card to use up. Otherwise, I will check out the downtown location and hopefully have better luck there!

It was the Michael Jordan of Hotel Showers - but not in a good way - for a petite woman. If you happen to be an NBA player looking for a shower head perfectly positioned for your towering frame, stop scrolling! This is your five-star sanctuary. As for the rest of us--specifically, us vertically challenged humans (like myself, a proud 5'4") - I can only assume this shower head was installed as a cruel joke by a very tall person. The shower head is so high that by the time the water completes its long, harrowing journey from the nozzle down to my head, the velocity and temperature are severely diminished. It starts as a promising torrent, but by the time it reaches my scalp, it has diffused into a few sad drips. The net effect is less "invigorating cascade" and more "nervous, incontinent mouse attempting to lightly mark my territory." I attempted a vigorous vertical jump but realized how dangerous that might be. So instead, I spent about 20 minutes trying to rinse the conditioner out of my hair. I never returned to the shower for the rest of the entire four-day stay. I apologize to every person I stood next to in the elevator on those days. Pro Tip: Bring a small ladder. But in all fairness, my dog absolutely loved the place! And so did I! The bed was comfy (ask my dog!), the staff was great, and the neighborhood was superb. Other than spending four days as a stinky social outcast, the stay was actually wonderful! Four stars!

Not only did I get to witness the huge slowdown of the system going down, which I understand- it happens, but when a kid lost it during that time, the worker dropped slurs and insults toward a kid. I don't care how bad your day was, or how frustrated you are. You lost my business. Using the r-slur against a child is cruel and extremely unprofessional. There are dozens of places nicer within walking distance.
