I have reviewed this restaurant almost a year ago. I go back every other month and today was the day. I'm all in on their version of Singapore noodles with shrimp! It's such a simple dish but if you cook it yourself, it is a big hassle! So, I take a detour from I-10 west and head to Huebner Oaks. The food is always delicious and hot! Service is fast and friendly. The lady that takes the orders is so friendly, she wanted to share my noodles with me! The place was not busy when I went to order. It was after the lunch crowd has dissipated. The ambiance is quiet and just the busy noise of the kitchen crew making to go meals and diners like me. I love this place. It is truly my go to place for a delicious lunch when I'm in SA!

I met 2 new friends for lunch last Friday. Since we were going to the Regal Huebner Oaks movie theater to watch "Chosen," I suggested either @salata or @firewok. My friend, Ana, was good with @firewok. It's a simple Asian/Chinese restaurant where you order at the counter, take a number, and they serve food at your table. I ordered the Lemon Fish, which was tasty and just the right amount of food. Ana had the Teriyaki Bowl and Julie had the General Tso's dish. We all were happy with the proteins. The rice was slightly undercooked. Overall, a good experience!

A special order, the lettuce wraps as healthy as they could make it with just a little sauce love this place

I love this place because even though I am trying to eat healthy, they are so kind and willing to adjust their sauces to just the right amount for me. I've been coming here for over 10 years and I love the management. They are sweet as can be, they really care about their business and I love the food. It is so so so good.

Great lunch spot! I've been here a couple times - once with coworkers and most recently with my boyfriend, both times for lunch during the week. There is a decent amount of space, and they're quick to get tables clean during the lunch rush. It's a good space, not too crowded, really casual. The levers on the soda machine were broken for a couple of the drink options. I've had the chow fun, pad Thai, and spring rolls, and what I will say is that while the food is great seasoning wise, the trend I've noticed is that the noodles feel a little undercooked for my taste - not hard, but definitely not the soft super cooked texture I would prefer. I think it might just be cranking the food out for speed. However, nothing egregious - good lunch, and I will definitely be around more often!

This was the lo mein noodle with the hair.

This evening my family member received his lo mein meal per usual , however this time he was left with several hair strands tangled around his lo mein. When asked why this occurred the respondent did not know what a hair net was after we told him what had happened. I ask that all who patronize this establishment please be aware of the unsanitary practices in this establishment.

Lo que más me gustó fue el servicio. Las personas que nos atendieron nos trataron muy bien y eso es un plus. El ambiente del lugar es tranquilo, apenas para un lunch break.

I paid less than $10 for the chicken pad Thai. I didn't think the flavor was anything exceptional. But the portion size was HUGE. I was able to make a second meal from it. If you don't eat a lot in one sitting I'm sure you could make 3 meals from this portion. The service was standard. You order at the register. I like that there is seating inside and outside !

Another craving for their delicious, mouthwatering Tori Katsu Bento satisfied with yet another visit. Although most of the ladies on the waitstaff speak limited English, their warm hospitality and attentive service more than make up for any language barrier. Customer service has always been friendly, efficient, and welcoming, This tiny Japanese kitchen is almost always packed during lunch and dinner, which speaks volumes about its popularity. We visited again three weeks ago for lunch, and once again, we left completely satisfied. Ordering their freshly prepared Tori Katsu Bento has become a tradition for me. Every component of the meal comes together beautifully--the crisp shredded lettuce with its flavorful dressing. The small serving of pickled carrots and radish, the warm and comforting miso soup, and the fragrant toasted sesame seeds that you grind yourself before mixing them into the katsu sauce, enhancing its rich, nutty aroma. The star of the meal, of course, is Tori Katsu: perfectly crisp and golden in the outside, yet tender, juicy, and incredibly flavorful on the inside. It's satisfying and comforting bento that never disappoints. Hoka Hoka Fuku Japanese Kitchen remains one of my favorite places to enjoy authentic Japanese comfort food. With consistently delicious dishes, fast and efficient service, and excellent customer care, it's a restaurant and always look forward to visiting. It always hits the spot, and it's always consistently delicious.

I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

I have been a regular go this place for years. So many that the woman who answered the phone often…read moreknew me and my order before I could even say it. Over those years I have never seen many cars here, no matter the time of day. I'd admit, the main reason I went was the drive through. The sushi was mid teir at best. The rice has always been unseasoned and late at night, obviously left over from the lunch service. The nigiri is often improperly ratio'd and never comparable between previous visits. Most of the rolls are an assault to the senses and I normally stayed between 5 of them. I believe they use aggressive ingredients to hide their average fish quality. Its not terrible, but I never had the desire to order their sashimi. My second to last visit i requested if I could sub out salmon instead of a tuna. An easy enough change, which every sushi place ive ever been to, was the same price. I was met with the information it would be a 5 dollar sub fee. Which is very high for most places. More so when its only difference is what fish you grab from the cooler. I declined the sub. My last, and it will be my last, I called in an order at 12:18. Ordered what I've always ordered and got there pretty promptly. Waited in the drive through behind another car for about twenty minutes. When it was finally my turn I paid and waited. Waited till about 1 o'clock when thr woman ducked her head out and side they are working in my last roll. I asked if it would always be this long. So immediately snapped at me with "we open at 12:45" and shut the windows. With the tone like I was the one out of line when it was them who answered and took my order at 12:18. Was another 10 minutes or so before I finally got my order. If this is the treatment that a loyal regular, who they know the order before they even say it, is treated, I feel bad for the new comers. I will admit the main reason I came here is the drive through as its a unique characteristic not offered at many other places. But before you try this place, keep my review in mind, and the fact theres likely going to be one other car there, and they have to serve things like "sushi in a tube" to make up for a lack of anything actually special to offer.
