Juliana is the best! Had her for a Frozen birthday party at a park back in February. She was warm and full of energy! All kids adored her and the parents enjoyed being able to sit back and relax. At one point, we couldn't get the lighter to work for the birthday cake, I was about to panic. But, Juliana cleverly came up with the pixie dust for my girl to make a wish and blow the dust away! Erin was Sleeping Beauty for my daughter's 4th birthday and she was absolutely wonderful! She arrived promptly (and even called us to arrange her entrance), was fully in character the entire time, entertained all the children for an hour straight, and all the while made my daughter feel extra special. My husband signed me up for private fire eating lessons for my birthday. What a treat! I had more fun that I expected and I had high expectations! Darrell spent a good deal of time going over fire and safety instructions. I felt very confident working with him and the fire. We made torches on the first day and I was able to take them home to practice with. He explained which fuels were safe to use and which were toxic and how to avoid catching myself on fire. We took lots of photos and videos during my final performance and practice session. I was excited to be able to share with my friends and family proof of my wild new talent. I even got to catch my husbands hand on fire during my lesson. Talk about trust! I highly recommend Fire Pixie to anyone wanting to pick up a new talent like Fire Eating; or are simply just interested in trying something out once for a good story and photo opportunity. i used this company last year 2009 for my kids birthday and they where great this is the best company you can use for your kids birthday i got mini mouse for my kids birthday they had mini mouse and assistance for mini mouse which help her with the activities they had basketball for the boys they had activities for girls and boys.they had bean bag tosing they had music and play with kids they had ballon animals making and lost of activities for the kids and my kid love mini mouse. she took pictures with kids and did face painting. and at the end my kid love her she was crying cause she was living but told her she would be seeing her soon which calm her down which i thought it was really nice of her to do that so my kid stop crying they where best i recomen them for kids birthday. it was better then using magic princess that i used this year which was a major let down. fire pixie is number #1 no dow hands down to fire pixie best performence ever takes #1 read more

I hired this place for my daughter's 5th birthday party - we were having 20 kids over from her preschool and I needed a way to keep them entertained for 3 hours. Erin was amazingly helpful! She was professional, responsive and helped me organize everything for that day (picked out the activities like magic, balloons, face painting and glitter tattoos and coordinated a bouncy house to be delivered that day as well). The bouncy house came on time and the guy who set it up was super professional - it was up in 15 minutes! Although Erin (Belle from Beauty and the Beast) was about 30 minutes late to the party, she did call twice to give me an ETA and there wasn't much of a disruption anyway since the kids were busy playing in the bouncy house and trying on the different butterfly wings and tiaras (and capes for the boys). When she arrived, the kids were AMAZED!!! "OMG - the princess is here!!!" She kept them engaged and laughing! Her face painting skills were amazing - she did the makeup for 14 girls and 5 boys (mostly Spiderman) - they all loved it! The only bad thing was what some of the other yelpers said - her costume looks like it's done its time. It was tattered in some places and she looked a bit disheveled....the kids didn't notice though since they were so enamored - they really thought she was Belle! Overall the party was a hit - the kids were still talking about it in school the next day and all the moms told me I set the bar REALLY high as far as kids' birthday parties go now! There are kids that are now asking their parents for a bouncy house and Belle at THEIR birthday parties now. :) Thank you Fire Pixie! I would definitely use you again! read more

As with so many others who have already commented on this site, I am in awe of the quality of the performer we had for my daughter's 8th birthday party. I specifically asked for Stephanie to play Elsa for our "Frozen"-themed party because of the great reviews about her here on Yelp. I was far from disappointed. She was Elsa for the entire 90 minutes of the party and held the attention of the dozen 7- and 8-year-olds (as well as many of the parents who stuck around). In hindsight, I wish only that we had her stay another 30 minutes, given how successful the event was and her role in making it so. I highly recommend Fire Pixie Entertainment, and both Erin (who provided impeccable customer service in setting up the event) and Stephanie as star performers in their respective ways. read more

I don't recommend them if you are interested in a Child's Birthday Entertainer.I have to mention I was thoroughly dissatified. The lady showed up 25 minutes late, with girls very much in anticipation and when she showed up she came in looking very "disheveled." (there were stains on her pink dress!!) The she promptly said "Sorry I am late, and unfortunately we forgot the magic today (which we picked as one of our three options) but we have balloons." I did not want balloons (and didn't pick this event because we have 12-18 months old that like to put these in their mouths, and don't like the choking hazards left in my house when they pop!! )There was all really that she had time for because it took so long paint on stencil tatooes and blow up balloons. I have hired Entertainers all throughout (my three kids) parties and this Entertainer was the bottom of the pits. I found this to be a bad experience, and not at all worth the money. The owner apologized by email and refunded only $50.00 of my money. I felt this was abhorent service. If I could, I would have turned the Entertainer away at the door but I had 10 kids awaiting in anticipation (mind you already 25 minutes late) she actually scared some of the adults with the way she looked (dirty princess dress and a wig that was half way put on!) I gave the "owner "an opportunity to get back to me (which she said she would to discuss this matter further. But she did not respond further and decided to cash my check. Almost $200.00 dollars for a memory of my child's 6th birthday that I wish I could forget! One star because I cant rate any lower. read more

I have hired Drea, one of Fire Pixie's entertainers, to perform at my 5-year old's birthday celebration at her preschool. When arranging things, the administrator Erin was especially helpful for me when I could not understand how to choose from the different entertainment options. Drea has also personally called me a couple of days before the party to make things easier. I found that, as a business, Fire Pixies were easy to communicate with and Drea (as Elsa) was a great success for all kids, even boys. just attended a ninja themed bday celebration for 5-7 year olds. ninja dan completely killed it with the set of rambunctious five year old boys using his arsenal of balloon arts (swords, animals, flowers!!), jokes, and magic tricks. we are definitely calling him next time we host a bday party. read more

We hired Fire Pixie for my daughter's 6th birthday party and she loved it! Adveep was very sweet with all the kids and made my daughter feel very special. The kids all loved the magic show and I really appreciated that Adveep didn't hesitate to crawl into the "fort" (a tent we set up at the park) to play with the kids. The only negative thing I could say is that the face painting could use some work. Some of the kids had very cute butterfly face paint, some had unidentifiable creatures on their faces. My daughter commented that her unicorn looked more like a dragon since it had no mane and the horn came out of the nose rather than the head. If the face painting had been more professional, I would give them 5 stars. read more

Erin-as-Cinderella arrived at our house on the dot of the appointed time, stayed in character every second she was in the house and had our thirteen child guests spellbound. This is our 2nd year to use Fire Pixie as last year we had Erin come and my Daughter has not stopped talking about it since. All she wanted was a repeat of the "most incredible day of her life" for this year. Erin was spectacular with EVERYTHING she did. Unfortunately this year Erin was not available so I took a chance on someone else. While my daughter still had fun and enjoyed it (so she said), the new person was no where near the caliber. Her magic was pretty dull and short, no story telling and basically spent the whole time face painting 15 girls which was mediocre too. She was on time and sweet though. The company is great but my only advice it to make sure the actual entertainer is highly regarded. You can't recreate these moments once they are gone so I'm a bit sad. My daughter said she wants to do something different next year which to me says a lot. read more

I recently hired Erin St. Blaine for our WinterWonderland Prom Holiday Party for a sutterhealth hospital affiliate. She exceeded my expectations. When I hired her I thought she would dance using her led wings only but when she started dancing using different led props, everyone watching were amazed with the lightshow. Her performance was one of the highlights of the party. Everyone enjoyed it. She even stayed for photo ops with guests. Her services was worth it. I would highly reccommend her. read more

I needed some entertainment for my little one's birthday party. She was turning one and there was going to be about 30 to 40 kids attending the party. Clowns seemed appropriate, but not the scary clowns! The great things about FirePixie is that they have a lot of their clowns on their website so you can see them and a description of their work online before you book them. I chose Sarah and Krista. Due to the number of kids invited, two clowns seemed to be needed for what I wanted them to do at the party. They were going to do some bubble play, balloon animals, face painting, and a little magic show. FirePixie is very easy to book and work with to plan for your party. Sarah and Krista arrived right on time, and got straight to it, which was a great help for me since there was so much going on with the party. The kids really enjoyed them and everything that they did. I will definitely be booking with FirePixie in the future. 5 stars. read more

I was sadly very disappointed in the quality of the Elsa that I got for my daughters' birthday party. They are obsessed with Elsa and I had recently been to another birthday party where Fire Pixie provided an Elsa that was amazing (her name was Stephanie). She was so amazing, I asked for her card and decided I'd have her at my girls' party. Well, since Stephanie wasn't available, I settled for the one that was; Her name was Drea. However, when I inquired if she was as good, I was given reassurances that she was a great singer, etc. But she didn't sing at all. She played the song and waved her hands. WHA???? Her appearance was exceptional, and she seemed like a nice and patient girl. But, she didn't command the attention of the audience or engage them very well, her performance was unstructured and after the first few minutes, it seems to slowly degenerate to the point of chaos. She didn't do bubbles, even though I had explicitly asked for that as a main activity. She also didn't sing Let It Go twice, as I had asked. (Or even once, for that matter) I definitely feel like I've been had. I paid too much and I was very disappointed. When I called to express my disappointment, the owner was very receptive and appreciative, but offered no discount or monetary adjustment. So, I'm going to do the only thing I can do, which is provide negative feedback so that others don't end up feeling like I do. Drea seemed nice and patient and I feel badly about criticizing her performance, but it needs some work, if she's going to be the main event of a birthday party. read more

Our ELSA was fantastic! She called the day before the party to confirm, arrived on time (early), and started entertaining right away. While I wanted to do the magic show first, the kids were arriving late. So Elsa suggested that she start doing face painting while we wait -- loved it! Her magic show kept both kids and parents entertained and scratching their kids. Face painting was simple and quick -- just what we needed for 20+ kids. Lastly, she sang Let it Go, and it was amazing. She had a great voice and sounded just like Elsa. In fact, a handful of kids were asking me where is Anna? We had Andrew come to our 6 year old's birthday party as a Jedi. The booking process was very quick and I was impressed with the professionalism of Fire Pixie and Andrew, who called prior to the party to confirm the location and discuss what the expect at the event and find out if I had any specific preferences. On the day of the event he was punctual and highly engaged. He immediately gathered the kids and got to work. He had a show with them and then did light saber training. They absolutely loved it and were engaged for more than one hour. The training ended with their own balloon sabers which they all loved. They day of the party, Stephanie showed up to a princess party in full swing! Erin was great! She came dressed up as a Diva for my daughter's 7th birthday party. She did gorgeous face painting, glitter tatoos, hair bling, and taught them all a dance. We had 13 girls at the party and she did it all in just about an hour. She had great conversations with the kids and kept them all involved. Her voice is magnificent - even on a difficult song like Let It Go - and she hit all those very hard high notes, so that all the adults in the audience were saying WOW, even as the kids were completely captivated. I had Stephanie, Julie, and Jacob as Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff for my daughter's birthday. They were amazing! I can't say enough...every single guest at the party had nothing but great things to say about the team. They performed magic, sang, did face painting, and balloon twisting for about 22 children. And they did it all in 90 minutes! The children were completely mesmerized (I'm pretty sure the adults were, too!) From the very beginning, I worked with Anna at Fire Pixie who helped me choose and finalize everything via email or phone. I also received phone calls 1-3 days before from the artists to confirm and go over the event details. They were courteous, friendly, and professional the entire time...even when stopped on the street a few times while they were leaving. The price was very reasonable - especially since the other companies I had checked wanted almost the same price for Elsa alone for only one hour. I called for Spiderman to come help celebrate my sons 3rd Birthday and they sent an amazing amazing Spiderman - he had the adults and kids laughing for hours! His magic was fantastic and my son adored him! he appeared on time in costume and dove right in without any direction and we have some amazing video and photo from the party that we get to enjoy for years to come! I was at another birthday party that used Fire Pixie and it was great and my friend gave me the name and well lets say we are so so happy that they sent the best Spiderman to our house to celebrate a fun birthday and do games and magic tricks and some balloons! all the kids loved him - we called him Peter Parker but his name was Blake - he is AWESOME and if you want a fun birthday party that the kids rave about call Fire Pixie and ask for Blake! read more

I hired Super Mario for my son's 4th birthday party this past weekend. This is the first time we've hired entertainment, so we didn't have any expectations of what it should be. My son was 3 so he was just excited that Super Mario came to his birthday. Owen, AKA Mario, was very engaging with the kids. As soon as Mario walked in, my son was already talking to him and Mario stayed in character the entire time. He kept the kids' attention during the magic show. Balloon twisting took awhile so we didn't get to play any games. He helped start the birthday song so my son could blow out his candle. He took group pictures with the kids. Overall, Owen did great and my son was happy, which is all that mattered to us. After Owen was done, he was a bit nervous. I don't know if it was the time or my guests that made him nervous. If Owen would have told me how long each activity should be, I could have helped wrap up the balloon twisting to keep him on schedule. But he did great! We had a younger group of kids, but also some teenagers. Having our teens involved and engaged in the show helped the younger kids enjoy it as well. read more

I hired Stephanie Hammack as Tinkerbell. She was great! From the first phone call from her, she was already in character "Hello this is Tinkerbell". She arrived on time and dressed ready to go. Great energy and really patient with all the kids. When my daughter first saw her she walked right up to Tinkerbell and hugged her. BIg Score! I think the best activity the kids enjoyed the most was the face painting - Stephanie was awesome. She painted quickly and perfectly. The next activity was the freeze dance....would have been nice though if she had come prepared with her own CD player and music..but alas my daughter had a great time.
