Food was subpar. I ordered 2 pizzas (a margherita and a mushroom) and an order of tiramisu. I asked to add garlic and arugula to my margherita pizza. There was none on it, and it only had 3 pieces of basil. Both pizzas were luke warm at best. The tiramisu was okay, but lacked any real coffee flavor. read more

Best pizza ever! There are not too many places to get brick oven pizza in PC. This place has wonderful. Highly recommended.

The pepperoni and margarita pizzas we ordered tasted good, but the crust was way too thin. I love thin crust but these were just too thin.

Delicious Neapolitan and cauliflower crust pizza! We ordered the fig on cauliflower crust and the honey on regular crust. Both incredibly good. We loved the unique flavors and will make it a point to try all the specialty pizzas available. read more

Hubby and I have been coming out here every Friday night for pizza for the past two months. So we've tried several of the flavors of pizza and most of them are okay. However neither of us really care for pepperoni, but the pepperoni pizza here is to DIE for! He gets the regular pepperoni and I get the cauliflower crust (which is also AMAZING). The quality of the ingredients is high end as well and fairly priced. Glad to have a little homemade pizza place in Palm Coast. read more

NJ restauranteur relocated and makes an awesome wood fired destination. That's the story line. So Friday nite we had the most wonderful meal. Much of it was Kendra our bartender since we sat at the bar. She was responsive, fun and very informative. 1st time at the restaurant so that was useful. Good select of beers and drinks Inc. 6 taps?. Had some good hazy ipa's. DW had the chicken parmigiana on focaccia with fries. Excellent choice though she doesn't eat much bread. I had the meatball sandwich with provolone and fries. Meatballs were awesome and bun was actually a pizza pita which was very thin pizza crust. Meatballs were some of the best I had and combined with the 'bun' it was a great meal. Kendra then pulled out her superpower(no not her great personality) her bartender skills. She made a tiramisu martini that was delicious. All that great food and service brought us back for Saturday! After a long bike ride we needed chow. DW had the shaved steak on the pizza pocket and I had the meatballs appetizer with focaccia and a beet salad on spinach with blue cheese. Kendra served us well as the previous day and mike who was coming on supported her well. Food and drinks were great again! Don't miss this restaurant! read more

First of all, I live within a mile of & half of the restaurant. I wasn't satisfied with the pizza at all. The base of all pizza is the crust right? The pizza dough was like store bought Boboli. It was very doughy and the pie was cold. When we received the pizza via delivery, we were astonished on how small it was. There was NO option on size. We thought it would be at least be a medium size pie (only 6 small slices) for the price. We always try to support independent owners, but this is difficult when they sell in inferior product... My suggestion, spend your hard earned money on a well known pizzeria that doesn't serve Boboli crust. read more

Went here for lunch with sister. She had eaten here and loved it. Me, too, now. Nice ambiance, has a bar and great selections on menu. I ordered a half salad with walnuts, feta cheese and Spring lettuce which was more than enough. A slice of fresh bread was included. Our first visit to Fire In The Hole was for a Saturday lunch and was outstanding in every way. The interior of the dining room is beautifully appointed with relaxing colors, comfortable booths and a view of the wood fire that burns within the impressive brick oven. Tracy provided excellent friendly service throughout the meal and the courses were perfectly paced. My wife and I started with cups of French onion soup topped with a large crouton and melted cheese. Then, the delicious skin-on fries tossed with parmesan cheese and truffle oil. Draft Peroni beer accompanied each savory course. The main course was a gorgeous margherita pizza topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, parmesan and basil. The wood fire made the flavor and presentation exactly like pizzas we've had in Italy. Bellissimo! For dessert, we each enjoyed a delightful cannoli. We loved everything about this place and will definitely be back! read more

The pizza is good, the service was friendly but after having the Clam Chowder for the first time tonight I got suspicious and asked the waitress if the clam chowder had ham in it? (The clam pieces seemed a bit too chunky and too chewy) She came back from kitchen after a few minutes and confirmed with a smile that the clam chowder indeed had ham in it. Needless to say I was furious as we don't eat pork. False advertising, it should be called Ham Chowder. Managment should state on the menu: NOT A REAL CLAM CHOWDER BUT PORK CHOWDER.
