Matt called me first thing the next morning, walked me through options, explanations, pricing options, was so patient and helpful. They moved around appointments so that we could get our system installed the next day- and the installation was easy, helpful, full of explanation and recommendations. Our installer even asked if we preferred he take off his shoes. To have such a nice guys to work with when I was really second guessing every person who walked near my home was so helpful. At the end of the month, I had to delete unneeded videos so the cameras would continue to gather data. The SWAT Team and Bearcat came and were in my driveway. They arrested my next door neighbor. ADT missed everything. They stopped working 2 weeks before the police activity. My 12 Ring Cameras caught everything on my property, for only $22 a month and less maintenance. I called ADT to cancel, and they gave me a hard time. They did not want to cancel my membership. I firmly said "just cancel the service, ok! Just cancel it!" and hung up. They ignored the request and refused to cancel it. Two weeks later I called back and they told me they refused to cancel it because I hung up and refused to hear their sales pitch. They tried to hold me hostage while they went thru their sales script. And tried to ignore the call when I refused to listen. Don't use this company. You can find better deals elsewhere.

I have asked ADT to produce the actual executed contract they claim I signed, including my signature/e-signature record, the date it was signed, and the specific contract term I supposedly agreed to. Until they can produce that documentation, I dispute that I owe ADT any early termination fee or remaining contract balance. What makes this even more disturbing is that I am apparently not alone. There are other consumer complaints describing disputes over long-term ADT contracts and contract extensions they say they did not knowingly agree to. We had to troubleshoot that for ourselves. Then they surprised us with a $90 bill. No warning that it would cost us $90. NO disclosure before they came out, nothing. They said they would report us to the city and collections if we didn't pay their bill that we never agreed to or knew about in advance for a product we don't want and that was never explained to us how it works.
