Good food and great live music on a quiet Thursday. Service prompt and polite. Fantastic waffle fries.

I sat in the sunroof area but was still warm thankfully as its -8c outside! And elderly regular came in and chatted up the waitress who was very friendly. I ordered mild wings and a coffee. The music was low key and thankfully the volume was low. The pub was very clean with many big screen TVs. I think Id like to come back for dinner or a sporting night! The wings were big and I ordered breaded. Good choice! They were super delicious and meaty. I appreciated the three wet-naps! (even with the three wet naps, I managed to leave the place with sauce on my face lol) I chose a single order and I could have eaten a double order. I'll definitely be coming here for wings again. $5 off wings on Thursdays and Sundays all day!! Yay! The service was so pleasant which made for a great lunch experience. So happy with this place. Highly recommend!! PS I still feel uncomfortable taking pics inside, but if you google images, that's pretty much it.

We didn't reserve in advance (which I now highly recommend). The wait was about an hour, but we passed the time at the nearby Churchill with a pre‑drink, and they texted us when our table was ready. The Sunday night jazz band was fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they work together as a team to take care of you. Amber was our primary server - she was great. Service for both drinks and food was quick, and the cozy Irish pub atmosphere made it even better. Definitely try to reserve ahead on the website if you can. If not, just plan to relax at one of the nearby pubs until your table is ready.

As for the food, my partner got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and I got the lemon pepper chicken wings. The chicken wings were good but, they put too much lemon pepper seasoning that I couldn't finish it. The portion sizes were good though and we left full. The vibe of the place was really nice. It was a good spot to take a rest from all the Niagara Falls adventures you had that day! The service was also good as well as we were seated right away.

Service was slow, but that wasn't really the waitress's fault - they clearly aren't staffing the place appropriately. She was evidently on her own in the front of the house. As a result, our drinks weren't refreshed, and we waited for a long time between her visits to the table. The chicken sandwich had looked (in the menu photo) amazing - notably in the photo it was covered with a huge amount of coleslaw. When it arrived it seemed like they had run out of coleslaw and were trying to stretch it by using only a tiny amount. I tried to get the waitress's attention to ask for more, but was finished my lunch by the time she paid us any attention. My wife's fish was fine. It is served with a side of coleslaw too - a very small amount again. My son found his burger to be very basic - a small step up from the sort of thing you get at a fast food joint. We all had fries with our lunches. The fries were actually very good. But, like the coleslaw, it was as if they were running low. All of us remarked on how few fries were on our plates. It seems very odd to be stingy with the cheapest things on our plates. Coleslaw and fries cost virtually nothing. My wife caters, and she routinely comps her customers slaw, for that reason. It's an easy, and very inexpensive, way to ensure customers feel like they're getting value. In any case, we were unimpressed, and won't be back.

Sure, it was good... but Doc's knocked by socks off. I went here on a recommendation from the staff at a hotel that competes with the Best Western where Doc's is located, which is always a good sign for a hotel restaurant. Got the corned beef boxty, which is amazing. With the boxty fries, which were really good - much better than standard fries, in my opinion. And had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Heavenly. I actually went back two days later after dinner at another restaurant to have the sticky toffee pudding one more time. The atmosphere is very nice, like a pub should be, with good service from the bartender, music the second night I was there, and some good conversation with a fellow traveler from London (Ontario). The odds are high that I'll be back. If you're looking for somewhere to burn all the delicious calories, my suggestions are the Niagara River Recreation Trail (from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake) and the Niagara Gorge Hiking Trails. Three and a half out of five for Doc's matches. They burn well, and are a cool souvenir, but it's difficult to strike them on the side of the box. Still useful to have around the house where I can strike them on the side of another box, but not ideal for a retro night out on the town.

I was glad we sat further away because it would have interfered with conversation, but I appreciated the singing (just a little loud for me). Two fellows occupied another table. Hmmm, where is everybody? Despite being an Irish Pub, the owners appeared to be Indian. All the staff that I saw were Indian, including the lone server/bartender. Now, that's not a bad thing because I love Indian food. I was actually quite happy! I just never expected it to be disguised as an Irish pub. I chose the Butter Chicken (Authentic creamy butter chicken sauce served with rice and naan bread). It was actually quite good but not quite up to the standard of an authentic Indian restaurant. It seemed to be lacking some of the creaminess that I've become used to in butter chicken. So this was very good, but perhaps not as authentic as I was hoping for. The rest of the place looked like what I would expect from an Irish pub. The (faux) worn furniture, the dart boards, the pool table. the fireplace, a good variety of beer on tap. Hopefully the evening crowd is better. There is one thing that I found to be a turnoff - the strong smell of air freshener or some kind of cleaning agent. Tone this down for a better, more natural experience. Please.

Problem is, the regular patrons, that smoke, now smoke and vape on the patio. Servers do nothing. Pathetic. The smokers never followed the 9 meter rule, always a cloud of smoke at the entrance, next to a daycare. Now they take over the patio. So there are so more patios that are not ruled by the clients. Too bad, nice patio, and great food, but I'll leave it to the inmates. Mackenzie's, magwyers, portly, st. Louis, even Boston pizza respect your air.

They share the same kitchen (and perhaps owner too). When we got there around lunch time, Nevizade was still closed but the staff said that we could order from both menus. The interior is typical of that of an Irish pub, with Irish-themed decorations, big TV screens (playing football at that time), full bar section, a small stage (for live music / performances at night), and traditional Irish music playing in the background. The interior was quite spacious with plenty of tables and seatings available (both at the bar and dining area). We were there just a few days after Halloween, so they still had Halloween decorations up (spider webs, skeletons, etc.). I liked the festive Halloween feel. The menu was pretty good - salads, miso salmon bowl, and the typical bar fare (such as burgers and fish & chips). Food was decent (I had the Arugula Salad), and service was nice and friendly.
