The last time I visited, I was already inside, stepped out briefly to make a phone call, and was refused re-entry while several men walked right in without issue. Bonus points to the bouncer for telling my friends, "Your parents should be very proud of who they raised," because they had the audacity to point out that leaving a woman outside alone at night with no coat wasn't exactly appropriate. Still one of the most bizarre customer service experiences I've ever had. It's impressive how one employee can make people swear they'll never come back. Nothing says "great security staff" like refusing re-entry to a woman who was already inside while continuing to wave men through the door. Absolute 0/10. I left with no confidence that customer safety or basic respect was a priority.

Impressive service by Maria-bartender and multitasker extraordinaire...she managed a busy Friday night group of customers with no wasted movements. But these were perfectly cooked and delicious. The fish sandwich, however, was only ok. The fish was very thin and disappointing which is a bad start for a fish sandwich. The bun was brioche (I believe) which I've railed against before. Our ridiculous president should ban it (that sounds about right). It overwhelmed the sandwich and fell apart (as it always does). Our server was a lovely young girl who was extremely attentive. She came back multiple times to check on us and get us soda refills. Once we finished, we sat and talked a while, and she kept coming back to check on us even after we paid. It wasn't crowded, and she told us no rush. It is a very comfortable atmosphere and even has a separate dining room area on the other side of the bar area. I am usually not a fan of eating in a bar area, but the setup here is great. I was perfectly happy eating at a high top in the bar.
