Even though we were "out of towners", the bartender was super nice to us. The food was great. You know how you can tell when a place has old oil they fry in? Not this place. If they have a soup or chili, it's great. Last time we split the Reuben. It's grilled open faced, the sauce is touch sweet. I love the steamers there, too. A few decent beers on tap. If it's a quiet nite, they'll wrap up the kitchen before 8.

Decided to try this place on a recent Sunday afternoon. There is smoking allowed in the bar and…read moreyou have to walk through the bar to get to the non-smoking dining room. It's definitely a "locals" bar cause we (my girl friend and I), were stared at walking in. We waited a few minutes before even be acknowledging we were in the dining room. Which mind you the dining room was definitely cold, I had to put my coat back on, not fun eating with you coat on. The food once we ordered didn't take long, garlic parmesan wings and a hot wing platter that came with fries. Asked for ranch instead of blue cheese(don't like it), server said fine then charged me extra for it on the bill. Went to use the restroom and it was colder than the dining room! It was a football Sunday, and the bar was very loud and busy. The guy who appeared to be the owner didn't do anything to help out. The bartender was also our server, we were never offered refills or checked on to see if our food was to our liking. Our bill was placed on the table without even a thank-you, so tip was lower than normal (my base is 20% then up or down depending on the service). Overall, great food, food itself would be a 5 star. Service (or lack of), and having to eat with our coats on definitely lowered the star rating. Place appears to be good, if you are a local or friends with the bartender. Will not be going back.

She was the only employee for both the bar and the dining room apparently (for the record, none of this experience is her fault. She was doing what she could with what she had). Then when we ordered orange juice for one of the kids is was so rotten it was practically carbonated. Of course it takes forever to get our food ordered and drinks replaced or refilled because there was one person serving twenty people. Finally when I wanted to pay for the meal I had a Groupon. This was the only reason we went there. I was told they do not accept them because they did not accept it after a dispute with Groupon. Spoke with Groupon and they said the contract was between the restaurant and another local vendor. Definitely unsatisfied. When I voiced my concern on Facebook too, management was not friendly.
