Gene restored the front end of my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid when I'd bought it from a dealer and it had an undisclosed accident. He worked with me to stay within my budget and communicated every step of the way. When I was ready to have more work to restore it a year later, he didn't hesitate, staying in my budget. When the car had mechanical issues that were outside his scope? He referred me to his dad's garage up the way who treated me just as kindly and helpfully. This year I brought him my moms old Suzuki after she got in a fender bender. He searched high and low for comparable parts (they weren't made anymore) and did a fantastic job and kept things in budget. Can not recommend Gene and his crew highly enough. Once they took the bumper off they also found other damage including a cracked grill. All and all the damage totaled nearly $3000 which the other guys insurance was covering. Long story short when they told me the grill was cracked and they would replace I made sure to tell them this was not the grill that came with the jeep, this was a chrome grill from an upgraded model that I had purchased and had the dealer install before I even drive the new vehicle off the lot. I also mentioned this to the very professional and attentive insurance guy in charge of the claim (Shawn at progressive). Both parties assured me they would take the model number off the grill I have and order it from that to ensure the correct grill was ordered. Nearly a week later I pick up my jeep and it's the wrong grill. Took another week for them to get it in. They told me it could take an hour hour and half to put the new one on and I just waited. To their credit I was there about twenty minutes and they had the right grill installed and I was leaving. That's why I have then any stars at all. The seeming ability not to listen or follow through on what they said they would do is enough for me not to go back.

I took my car to Hittle's Garage to have the fuel tank drained and cleaned, the oil changed, and to…read morefind out why my engine kept throwing a P0038 code. I specifically told them to drop the fuel tank and drain the old gas out to avoid damaging the fuel pump as the car had been sitting for about a year and gas gelatinizes. Not only did they just run a hose down the gas tank damaging the fuel pump, which the dealership had confirmed upon dropping the tank as the bolts had not been touched, and the fuel pump wiring chafed, they damaged the plastic manifold cover on my engine while accessing the coil packs which they did not mention to me. They also damaged the rear seat latches that the seat clicks in which you access to get directly to the fuel pump underneath the seat so now the rear seat is not secure.They charged me for four coil packs when they only replaced one. They told me the car was fixed but right after I drove up the road the problems continued. I paid them $400 for parts and labor that I did not receive and had to pay the dealership over $600 to repair the damage they caused. I would have paid less had I went to the dealership to begin with! I would rate this place 0 stars if Yelp would let me. If You value your money and your car, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Upon going to the Better Business Bureau website, I learned after the fact that they have charged people in the past for items they did not install or replace.

Then when they "got" the parts, he kept being told that it had to be painted. Often times when my SIL called, they didn't know what car he was talking about or they didn't know what was going on with it. Then, to his surprise, they had taken the Jeep to their shop in Newark without first discussing the move with him. Just this last Friday, (12-29-23) my SIL found out (from the insurance company) that it had just been torn apart and it was totaled. This after 4 months of being lied to and being lead to believe that progress on repairs was being made. Don't take your vehicles to the Zanesville Autobody Collision and Glass, they are a bunch of liars.

When I informed our agent he referred us to an insurance estimator in Pataskala, Their price was 3600$. When I spoke to the Agent again, I wanted to get an additional estimate. He referred me to Pagani's in Downtown Newark. The Pagani brothers who own and manage the shop looked at the car, came out with a cleaner and removed EVERY SINGLE mark from the Headlight, frontend, hood and the protective clear cover on the nose. EVERYTHING!! It saved us our deductible and whatever increase in our insurance rate we surely would have incurred. I had a major issue with the drive shaft and couldn't move the RV any further. 5pm on a Friday ''rush hour'' And I'm there blocking the bridge in both direction. I needed a miracle, and there came Dusty Brown looking at me straight in the eyes and simply say '' Hold on a Sec '' I'll be right back. Sure enough he came back with chains to hook up my RV while another of his employee was directing traffic around the RV. He tells my wife & I to go in his truck while he's getting my RV towed to his shop. He place our RV on his manicured lawn and with his body crawled under the RV to diagnose the Drive Shaft issues. Telling me that he wouldn't feel comfortable letting me go without fixing the drive shaft in a professional manner. He contacted another professional on our behalf and organized to have the repairs done first thing in the morning. They had to rebuild both ends U-Joint bearings parts. With what had to be done I mechanically knew that it would be a costly repair. Yet the next morning Dusty as he promised came back and re-installed the drive shaft in place making sure everything was perfectly done. I have no idea how he pulled that one off but even the cost was ridiculously low. Dusty Brown '' Brother '' you saved my summer vacations. You showed extraordinary respect to people you didn't even know, only looking at providing help at the most needed time. Anyhow, he came out pretty much when he intended to after getting his dog to medical care, which I appreciated. I got my windshield replaced because I was tired of the million tiny pockmarks indented into my old one. I know there's wear and tear, but it still bugs me. He was cool enough to replace it for me in under an hour while also checking the seals around my other windows for free after I mentioned my car floods during intense rainstorms. He and his associate were professional the entire time. I will definitely hire him again when I go to replace my windshield again in a few years.
