Two the best meals we've had in a very long time. The young man waiter/bartender was very sweet and helpful. The food outstanding, can I say more?
When we left we ran into the jolly chef exiting the kitchen via the outside to come round to the front and visit the tables I presume. He was lovely and happy to shake our hands. HOW DO THESE PEOPLE EAT THIS MUCH AT ONE MEAL? We ate there there two nights in a row, not because we aren't adventurous, or don't like to try new things, but we know a great thing when we taste it. We wanted authentic Alsatian food cooked well and this is the place. It's also darling inside, try beer the way the locals drink it. It's called Picon- yummy. They also have wonderful local wine. The desserts are wonderful too, if you have room, if not share one. Do yourself a favor, have a meal here while in Strassbourg-but you might need to make reservations if you eat any later than7:00.
The prices are so reasonable too.
