Nicole is amazing. She was able to produce the exact invitation we wanted for a reasonable price.

Dupont Circle, Downtown

I've been buying my leather journals here for years, and it has always been my go-to. The quality…read moreis beautiful, the service is consistently wonderful, and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else for my leather journals. But today's experience deserves a special shoutout to Ye and Trey, who were absolutely lovely! I went in to buy my first refillable leather journal and officially joined what I'm calling the "refillable journal club." Ye and Trey spent so much time showing me all the ways I could customize it and really make it my own. I added cute charms and clips, had my nickname embossed on the front, and they even took the time to teach me about pens and fountain pens. I left with my very first fountain pen! What stood out most was how genuinely passionate they both are about what they do. They were so excited for me to start my first little collection book and even welcomed me "to the club." It made the whole experience feel so personal and fun. I probably spent an hour in the store, and the customer service was exceptional. As a business owner myself, I kept thinking that I would LOVE to have Ye and Trey on my team. They were knowledgeable, patient, kind, enthusiastic, and incredibly generous with their time. I've loved this store for years, but they made today's visit especially memorable. I'm already looking forward to coming back, seeing them again, and adding more to my journal. Five stars for the store, and an extra special thank you to Ye and Trey for making my first refillable journal experience such a great one! Best investment and value you could ask for when purchasing for yourself or others!!

Jenni Bick has been on my "must visit" list for quite awhile, so I was more than thrilled to stop…read moreby on my recent trip to DC for a Yelp event! I got there right as they opened, and literally spent an hour just slowly wandering through the beauty of all the journals, cards, notebooks, notepads, stickers, pens, paper, and general amazingness. If you're a planner (or pen) junkie, there's literally something for everyone here, and I found their prices to be varied enough that there was something for every budget. Did I need another set of pens, a new sticker, and a purse-sized notepad? Probably not! Did I buy some anyway. Absolutely! Bonus points that they also sell local postcards *and* stamps, so I was able to write a little note to friends and family back home on a DC-themed postcard. This spot will 100% be on my "visit again" list - because really, can you ever have enough journal supplies?!

From the very beginning, I knew I wanted our invitations to be the first glimpse into the feeling…read moreand vibe of our wedding day. They absolutely brought that vision to life. The team took my ideas and helped refine them into something even more beautiful than I imagined, and they carried that same thoughtful design seamlessly through all of our day-of stationery. Everything felt cohesive, intentional, and so uniquely us. We received countless compliments on both our invitations and our same-day paper goods. Guests commented on how beautiful and elevated everything looked, and it truly set the tone for the entire celebration. Beyond how stunning everything was, these are keepsakes that I'll cherish forever. Looking back at our invitations and wedding paper instantly brings me back to one of the happiest days of our lives. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I'm so grateful they helped create such a meaningful part of our wedding.

I've really gotten into loose leaf tea and I think they were surprised by my knowledge (not trying to brag or anything) but sometimes I would ask a question and get a pause or something. Nowadays there's so many great small tea businesses to order from online with so many more unique blends. However it's nice to still shop in person and see the tea. This shop doesn't have an online website and they don't sell online. If I wanted more tea I would call to order and have it shipped. Which for a millennial who prefers to deal solely online is a lot of work. They didn't have as much tea as I would have hoped for especially in terms of flavors. Mostly just plain teas. The lady recommended a mango black tea they call Mango Mist. Unusual brewing instructions. She told me to heat my water to 190 for a black tea which is far too low. I tried both 190 and the usual boiling 212 and much preferred 212. Keep in mind temperature varies for what kind of tea. Pricey for loose leaf compared to other small businesses but it is in downtown Georgetown. I'm not local and I don't think I'd be back even if I was but it was a fun experience.
