And some... like literally just got back to me like a month after I requested a quote #Monthmen. Like... no joke, this other printer got back to me after I've literally been in possession of Minuteman's actual delivered order for like a week and a half. Francesca, the graphic designer that I corresponded with was awesome. She was not only quick to respond, but was quick to get me a proof by mail #AtNoCharge. After I got back to her telling her that the proof looked good, and ended up adding a few things to the order last minute, she got my whole order to me in less than a business week. We waited in line for a long time even though the store was empty. When it was finally our turn, she didn't even look at us or say hello. With her back turned, she said, "I'll be with you in a minute." Another employee noticed how slow and dismissive she was and kindly tried to help, but she immediately got defensive and wouldn't let him. She eventually rang up our items, then walked away while the payment was processing. When the screen froze, I asked if it had gone through. She snapped, "It's processing." I said it would have been nice to know that instead of standing there with no communication, and she snapped again, "I can't make it go faster." That's not what I was asking. I just wanted basic courtesy. Her tone and attitude were completely out of line. The other employee then checked and told us the payment hadn't even gone through. At that point I told them to forget it and walked out. I went straight to UPS, where I was helped immediately and treated with respect. The difference in professionalism was night and day. FedEx seriously needs to do better. The fact that I even have to leave a public review because FedEx makes people call to file a complaint is ridiculous. I'm not wasting my time explaining this on the phone. This review is my complaint, and I'll be taking all my business to UPS from now on.

They customize t shirts, sweatshirts, totes, etc. Fast, local, and cheap way to get a batch of marketing items. But today's experience deserves a special shoutout to Ye and Trey, who were absolutely lovely! I went in to buy my first refillable leather journal and officially joined what I'm calling the "refillable journal club." Ye and Trey spent so much time showing me all the ways I could customize it and really make it my own. I added cute charms and clips, had my nickname embossed on the front, and they even took the time to teach me about pens and fountain pens. I left with my very first fountain pen! What stood out most was how genuinely passionate they both are about what they do. They were so excited for me to start my first little collection book and even welcomed me "to the club." It made the whole experience feel so personal and fun. I probably spent an hour in the store, and the customer service was exceptional. I got there right as they opened, and literally spent an hour just slowly wandering through the beauty of all the journals, cards, notebooks, notepads, stickers, pens, paper, and general amazingness. If you're a planner (or pen) junkie, there's literally something for everyone here, and I found their prices to be varied enough that there was something for every budget. Did I need another set of pens, a new sticker, and a purse-sized notepad? Probably not! Did I buy some anyway. Absolutely! Bonus points that they also sell local postcards *and* stamps, so I was able to write a little note to friends and family back home on a DC-themed postcard. This spot will 100% be on my "visit again" list - because really, can you ever have enough journal supplies?!
