If you are reviewing this, dear reader, then you likely need some services that require…read moreprofessionalism, tact, and compassion from the provider. I assure you, you are not going to find any of these at this location! I implore you to skip this place and run (if you can ;)) to the office in Johnson City or anywhere else within the realm of possibility. The lack of professionalism or general #%^*'s given by the employees here is genuinely mind boggling. I am not alone in this. I've met other mobility -impaired people who reached the same conclusion: the customer service is deplorable. GO TO JOHNSON CITY OFFICE if you don't want to be treated like garbage. Hope the company will make some changes here. Staff at other Hangar locations have been absolutely fantastic and total game changers in my day to day mobility.

Grand daughter needed prosthetic leg. Went to Hanger, J.C., NY. The guy seemed nice enough…read moreaccording to friend that took her to the appointment. Acted like he knew what he was doing. She did get a prosthetic leg,but problems were compounded. First leg,to big, to lose. Causing falls, causing infection, causing INJURY. Second, the replacement of the first bad one. To big. Cutting into grown, sticking out to far at hip. Collapse at knee and ankle, completely twisting around. Causing her to throw leg when she walked. Was crooked when standing. Hitting ankle and foot on other leg. Rubbing on skin, causing open sores and infection. Hanger told her it would be 2 years before she could get another leg. Hanger got paid by insurance and of course the insurance won't pay again for a replacement. So now my grand daughter is suffering with injuries, constantly falling with this defected leg and is a victim of fraud as well as the insurance. The leg looks like it belonged to someone else,is a outdated prosthetic that is not prescribed by other providers. Yes,we will seek legal damages, making reports to the insurance and federal government. I sent her to another provider who found my grand daughter is a victim . She is injured from the guy at Hanger not doing proper measurements, providing a correct prosthetic, causing her to fall, suffer infections, open sores, hip damages, excessive pain and provided a oversized leg that was not correct for her height, stump and had non-working joints for walking, standing and so on. This leg injured her badly. Beware of this when you need prosthetics. Get a second opinion if your unsure before accepting.

Strongly recommended. Scheduling is easier and this doctor knows what he's doing…read more Also, Dr. Gould takes time to listen to my questions, This is a friendly, relaxed environment. I've gone to a convenient care center - they've misdiagnosed my foot problem a few times. Other Orthopedists in the area are already booked. If you're in Ithaca and you have a foot problem, see Dr. Gould at Cayuga Foot Care. He's competent and scheduling is easier.

I went to see the doctor who owns this business a few years ago to have a plantar's wart removed. I…read moreasked him to continue to treatment I'd had done with a doctor I was seeing back home (was in college at the time). He insisted that the doctor from home was doing the treatment in a stupid way and it would be much easier and faster to remove it surgically. Ok. Well I filled out a quick form and he took me into the office. He seemed like he was in a bit of a hurry. He injected some kind of numbing local anesthetic into my big toe and it felt painful and not especially numb. I told him this and he told me that didn't make sense, but added a bit more anesthetic. He then started cutting into my foot, at which point I cried out because my toe was not numb at all, and very sensitive because of the infection. He insisted that it was psychosomatic, and made me look away and cut in again, I still cried out, and he realized that it was actually painful and I wasn't faking. He then asked me if I had Raynauds Syndrome. I said I might? I never was told this by a doctor, but I'd read about it online and it sounded like me. He then got frustrated, said I clearly do have Raynaud's, and told me pretty aggressively that I should have told him that. He added even more anesthetic, completed the surgery, and I left really uncomfortable and upset. I ended up having to pay a big bill because my insurance didn't cover everything, the plantar's wart came back except there were 2 instead of just 1, and I still (years later) haven't regained all of the feeling in the part of my toe where he injected a lot of anesthetic. Pretty terrible experience with this doctor. Had he listened to me in the first place when I told him the anesthetic wasn't working, I could have avoided a painful and frustrating experience.
