Established in 1972.
MVPT Physical Therapy - Ithaca was formerly known as McCune, Murphy, & Potter Physical Therapy, which was the oldest private practice in the area. In January 2025, they joined the MVPT Physical Therapy team. We also offer two other convenient locations in the Ithaca area, MVPT Physical Therapy
in Dryden and Trumansburg.

Meet the Manager: Mark M and Lauren P.
Mark M., PT, MPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT and Lauren P., PT, DPT, OCS are the Managing Partners for all MVPT Physical Therapy clinics in the Ithaca area. We are conveniently located in Dryden, Ithaca, and Trumansburg.
Mark M. received his degree from Gannon University. His areas of clinical expertise are in orthopedics, sports injuries, and vestibular rehabilitation. He is a member of the Orthopedic and Private Practice Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT).
Lauren P. received her degree from Utica College. Lauren is a member of the Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She also serves as a clinical coordinator for student clinical education programs and has trained several student physical therapists.
